5-Star Hotels in Florence

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service at The St. Regis Florence was exceptional. After my departure, I discovered I had left some items in my room. The hotel team promptly responded and efficiently coordinated the delivery of my belongings to my next hotel. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail exemplify the true St. Regis standard. I am deeply appreciative of their excellent support and highly recommend staying here.

The La Gemma is a wonderful place to stay in Florence. Staff was very helpful & gave us a nice upgrade when we checked in for our second stay there. They also put a bottle of chilled champagne in our room to celebrate my birthday. Also enjoyed the lovely spa & rooftop outdoor lounge area with amazing views of the city. Will definitely stay there again.

The service is perfect, the hardware is perfect, and the restaurant tastes good. The basic room type is spacious enough. However, the basic room type is not in the main building, but in another building, which has a seafood restaurant and a separate breakfast room. Of course, if you want to go to the main building for breakfast and dinner, it is no problem. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the main building. If you are too lazy to walk, you can take an electric car.

The location is very good, you can walk to the Uffizi, the Cathedral of Flowers, etc., very convenient. Because the hotel is located in the old city, the house is relatively old, but overall the experience is good.

First, the advantages: 1. Good location, convenient for travel; 2. Rooms are reasonably spacious and clean; 3. Good front desk service. Second, the disadvantages: 1. Not good value for money. I stayed at around 6000 RMB per night, similar to the Four Seasons I stayed at later, but the two hotels are completely different. From the lobby to the rooms, the breakfast quality, and the service, I personally think it's worth at most half the price. 2. The kettle in the room was 100 degrees Celsius outside after boiling water, with no indication of this, resulting in burns. I contacted Ctrip, and after their representative communicated with the hotel, they said this is common in Europe (utterly speechless… picture attached to show the size of the kettle and the ”groping hand”). 3. The hotel provided various consultation services, but then charged a 100 Euro service fee, euphemistically called a ”tip.” As a five-star hotel charging around 6000 RMB per night, providing some services is reasonable. If it's a paid service, it should be stated beforehand; otherwise, there will be unpleasantness at checkout. I will not stay at this hotel again. With this budget, I'd stay at the Four Seasons!

A historic five star hotel in the best location of Florence! Only 10 minutes ride from Florence main train station, wallking distance to major touristic attractions such as the famous Florence Cathedral, (Duomo), Ponte Vecchio or Piazza Signoria. The superior room was beautifully furnished, with clean marble bathroom! Amazing breakfast with fresh fruit, tasty pastries and a big selection of Italian parma ham! I would definitely book Firenze Bernini hotel again!

There are cockroaches in the room, the bathroom exhaust fan doesn’t work at all, and we informed the staff on the first day, but they still ignored it. Breakfast is always just two types of vegetables, monotonous, and with a very low cost-to-value ratio compared to the price. The toilet paper often doesn’t flush properly. It’s a hollow hotel that’s all show, pretending to be luxurious.

It's really good, the location is good, close to the train station, the restaurant is beautiful and comfortable, and the service is first class. If you have the opportunity to go to Florence again, you will stay with your wife.

From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were maintained throughout my stay, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, it does offer a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast spread was varied and catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I booked total 14 days for a same room, I just request make up room services 2 times only, that why my room face tissue and toilet tissue use finished, so I ask for more 2 boxes face tissue and 2 rolls toilet tissue, but a male room service staff don’t give and say need exchange one box face tissues for one roll toilet tissue and then I walk in complain this case with reception female staff, finally she give me back 2 rolls toilet tissue, but her attitude so bad sit say me wrong use words describe toilet tissue only, may I ask all room customer if case like this make sense or not? Original I gave them full mark comment for this hotel, now I trade back my original comment and give them lower mark comment first until after 2 days when I leave this hotel and they do back good attitude and improve for their service and then I will give back them good comments! I am very easy handle person just say actually things only!
