"What can I say in general the location is very beautiful with some aspects to improve such as the surrounding garden not cared for and not up to the standard of the structure. The restaurant and the wines are extremely positive notes beyond all excellence. The chef is excellent in everything from the care of the dishes to the superlative content.... Excellent wines that accompanied each dish and above all good that he followed us in the presentation of the dishes and especially the wines 🍷their strong point. The passito Terre d'ocra is something exceptional. I highly recommend the place"

"Pulled into Trapani in a rented Fiat Panda (which roars like a lawnmower with ambition) and checked into the Giardino Mon Plaisir. First impression: very well priced, clean, and run with a certain understated nobility. That’s no coincidence—the owner is a direct descendant of the historic Pepoli family, whose museum sits just one block away. If you’re into history, you’re basically sleeping in the family’s backyard. We were greeted by Alessandro, who deserves a medal in cross-cultural hospitality. He explained everything with style—from why the main door must be closed at night (cats are sneaky) to how our room key card also doubles as the opener for the massive garage door. Pro tip: just trust whatever Alessandro tells you, you’ll be fine. The breakfast is excellent and very well attended. They’ll make you whatever you want—scrambled eggs, bacon, or anything else—and the coffee comes exactly how you like it, from espresso to cappuccino to a tall Americano. The yard is nicely appointed, perfect for relaxing after you’ve sweated out some cannoli calories. There’s no gym on-site, but Dino’s Gym nearby does the trick if you need to prove you can still bench more than your luggage. Our room was directly behind the front desk—functional, but with zero view unless you count the back of the reception wall. The mattress could use an upgrade to memory foam, because my back remembered every spring. Bathroom was solid: good water pressure, shower cabin a decent size, everything worked. All in all, it’s a charming little spot with character, history, and fair pricing. If you want a gym in-house, stay somewhere else—but if you’re happy with old-school Sicilian hospitality, hearty breakfasts, and the noble guidance of Alessandro, Giardino Mon Plaisir will do the job (Panda rental optional)."

"An experience not to be recommended given how it went..... although the room is very large, it does not have a real wardrobe (only one where you can hang your stuff and the shelves are very high up where there are blankets and pillows, so impossible put something in it, laundry? There's no drawer to put it in.....anyway....with three suitcases for a week.....I had to leave them on the floor and open them every day like refugees... This is already really inconvenient! Breakfast? All packaged stuff, not a homemade cake, what the heck are we in Sicily? Would they throw them in your face on the street and not take care of one of the most important meals of the day? little and sometimes I don't understand why we don't put our heart and soul into what we have. On the first and only day of breakfast the waitress approaches us and tells us (we have news to tell you) from tomorrow breakfast will be taken in the room... .. there is a fault..... Obviously it wasn't true otherwise they would have had problems even at that moment.... The real reason was a person for all the customers in the rooms who couldn't manage..... So they thought it best to leave the snack bag outside the room for the day.... the next day we asked out of pure curiosity what they had decided to do.... I repeat there was no reason to do it having at least used the kitchenette and fridge at least.....and they tell us (no, well, we'll do it.....making it clear from their tone that the fault had never occurred) evidently they had had a lot of controversy from other customers. Another day..... Room never done......let's go and say it and I'll reply (ah..... Evidently they forgot) oh well 😂. On the last evening we enter the room and find this huge square pouf (which served as another bed) added near the bed under which I had the suitcases which for me were my wardrobe which I pulled out every day for the change.....which didn't I could no longer pull ..... Put like this because maybe he had to return them ..... Invading your spaces..... something shocking ..... We took him and put him outside the room (indoors) also annoyed from this gesture. The structure appears neglected and without shaded areas... but it has great potential. The swimming pool is nothing to say spectacular and perhaps it is the only point that raises the trip comments.... But honestly, that's not all that matters. On the other hand, a positive note goes to Giusy who, poor thing, has all the work on her shoulders and is very polite and kind."

"The location is convenient, the service and staff are very pleasant. But the room is a bit of a challenge. It's hot in the room, and the air conditioner is right overhead. You turn it on and it's cold, but you turn it off and an hour later it's hot again. It wakes you up at night. And the walls feel like cardboard; you can hear the TV from the next room."

"What a great find!! The hosts, Giorgia & Davide are absolutely wonderful! They provide a wonderful breakfast that will start your day off right! This little B&B is located in the very quiet town of Ummari, which is a very short drive to the ruins in Segesta, as well as the ruins in Selinunte, both sites are worth seeing. This location is also a short drive to Trapini. There are places to eat around them that are not typical tourist places, definitely more Locals. A great experience in Sicilian life."

"We ended our stay in the north west of Sicily at this agriturismo as it was ideally situated for an early flight from Trapani airport and also close to Marsala and other interesting locations. The farm is reached by a long, decent surfaced road and is situated in an extensive olive orchard which provides a nice walk to stretch one’s legs The fact that English was not a strong point for our hosts was one of the attractions as it helped us develop our Italian. Not that this affected their hospitality and friendliness which was wonderful and typically Sicilian. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a substantial en-suite. However it was located in a tower so would be a problem for people with limited mobility, though believe there is also accommodation at ground level. Breakfast was fairly basic but fresh and plentiful and there also is a restaurant on site with delicious local food and drink which proved fantastic value for money. Rita who ran the front of house was a wonderfully attentive host with a great sense of humour. The only downside we felt was the absence of any shaded outdoor area with comfortable seating for an al fresco breakfast or to while away an early evening."

"the service was amazing. The staff went out of their way to help us when we couldn't get to the hotel due to the street blocks all over the city. However, the hotel itself is somewhat worn and tiring. The bed feels cheap. The location is great and right by the beach though."
