Tianmu Lake Hotel is located at No. 588 Yingbin Avenue, Tianmu Lake Tourism Resort, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a five-star hotel with Tianmu Lake in front of the hotel. The hotel has a good environment and is clean. The lake view room we stayed in faces the scenery of Tianmu Lake. The air is good. Standing on the balcony of the room, I feel comfortable looking at the landscape lake. Tianmu Lake Fisherman's Head Soup, which was first created by the catering department of Tianmu Lake Hotel, is a major feature of the hotel. This time I came here to taste it. The fisherman's head soup tastes good, and I also tasted other varieties of dishes. The restaurant waiters are thoughtful and worthy of praise. The self-service breakfast restaurant in the hotel has a good environment, facing Tianmu Lake, with a variety of breakfast varieties, and Western-style snacks are worth tasting. The waiters are enthusiastic and caring for the elderly and help them deliver meals to the table, which is worthy of praise.

We booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!

I should have stocked up on a few more room coupons, ugh. . . I saw several public accounts recommending Ctrip’s package for 999 for 2 nights, but there were a lot of bad reviews on Ctrip. It was a newly opened store and the hot springs were not equipped yet, etc., so I bought one at random. After all, it was below zero in Liyang on the Lantern Festival day and it was freezing to me. . Hurry to the hotel~ There are 2 parking lots in the hotel. The one further inside is equipped with charging piles and can also park gas trucks. The uncle in the parking lot is very nice. He watched us park and took us into the hotel gate, where the waiters inside continued to guide us. ~ Checked in at the front desk and got an upgrade. The big bed room facing the water is great. It has the same layout. I prefer this bright water-facing room. It is brighter than Zhujiajiao Anlu. I don’t know the relationship between Anyue and Anlu Amansa. [Silly laugh] They are all from generation An~ You can drink freely from the minibar, and you can refill it the next day~ The toilet comes with a washlet, and the hair dryer is from Dyson, and it comes with 5 heads, wow! The location of the bathtub is good. You can watch TV while soaking in the bath. The TV can be projected [strong] After we arrived at the room, we also had floor housekeeper Anna. She responded quickly to whatever we needed, and also introduced places to eat nearby. We tried 3 nearby farms and they were all good. The breakfast day is a weekend, so it is a buffet. The homemade yogurt is good, and the noodle stall is good, but the steamed food is not hot enough. Wonton noodles, etc., you can also drink coffee and milk for yourself. If you need a set meal delivered to the room, you can do it~ Since we didn’t know what time we would wake up, we didn’t bother the housekeeper~ Before leaving, I was given drinks on the way and a complete minibar. The new hotel is really hard work~ It’s really a great value this time. I wonder if there are other friends who have stocked up on Ctrip room coupons. Go use it quickly. It’s worth a try. The air conditioning in the room took ages to warm up. The electric heater in the bathroom, however, was a real lifesaver, especially since it had just snowed when we visited. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, but it was so cold that we didn't even dare to try the hot springs. Out of all the hotels I've stayed at, this is the only one that charged an extra fee for a room upgrade.

This trip, I brought my parents, child, and dog, and I have to give this hotel a 5-star rating. My parents thought it was very nice. There are many pros, as follows: **Check-in experience:** The room was very spacious and comfortable to sleep in, with an unbeatable view of Liyang. The facilities were complete, clean, and hygienic. It's pet-friendly, and the staff were incredibly helpful. **Dining experience:** **Breakfast:** The food quality was high, and there was a good variety. The duck blood vermicelli soup was delicious. The fruit selection was a bit limited; I suggest adding watermelon, cantaloupe, etc. **Dinner:** The hotel has a restaurant on the second floor. The 299 fish head soup set menu offers great value for money (bamboo shoot with pork, blanched shrimp, choice of 1 out of 4 vegetables, a 5-6 jin large fish head soup, black rice, fruit platter, plus a complimentary drink for checking in). **Travel experience:** - 15 minutes by car to Tianmu Lake Scenic Area - 25 minutes by car to the New Fourth Army Memorial Hall - 10 minutes by car to Liyang Museum EV charging is very friendly: - NIO has battery swap stations. - Tesla has Superchargers. - There are also regular fast chargers at 0.89 for a full day. **Pet section:** Dogs are completely free to roam. There's a large garden in the back for dog walking. Please be a responsible pet owner and remember to pick up after your dog. There aren't many cons, but I do want to mention the issue of not allowing children to use swimming rings in the pool. I think they shouldn't have a blanket ban, especially since it's summer, and most people traveling will have children with them. I suggest that during the summer, the pool allows children to use swimming rings.

