Hotels with Pools in Capital

Pros: 1. The hotel's location right by the Inner Harbour is convenient for visiting several nearby attractions. 2. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and gave us detailed information about the hotel's entertainment and dining facilities, as well as local sights. Knowing we were driving, they also informed us about parking (even though there's a charge). 3. The beds were comfortable. Cons: 1. Due to the hotel's age, the bathroom only has a bathtub, no separate shower. They've installed two glass panels to act as a splash guard, but there's a large gap between them, which means shower water still wets the entire bathroom floor. 2. The windows in the rooms facing the street aren't double-glazed, so the noise from passing vehicles at night is very loud. At over 4000 a night, the value for money is extremely low.

I had to book this room at the last minute late at night after a cancelled flight then had to zip back to the airport in the morning so I didnt have time to enjoy the ammenities but it looked awesome. Fireplace, spa bathtub, and balcony with a view. Just lovely. The front desk staff at both checkin and checkout were both so kind and helpful.

Very clean, the beach is very convenient for walking, the sea view is also good, that is, if you drive a large off-road vehicle, the hotel's parking lot can't stop, you have to stop in the public parking lot that is a distance from the hotel, the overall feeling is good.

A satisfying trip! The hotel offers bicycles, coffee, a pool, a sauna, and a hot tub. For the price, it's really good value for money. However, on the last night, the housekeeper came in very impolitely before I had even checked out!

This hotel is in a great location making it easy to explore Beacon Hill, the inner harbour, Government Street and all the other sights of Victoria. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Leisure facilities were also of a high standard. 

The location is close to the airport and pier, making it easy to catch your trip the next day There is only one elevator in the entire hotel. It is very difficult to wait for a seat to get in and out during the morning rush hour. It is especially difficult to take the stairs when checking out with luggage. We stayed as a couple at Sandman Hotel Victoria for four nights over the Christmas holidays. The hotel looks fresh and modern, as if recently renovated, and was very affordable for Victoria given the season. Amenities include a swimming pool, hot tub, and gym, and the gym is particularly well equipped for a hotel in this price range. Unfortunately, we never had a chance to use the pool or hot tub as they were consistently crowded, and at one point two guests appeared to have poured soapy products into the hot tub, effectively turning it into their own bubble bath, which was unpleasant, and staff did not seem to address it. Another downside was housekeeping: daily service is not provided by default and must be requested each morning, which was not explained at check-in. When we did request housekeeping, towels were replaced and the bed was made, but toiletries such as soap and toilet paper were not replenished and had to be requested separately. Overall, good value and a fresh property, but housekeeping practices and monitoring of shared amenities could be improved.

The room is OK, but it is relatively simple, there is no hot water bottle, there is the simplest coffee machine, it is surprising that even bottled water is not provided. The Indian brother at the front desk was very slow to check in. After asking for various messages to enter the computer, he finally gave me a form to let me fill in the information just now. This check-in efficiency was indeed the first time I met in Canada. It is the off-season, there are a lot of vacancies, and I arranged a room close to the elevator. I said if I could change it. He said that he would add money to upgrade, and he was completely speechless. In short, the feeling is very general, not recommended.

Fantastic stay at the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites. The suites are huge, very comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained. Everything was clean, spacious, and in great condition. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay in Victoria!

The hotel front desk staff were incredibly friendly, making my stay pleasant! While not particularly clean, it felt a bit dated. However, it was still clean. There was no body wash, just basic soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The location was excellent! Victoria Inner Harbor, Parliament House, and the hot spots behind them were all within a 10-minute walk, making it easy to visit restaurants, bars, and cafes and then return home. There are also numerous bus stops nearby, and Beacon Hill Park is within walking distance or by bus! I highly recommend it.
