5-Star Hotels in Jiangmen

One of my German clients stayed at Wanda Realm Heshan and insisted that I help forward his five-star review to the hotel. Here is his review: ”Die Übernachtung im Wanda Realm Heshan war fantastisch! Das Hotel ist modern, sauber und mit liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Das Personal war extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und sprach hervorragend Englisch – meine Fragen wurden immer umgehend beantwortet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig mit internationalen und lokalen Speisen, alles frisch und lecker. Das Zimmer war geräumig, das Bett sehr bequem und die Aussicht toll. Eine tolle Wahl für Geschäftsreisen oder Urlaub – ich empfehle es wärmstens weiter!”

The hotel butler contacted me in advance to inform me of the bed rail I needed, and it was already installed upon arrival—a particularly thick one. I was very satisfied with the room layout; there was a partition between the bed and sofa, so it wouldn't disturb my child's sleep while allowing adults to enjoy the night. The decor was also very new, and the room was spacious. The downsides were a slight smell of paint when I first entered, and mosquitoes at night; my child got bitten all over the face. Breakfast was at the restaurant of the Meitang Hotel across the street, which was just average. Overall, it's worth staying here, and I would choose this hotel again next time.

It was really pricey because of the holiday, but the interior design totally made up for it; the ambiance is great. However, I have to point out two things: 1. This is the most expensive hotel in the whole scenic area, yet there's no dedicated parking. Finding a spot was a nightmare (it's best to contact the front desk beforehand and ask them to open the back gate). 2. They seem to be understaffed, and some employees' service attitude was just so-so (though the guy at the door when we checked out was very good). And the person who showed us to our room didn't offer to help with our luggage once – it was quite annoying 😑. 3. The carpet in the elevator looked a bit cheap and ruined the designer's consistent style. I hope they'll replace it.

When driving to Chikan Ancient Town, Liyuan, and Zili Village Diaolou for sightseeing, staying at the Tanjiang Peninsula Hotel is the best choice. It's not far from any of the attractions. The hotel seems to be an older 5-star establishment. The front desk staff were very welcoming and kindly arranged our two rooms together for our family, which was convenient for us to stay in touch. The hotel has plenty of parking, unbeatable river views, and a rich and varied breakfast. I'll definitely recommend Kaiping Tanjiang Peninsula Hotel to friends and guests in the future.

The hotel boasts an elegant and tranquil atmosphere, with beautifully maintained and spacious public areas. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and impeccably maintained. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk and room staff are polite and friendly, responding to requests promptly and attentively, providing excellent and detailed service. The breakfast offers a rich variety of fresh ingredients. The location is convenient, making travel easy. It's perfect for both leisure vacations and short trips. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located right at the foot of Dayan Mountain, built to a five-star standard with extensive facilities and a garden-style layout. Big thanks to the front desk staff who upgraded our room. It was huge, about 100 square meters, featuring a separate living room, bedroom, and a bathroom with a soaking tub. Plus, there were two independent balconies offering mountain views. Since we visited on a weekday, it wasn't crowded, and we had a very comfortable stay. The hotel has a swimming pool and a well-equipped gym. The gym is open 24 hours, but it was unattended. The breakfast restaurant opens out to a large outdoor park with ducks, another outdoor swimming pool, and a lotus pond. The breakfast selection was quite good, meeting our needs without having to eat out. Dining options nearby would require a ten-minute drive. While Heshan doesn't have a wide variety of food, the ingredients are notably fresh. Overall, it's a very nice hotel. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

Facilities: The family room had a game table, tent, and stickers, all great for young children. Cleanliness: This could definitely be improved; the floor didn't look particularly clean. Service: Both check-in and check-out were quick, and the front desk service was good and prompt. Unlimited access for three to Chikan Ancient Town (with one child under 1.2m free): There are many activities in the ancient town, the fire show is definitely worth seeing, and there's also a baby playground that's perfect for kids.

The bedroom and living room are relatively spacious, and there is a large yard. The pool is on the lakeside outside the room. The room is facing east. The scenery is beautiful. It will not be sunbathed in the west. The pool is big and deep enough. The hot spring is a pure natural hot spring. Appointment, large amount, slightly salty, especially hot enough, it is too hot! Convenient parking, convenient transportation, there is a small village nearby, there is a local vegetable market, breakfast is delicious and cheap. The disadvantage is: the hot spring is really too hot. If you don't add frozen water, it will still be very hot for 3 hours, almost hot. You should set up a facility to cool the hot spring water for use. The bed and mattress in the room are of poor quality, cheap and hard. The furnishings are also lower-end. The pool is outside, the privacy is a bit poor, there are people renovating nearby, and you must wear swimsuits and swimming trunks. Located in a community, many similar homestays are not easy to find.

My hotel stay was fantastic! The room was so clean I could comfortably walk around barefoot. The front desk lady was incredibly patient, responding instantly to all my questions about directions and requests for items. They even offered a late check-out, which I really appreciated – the service deserves a huge thumbs up! The buffet had an insane variety, from hot dishes to desserts, and even the freshly ground coffee was incredibly aromatic. As a coffee lover, I drank until I was stuffed! This experience was totally worth it. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!
