5-Star Hotels in Jiangmen

One of my German clients stayed at Wanda Realm Heshan and insisted that I help forward his five-star review to the hotel. Here is his review: ”Die Übernachtung im Wanda Realm Heshan war fantastisch! Das Hotel ist modern, sauber und mit liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Das Personal war extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und sprach hervorragend Englisch – meine Fragen wurden immer umgehend beantwortet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig mit internationalen und lokalen Speisen, alles frisch und lecker. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Bett sehr bequem und die Aussicht toll. Eine tolle Wahl für Geschäftsreisen oder Urlaub – ich empfehle es wärmstens weiter!”

Despite experiencing some night noise during my stay, the hotel staff were highly responsive and took my concerns seriously. They were proactive in discussing and offering a reasonable solution, demonstrating an excellent service attitude. The compensation package was quite generous, and the issue was ultimately resolved to my satisfaction. The hotel building itself has a unique charm, and the ancient town setting is beautiful. Overall, the experience was still decent.

When driving to Chikan Ancient Town, Liyuan, and Zili Village Diaolou for sightseeing, staying at the Tanjiang Peninsula Hotel is the best choice. It's not far from any of the attractions. The hotel seems to be an older 5-star establishment. The front desk staff were very welcoming and kindly arranged our two rooms together for our family, which was convenient for us to stay in touch. The hotel has plenty of parking, unbeatable river views, and a rich and varied breakfast. I'll definitely recommend Kaiping Tanjiang Peninsula Hotel to friends and guests in the future.

The front desk staff were polite, offered pick-up and drop-off service, and the hygiene was spotless with attention to every detail. It truly lives up to its reputation as the best hotel in the scenic area!

The room was incredibly spacious with a small balcony, offering excellent ventilation and an open view of the nearby villa area – a really nice scenic outlook. The bedding was just right, not too soft nor too firm, I slept soundly through the night, even better than at home. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, a smart toilet, and branded toiletries, giving it a very high-quality feel overall. The front desk service was efficient, the concierge proactively helped with luggage, and they were quick to respond to requests.

I've been here four times in recent years, and I used to really like it. It was a great place to relax and bring the kids. This year, I was a bit disappointed. First, the facilities are quite old and look rundown. Many of the arcade games on the second floor didn't work and ate my coins. The billiards table on the balcony was also unavailable, and there was only one anyway. Second, there were far fewer children's play facilities. They used to have a bubble machine, but it wasn't there this time. The outdoor swimming pool closed at 6 PM, and the water quality wasn't good. My child and I both broke out in small rashes the next day. Finally, the service attitude was poor. The lifeguards were unfriendly and kept scolding people. There was also someone in the gym, not wearing a uniform, who was bossing people around (likely just working out himself), telling us not to touch this or that. While the front desk and other staff were friendly, given the price and the condition of the facilities, it really isn't worth it.

The Goldmine Hotel is centrally located in the ancient town, making it very convenient to catch a show at the theater. The hotel has a children's splash park on the first floor, which is perfect for kids. Across from the hotel, the Modern Theater also has a children's playground on its first floor with slides and a ball pit. Our Super Wings themed room was right next to the water park, so it was a bit noisy compared to other floors due to the high foot traffic. Overall, the ancient town offers a fantastic array of activities; we couldn't even cover everything in our two-day-one-night stay. We'll definitely be back!

I brought my child here for a summer vacation trip. I found this newly opened hotel on Ctrip, and the swimming and hot spring facilities looked good. I knew there was a popular 'influencer' rafting spot, and it looked great, so I quickly booked two nights. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 PM. Even though it wasn't a weekend, the room wasn't ready. I waited for over an hour to check in. The front desk service was good, though; they offered complimentary breakfast, and the afternoon tea was also quite nice. However, the room itself was a bit disappointing. Although it's advertised as a new hotel, it's actually a renovated one. The room door is glass, so soundproofing is poor, and some facilities felt a bit old. The room view was decent. There were plenty of places for kids to play in the water. The surrounding area was still under renovation and construction, so it wasn't very clean. Eating options nearby were convenient. The absolute worst part was the breakfast. I understand it was crowded because it's summer vacation and there were many tour groups, but the breakfast was truly terrible – worse than what you'd get at some chain hotels costing 300-400 yuan. Besides the rice noodle rolls (changfen), I don't know what to say about the rest. Especially the fruit – is fruit really that expensive? Watermelon and cantaloupe slices were cut into two or three tiny pieces; it felt incredibly stingy. For a room costing over 1000 yuan, this kind of breakfast is really not worth it. This hotel seems more suited for elderly people for health and wellness. About 70% of the guests I saw were seniors. I'd suggest younger people look for other hot spring resorts. 😃
