The location is slightly off downtown; if you have a car, it's not a problem. Street parking is fine; you can pay $19 for a night. The flat is huge for two people. The facilities are in good condition. There are two Dyson fans, one in the living room and another in the bedroom. We were here in the summer, but the temperature at night was around 12-14. It's good not to have AC in the room, and the room still feels cool enough with the balcony door and the bottom windows opened in the bedroom and the living room, even without turning on the fans. There are washing machines with a drying function in the room, which are free to use, but you must bring your detergents or buy them at the front desk. I liked the living environment and the fresh air here. As it's off the main road, I enjoyed the silent evening without traffic noise.

I am writing to formally express my very serious dissatisfaction regarding the condition of my room and the overall standard of service during my stay. To be completely honest, the situation is far below what any reasonable guest would expect from a hotel of this category and price level. There is clearly long-term dust accumulation on the exhaust fan and in multiple corners of the room. This is not a matter of minor housekeeping oversight for a day or two it reflects a prolonged lack of proper maintenance and cleaning standards. Such conditions are unacceptable for a property that presents itself as a luxury establishment. Even more concerning is the foul, rotten odor coming from the sink water. Every time I brush my teeth or wash my hands, the unpleasant smell is immediately noticeable and deeply disturbing. This raises not only comfort issues, but also serious concerns about hygiene and water safety. At this level of accommodation, guests should never have to question the basic quality of the water provided in their room. I strongly believe this matter requires immediate professional inspection. I chose to stay at your hotel and willingly paid a premium rate because I expected a premium experience including cleanliness, attention to detail, and reliable service. Unfortunately, what I have encountered so far reflects a significant gap between the price charged and the quality delivered. In addition, despite leaving a tip for housekeeping and placing a written note clearly requesting replenishment, my shampoo was not refilled. I was eventually forced to go into the corridor to find another staff member for assistance. Cotton swabs were also not replenished for three consecutive days. These are very basic service expectations that should not require repeated reminders from guests. Taken together, these issues have had a substantial negative impact on my stay and overall impression of the hotel. I find this situation extremely disappointing and frankly inconsistent with the reputation and standards your brand claims to uphold. I would appreciate it if management could review this matter seriously and provide a clear and appropriate resolution.

The room offers panoramic views of Victoria Harbour, stunning both day and night. Chinatown and downtown shops are a 6-10 minute walk away, and a leisurely stroll across the bridge is captivating. Western-style breakfast and unlimited coffee are provided, appealing to both children and seniors.

I had to book this room at the last minute late at night after a cancelled flight then had to zip back to the airport in the morning so I didnt have time to enjoy the ammenities but it looked awesome. Fireplace, spa bathtub, and balcony with a view. Just lovely. The front desk staff at both checkin and checkout were both so kind and helpful.

Our family stayed at the night on the last day of Labour Day long weekend, so we felt less busy. It’s a good stay for going to Botanical Beach at Port Renfrew. The Ella beach nearby is awesome for sunset. The room is spacious for four of us. We are happy to see lots tiny fishes and 6 seals playing in the hotel private harbour. We did not use the hotel pool coz it looks not so clean. However we enjoyed the complimentary 1 hr tandem kayak very much. See lots wild lives.

- A relatively old hotel room is darker, there is a kitchen for family cooking, the location is quite convenient. Breakfast is included, which is acceptable in a small hotel style. The only problem is that the hotel does not provide air conditioning, maybe the weather is still relatively cold in May, so there is no air conditioning service. The front desk attendants are also happy to provide different information to tourists for sightseeing .

The room is OK, but it is relatively simple, there is no hot water bottle, there is the simplest coffee machine, it is surprising that even bottled water is not provided. The Indian brother at the front desk was very slow to check in. After asking for various messages to enter the computer, he finally gave me a form to let me fill in the information just now. This check-in efficiency was indeed the first time I met in Canada. It is the off-season, there are a lot of vacancies, and I arranged a room close to the elevator. I said if I could change it. He said that he would add money to upgrade, and he was completely speechless. In short, the feeling is very general, not recommended.

Fantastic stay at the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites. The suites are huge, very comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained. Everything was clean, spacious, and in great condition. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Victoria!

We had a great stay here! The building itself is older, but it’s very obvious that the hotel has been newly renovated. Everything felt clean and fresh , the room was spacious, the furniture looked brand new, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights for our family was the game room, which was perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The amenities were also excellent, and the customer service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. A huge bonus was the free EV charging, which made our trip even more convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again!

The room wasn't large, but it had a kettle. There was a bar upstairs. The room wasn't very soundproof, and it was quite far from the city center. They sent an email before check-in requesting a $1 charge to my credit card, but then charged me another CAD cent at the front desk. I don't understand the point of Canadian hotels deducting from your credit card and then refunding it.
