Environment: Quiet and pleasant, far from the city's hustle and bustle, perfect for families or couples looking to relax and unwind.
Cleanliness: The accommodation and guest rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy.
Facilities: The rooms are fully equipped with high-standard amenities, and the building has an elevator, making it suitable for wheelchair users or elderly guests with mobility issues.
Service: Both the front desk staff and the dining service personnel are incredibly friendly. They even adjusted the meals to accommodate guests' dietary restrictions.
I traveled with my mother, who has mobility issues and occasionally needs a wheelchair. This guesthouse came highly recommended and praised by her.
The host and the receptionist are very kind and helpful. If you want to have a vacation out of town with families, this is the place that will fulfill your demands. For foreigners, you may use the app 'Gaode Dache' and choose 'Shunfengche' (carpool); the traveling fee will be cheaper than 'Dache' (taking a taxi) and more convenient.

Yew Leong CheeExceptional value for money and a truly memorable stay!
We were warmly welcomed right from the start with a complimentary pickup service upon arriving in Taishan. The kids were especially delighted with the thoughtful Zongzi Festival-themed welcome gifts and the free eSIM card provided for the stay— such a nice touch!
The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and very comfortable. The hotel’s central location is perfect, with plenty of dining and attractions just steps away.
A lovely surprise was the late-night “Starry Night Banquet” buffet, where the friendly staff kindly cooked for us. The breakfast spread was equally impressive — excellent quality and variety for the price point.
Special mention goes to Ronan Yan at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and resourceful. He went out of his way to give us local recommendations, directions, and tips that made exploring Taishan so much easier.
Overall, it was a perfect 24 hours. Highly recommended — we’d happily return!

Anonymous UserHygiene: The hygiene across the board was excellent.
Facilities: The toilet and bathroom facilities are all very new.
Environment: A comfortable room with no strange odors.
Service: The front desk service was great, attentive, and quick to respond.
I've rebooked this hotel multiple times. They offer afternoon tea at 2 PM with Coke, Sprite, and a small selection of pastries. Although the breakfast variety isn't huge, the fruit is fresh and there's plenty of yogurt. The service is quite good, and I'm very satisfied. On a less busy day, the front desk even helped upgrade my room, which was a thoughtful touch.

ShizizuodexiaoyuThe room service is incredibly efficient. Every time I called, the staff responded quickly and arrived promptly and politely. The room decor is unique and this hotel can definitely be considered a flagship Fairfield by Marriott in China. Whether it was restocking supplies or handling small issues, everything was done swiftly and thoroughly. Their professional and responsible approach, coupled with efficient service, greatly enhanced the comfort of my stay. Parking was also very convenient.

I had a very comfortable stay at Mandarin Elegant Hotel. The hotel has all the amenities a traveller would need. It is also near to the newest mall in the city and next to a river with beautiful walking paths. The staff were attentive and personable. Special call out to 熊管家 and 赵经理 who answered all my questions and attended to my requests. The service by all hotel staff is impeccable. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Tai Shan city.

The hotel is located within the park and thus we do not need to pay any entry fees and we’re able to walk around the park in the morning when there weren’t many tourists around. They also very kindly upgraded all our rooms to one with view & living room. The breakfast was great, with wide variety and ample seating spaces. There were also many cute ducks right outside the hotel (by the lake) for you to feed/play with.
The hotel also comes with 8 washers/dryers and gym was also very clean. We highly recommend this place!

Guest UserI chose this hotel due to its proximity to both my home and my grandparents' house. However, an event called the ”All-China National Games”, specifically a volleyball tournament held in Taishan - meant that most of the players were also staying here. I understand that this arrangement was likely due to government decision-making.
Nonetheless, this situation caused significant inconvenience to regular guests. For instance, delivery services (robots) were prohibited, and access to the self-service laundry was restricted. When I asked for assistance, a staff member stated, ”We don't do laundry for customers.” Only after I explained my inconvenience was caused by the national games did the manager offer to make an exception, saying, ”We will do laundry for you since you are a special case these days.” This reasoning is highly unsatisfactory. The reason I couldn't do my laundry was that I was denied access to the sixth floor, where the laundry room is located. If the hotel cannot adequately accommodate regular customers during such events, they should not accept bookings from the public.

Guest UserIt's so convenient to stay inside the park, plus they provide tickets. When you're tired, you can just head back to the hotel to rest. The hotel is very clean, and you can see the ancient town scenery right from your balcony. There's a good variety of breakfast options, which is quite nice. There's even a shuttle at the entrance to take you into the hotel park, which is very convenient.

Guest UserI had a pleasant stay at the Manley Hotel during my visit to Taishan. The service was excellent—staff were attentive, helpful, and made the experience feel welcoming from check-in to check-out.
The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options just steps away. Even if you need to head into downtown Taishan, taxis are easy to find and very affordable, making it simple to get around the city.
The breakfast offered at the hotel was great, though it’s worth noting that it’s entirely Chinese cuisine—something I personally enjoyed, especially for an authentic local experience.
The downside was the laundry dryer— There was only one dryer for 3 washing machines, it didn’t work very efficiently and took about six hours to dry a single load, which was a bit frustrating.
The Wi-Fi was also very unreliable, it would connect and then drop constantly. Even when it would work, the speeds would fluctuate.
Overall, I’d recommend the Manley Hotel for its excellent service, local charm, and convenient location.
