I had a great stay at Nagaworld 2. The room was clean, spacious, and well-furnished with modern amenities like fast Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the check-in process was smooth. I especially enjoyed the luxurious rainfall shower and the tasteful room decor. The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to entertainment and dining options. Overall, a fantastic experience—highly recommend for both business and leisure stays.

Don’t typically stay with the Hyatt Brand, but the Hyatts in Asia have been amazing! The room here was great. It’s wonderfully located - near the river, the Palace etc. That’s not the reason for this review. This review is for the STAFF. We stayed here 12 nights and each day we were met with a collection of sweet smiles. Wish we learned all their names but are glad to have connected with a few: Daily breakfast buffet were with the lovely Seavyoung and shy Srey reap - thank you for taking such wonderful care of us each morning; Sotheary was our lovely lunch companion; Sopha, a sweet little thing from the Attic; Yem from the Regency Club, thank you for our bottomless Prosecco; Dinner Staff from 55, lovely Leakana and her team; Last, but certainly not least, Fariza, sweet darling, thank you for singing us romantic songs; Eric,one of the managers, love your contagious energy. Five Stars accommodations and amenities are pretty much the same, what separates them is the team of people who enhances your stay. For the entitled reviewers / visitors who expect perfect English…. How’s your Cambodian!?!

On any visit to Phnom Penh, my choice of hotel is automatic: Raffles Le Royal. From reception desk hospitality to guest room comfort/leanliness to relaxing hotel spa to spacious swimming pools, all is maintained at a five-star-plus level. Plus, the entire staff could not be nicer nor more professional. I spent 4 nights there in September and was delighted at every turn. I’ll recommend Raffles’ The Elephant Bar for entertaining. I will also call out the dining room for consistently super service and excellent breakfasts. My favorite? Pancakes, as whipped up by chef Sifa Coi. While I’m sure her culinary talents extend far and wide, I always compliment Sifa on making the best pancakes in Southeast Asia. Au kun cheraown (thank you very much) to the entire team at Raffles Le Royal Phnom Penh. See you again just as soon as I can.

This was the best hotel we have ever stayed at! From the BMW airport transfer with our driver Vanny, to being greeted at the door by name, all parts of the experience were amazing and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was exceptional in range and quality, offering the perfect mix of local, Asian, and western delicacies. We enjoyed two massages in the spa and the staff demonstrated great care and expert techniques, which left us feeling equal parts relaxed and revived. The swimming pool was oversized and a perfect temperature to lounge away a few hours, with poolside food and drink service at the press of a button. The luxury and comfort of Club Millésime was matched by the attentive and first-class service of Nikkole and his team. We enjoyed afternoon tea, nightly cocktails and tapas, and the staff assisted us with our every need. We enjoyed dinner at the Italian Restaurant - De Forni - where again we experienced service and hospitality that would rival the world’s best. Our room was well appointed with a large lounge area and bathroom. The balcony offered sweeping views of Phnom Penh and the daily housekeeping and turndown service made us never want to leave. And finally, the most memorable part of our stay was the staff, including Moni, for whom no request could not be met. This was the best hotel we have stayed in and as Accor Diamond members we have experienced some of the best globally. Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra is the best home away from home that you could want. Our only regret was that two nights just simply wasn’t long enough, so I guess we’ll be back again soon. I really enjoyed my stay at the Palace Gate Hotel & Resort. The location is perfect and the customer service was fantastic. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast offered was delicious and there was a nice variety to choose from daily. My son loved the pool. The hotel environment was relaxing which was much needed after being out during the day touring the city.

Chinese investment, very new hotel, so new that many facilities are not yet built. I booked it specially to experience it when I was on a business trip. There is a five-star sign issued by the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism in the lobby, and on the other side is the entrance to the apartment (I didn't look closely, but I probably haven't officially moved in yet). Let's talk about the advantages first: Most of the employees I met in the front desk restaurant can speak Chinese, and there are several Chinese employees, so communication is convenient. The room price is not expensive, the room is about the level of the all-season, very clean, with a balcony but the surrounding area is undeveloped, so there is no scenery. There are domestic TV channels and many international channels, and the food in the mini bar is not expensive. The infinity pool and glass plank road on the top floor are great for taking pictures, but the swimming pool seems to be unavailable. The restaurant on the second floor is basically Chinese food, and there are special dishes for a few dollars every day, which is very suitable for Chinese stomachs. Then talk about the disadvantages: 1. The room has a bit of a bad smell, not sure if it is a problem with the air conditioning system or the sewer, because I live on the 20th floor, it is probably a problem with the central air conditioning. 2. The shower room is too small, about one square meter, and fat people definitely can't move around. 3. I booked the room through Ctrip. When I checked in, there were some benefits indicated, such as welcome fruits for late check-out. Unfortunately, I don’t know what went wrong in the communication between the hotel and Ctrip, and it was not confirmed until I checked out the next day. Finally, I would like to give a suggestion to the owner: There are about 30 guest rooms on each floor, and it is roughly estimated that the hotel has more than 300 guest rooms. With this volume, there are only 1-2 employees at the front desk (two people at check-in and only one person at check-out). A deposit is required for check-in and room inspection is required for check-out. There is reason to suspect that if the occupancy rate is high, it will be too late to receive guests. When I checked in, I waited for about 20 minutes because some guests who checked out were arguing about the fee. The number of front desk staff should at least double to be enough to cope with it.

I’ve always admired Shangri-La as one of my top 5-star luxury international brands, so I was very excited about its opening in Phnom Penh. Unfortunately, my experience at Kommune - Dining & Social Space was disappointing and felt like a waste of money, even for $1. If you’ve visited Shangri-La properties like Sydney or Bangkok, you’ll notice a stark difference. The customer service here was unprofessional and far below expectations. As Khmer guests, we didn’t feel welcome there were no smiles or greetings, unlike the way Western guests were treated. It felt like we were there asking for free food. The menu was too basic, with no signature dishes or proper recommendations. When we asked, they simply said, Everything is delicious. The restaurant staff and manager were rude and lacked the professionalism expected of a 5-star hotel. Honestly, the food quality was worse than street food. I wouldn’t recommend dining here. Instead, Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra and Rosewood Phnom Penh remain far superior choices. That said, our visit to the Mekong Lounge and the guest rooms was much better. Mr. Barang, the Guest Service Manager, and Ms. Thida at the front desk treated us with outstanding hospitality. A special thank you to Mr. Barang for recommending Shangri-La tea it brought back fond memories of other Shangri-La properties like Sydney Australia. He truly made my weekend better. The rooms were beautifully designed and refreshing to see. However, the restaurant’s poor customer service overshadowed the overall experience. For a 5-star international luxury brand, service standards must improve. Until then, I recommend Sofitel and Rosewood as the best options in Phnom Penh.

The room was not in the hotel but in the 99% onsold apartments behind the hotel. No fridge and rediculous list on what the price was for everything in the room. Breakfast included but no coffee. The room is large enough with sofa and kettle. There is an outside pool and gym in the other building, onky one key which is not convenient as without a keycard you cannot get to the street. Asked for second key but not possible. On departure they took $10 from the deposit as one towel was dirty. It was dirty from the floor! Pitty I had looked forward to staying but service was more two than five star.
