Hotels with Pools in Capital

The location is slightly off downtown; if you have a car, it's not a problem. Street parking is fine; you can pay $19 for a night. The flat is huge for two people. The facilities are in good condition. There are two Dyson fans, one in the living room and another in the bedroom. We were here in the summer, but the temperature at night was around 12-14. It's good not to have AC in the room, and the room still feels cool enough with the balcony door and the bottom windows opened in the bedroom and the living room, even without turning on the fans. There are washing machines with a drying function in the room, which are free to use, but you must bring your detergents or buy them at the front desk. I liked the living environment and the fresh air here. As it's off the main road, I enjoyed the silent evening without traffic noise.

I booked a 1 bedroom suite but the main living room doesn’t have an air conditioner so it was pretty stuffy. There was a portable air conditioner in the bedroom which was very noisy. Room is clean but dated. The location is fantastic and service from the staff very good. The hotel is in an amazing location right by the water, 5 min walk to parliament, empress hotel and water. The bus stop to the ferry is also 5 min walk so super convenient. There is a great green restaurant next to the hotel which I highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

I had to book this room at the last minute late at night after a cancelled flight then had to zip back to the airport in the morning so I didnt have time to enjoy the ammenities but it looked awesome. Fireplace, spa bathtub, and balcony with a view. Just lovely. The front desk staff at both checkin and checkout were both so kind and helpful.

Love love love Hotel Zed!! We spent a lot of time in the pool and sauna. I absolutely loved bringing the board games from the lobby to our room. A very family oriented place for sure. Fresh ground coffee for the French press every morning was definitely a perk as well. It was our son's birthday and they gave us some balloons, stickers and a lovely card for him as well. Such a great vibe

- A relatively old hotel room is darker, there is a kitchen for family cooking, the location is quite convenient. Breakfast is included, which is acceptable in a small hotel style. The only problem is that the hotel does not provide air conditioning, maybe the weather is still relatively cold in May, so there is no air conditioning service. The front desk attendants are also happy to provide different information to tourists for sightseeing .

The room is OK, but it is relatively simple, there is no hot water bottle, there is the simplest coffee machine, it is surprising that even bottled water is not provided. This check-in efficiency was indeed the first time I met in Canada. It is the off-season, there are a lot of vacancies, and I arranged a room close to the elevator. I said if I could change it. This was a nightmarish trip, 1st I had asked for a room on the highest floor possible, with a view of the Harbour, I am a photographer and made the trip to Victoria to get some great photos of the inner Harbour. I got a room on tenth floor overlooking the parking lot and side street. The windows were so dirty it was hard to see anything, in my eyes I was ripped off, I am not going to to stay at any Merriott hotels, at the time of my booking it said they had a buffet breakfast and when I arrived they told me there is no buffet breakfast just a restaurant on site, parking was said to be free self parking. I was charged $29.40 / night to self park my truck.

Fantastic stay at the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites. The suites are huge, very comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained. Everything was clean, spacious, and in great condition. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Victoria!

Since I went there during the hot season of summer, I didn’t notice that the website didn’t state that the hotel does not have in-room cooling air conditioning. There was a small fan in room 204, and the window could not be turned on for ventilation. I stayed for two nights. When I picked up the room, the hotel staff told me that the hotel had no vacancies and no room could be changed. Even contacting trip.com customer service could not solve the problem of changing hotels. I couldn't have a good rest on the first night. The lady on duty at night was empathetic and told me that the hotel was not fully booked. The hotel staff did not change the room until the next day when the hotel staff notified the manager. There was no western sun and ventilation. The hotel staff highly recommended 👍🏼 which made my trip to Victoria perfect. In summer, hotels without air conditioning are not recommended, and it is also recommended that websites state that there is no air conditioning.