On February 3, the sixth day of the Chinese New Year, I booked 3 business twin rooms, and 2 of them were upgraded to executive twin rooms. However, I was arranged in the two rooms facing the elevator. Fortunately, the hotel business was average, so there was no noise. In fact, the difference between executive and luxury is just more bathtubs and a few bottles of free drinks. The room is large and the facilities are very good. The bathroom has a slight odor, but it is fine as long as the toilet door is closed. The high floor where I live may also have something to do with it. I did not encounter the odor problem mentioned in the bad reviews. Objectively speaking, if I don’t take a hot spring bath, it is better than the Yushui Hot Spring Hotel where I stayed the next day, and the price is cheaper. The main reason is the geographical location. It is 50 minutes drive from Nanshan Bamboo Sea and 22 minutes from Shanshui Garden. There is a shopping mall nearby, so it is worth it to be farther away. There are many types of breakfast, and the taste is okay. The vegetables are salty, but it is worth the price. We added a breakfast for teenagers, which cost 28 yuan. The hotel’s Chinese restaurant is particularly good, with five-star service. The Ctrip group meal is very cost-effective. If you add a la carte dishes, the taste is good. Here is a suggestion: add a door to the bathroom area so that families with older children can avoid embarrassment. After taking a shower, you have to put on your clothes in the shower room before you can come out, which is very inconvenient. You can add a toothbrush drawer box to the basin position, and put the cups on the box. Don't put everything on the countertop, so where do you put the guests' clothes?

🛏️About the room: Booked a twin room, but the hotel only has 3 floors?! We were arranged on the 2nd floor facing the parking lot. As soon as the window was opened, there were cars coming and going. It was stuffy when the curtains were drawn. The sense of privacy was directly reduced to zero😅I wanted to change rooms but was told that ”all rooms are like this”. I couldn't bring two kids with me and had to make do with it... 🎙️Late-night horror moment: I never expected to run into ”classmates' reunion and team building for old uncles and aunts who graduated 20 or 30 years ago”! The uncles and aunts were still talking at 10:50 pm. The sound insulation was not good, and the experience was directly negative! 🍉Welcome gift was a big failure: I used points to exchange for ”Welcome Fruit Yogurt”, but I got a small tomato (one of which was rotten) + 2 cans of 100g Mengniu yogurt... Let's say that the points were exchanged for loneliness😓 💧The most confusing operation: The child needs warm water to make milk powder, and there are only 2 bottles of free mineral water in the room. I asked the housekeeper for 2 more bottles, but he said ”refills are charged”? ? ? The layout is too small🤦♀️ 🍳 Big disappointment in breakfast: It is advertised as ”rich buffet”, but in fact, children over 120cm are charged 68 yuan, but looking at it: biscuits, twisted dough sticks, three kinds of white porridge... hot dishes are like lettuce and cauliflower, with few choices and low value for money!

We originally booked an elegant standard room. I'd heard great things about the hotel's private hot spring rooms, and luckily there was a promotion when we arrived, so we upgraded to a hot spring room for a small extra charge. The room was fantastic! It had its own private hot spring tub and was on a secluded floor. Even the key cards were custom-designed, which was a nice touch. Service: Butler Dai Dai provided excellent service. I happened to mention that the black rice at breakfast was really good, and Butler Dai Dai overheard me and sent some up to our room – so thoughtful and attentive, highly recommend! Cleanliness: The room was spotless, the bedding was clean, and the mattress was super comfortable. The private hot spring tub water is changed after every guest, and the privacy was excellent. Ambiance: The overall hotel environment is lovely. The central courtyard's water curtain wall is a great spot for photos. Definitely recommend!

The place is great for families! I love the setup of the room- balcony and leisure area. They have outdoor activities like ATV, horse riding and kayaking which we enjoyed a lot. Breakfast has nice options, both Chinese and western food. Distance to Nanshan Bamboo Forest is close, and everything else is accessible from the hotel. If you want to go to Tianmahu lake, you can just get a coach nearby. Altogether our experience for 2 nights was lovely! We will book the same hotel when we visit Liyang again in the future.
