Highly recommended! This place is perfect for those who appreciate the history and culture of Kathmandu. You can walk to Durbar Square, and there's so much to see along the way – it's a very pleasant stroll. Just 50 meters down the street, you'll find several modern restaurants offering Chinese, Korean, Western, and vegetarian options. The hotel's own restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though be warned, the food can be quite strong-flavored and salty, so you might want to ask the kitchen to reduce the salt. The staff are all very polite and attentive, always looking out for your needs. The hotel manager is very welcoming and enjoys chatting with guests. When you book a taxi at the front desk, you only pay the fare, with no extra charges. The hotel has just been renovated and is very clean.

Great hotel near Boudhanath Stupa! It's easy to reach from the airport, and the breakfast is great. The staff are incredibly attentive and always happy to help. A nice bonus—they offer yoga sessions every morning to start the day off right. Also, great views from the higher floors!

A beautiful and charming boutique hotel with exceptional hospitality. We received a warm welcome, including a traditional bindi greeting, which made us feel special right away. The rooms were clean, tastefully designed, well-maintained, and had good water pressure. Service throughout the stay was excellent. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay. With low occupancy, it was served à la carte with a wide range of options. We ordered several items, and every dish was delicious and well-prepared. Special mention to Gunjan at the restaurant for his outstanding service, attentive, warm, and professional. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a comfortable, welcoming, and high-quality stay in Kathmandu.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel during my visit to Kathmandu. The property is beautiful and full of character, making it an excellent choice for travelers who appreciate traditional Nepali architecture and culture. The hotel has done a wonderful job preserving its heritage charm, creating a peaceful and authentic atmosphere that feels very different from a typical modern hotel. As an eco-friendly property, the hotel does not provide air conditioning or a refrigerator in the rooms. However, I did not find this to be an issue at all, as the weather was pleasant and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were outstanding. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and making me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was simple and fairly standard, without a huge variety of choices, but everything was fresh and enjoyable. The yogurt, in particular, was excellent and definitely worth trying. There was only one minor issue in my room: the ceiling fan seemed to run at the same speed regardless of the setting, so even the lowest level felt quite strong. I never mentioned it to the front desk because it was not a major inconvenience. The biggest area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi connection. Unfortunately, the signal was quite weak and unreliable, especially for anyone who needs a stable internet connection for work or communication. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The beautiful traditional design, eco-conscious concept, relaxing atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality more than made up for the small inconveniences. The area around the hotel is quite chaotic with many bars, but surprisingly, it was a comfortable place to sleep; very quiet and peaceful. I also really liked the decor. The linens were very clean. Highly recommended.

This is a newly built hotel, and it's rare to find such clean bathrooms in Nepal. It's located in a quiet spot at the entrance of Thamel, right next to the Garden of Dreams. While it's a bit far from central areas like Durbar Square, it's a great place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet at the hotel. Since it seems brand new, the room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was also spotless, so I felt very comfortable using it. The breakfast area on the 8th floor offered a lovely view. The front desk staff were polite, but during breakfast, I noticed other guests were asked for their egg orders, whereas I wasn't (perhaps because I had already taken scrambled eggs). Also, coffee (other than instant) at breakfast was an extra charge.

I had the most wonderful experience at Lo Mustang in November 2024. I came to Nepal for a wedding and Anisha at the front desk went above and beyond. Customer service was 10/10. I got recommendations for tailoring, jewelry, dry cleaning, and local dresses with transportation. Deepika, front desk manager, was fantastic always making sure my needs were being met and that my stay was comfortable. The hotel is in the perfect location with great amenities. I initially chose this spot because of the beautiful traditional decor. It was beautiful in person with murals on each floor. Breakfast is fantastic with a roof top view. I booked a second time on my way back home because it was so great. I traveled solo and left with new friends.

A great hotel in the heart of the Thamel district. Both the rooms and common areas are decorated in a national style, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The panoramic restaurant on the 7th floor is fantastic – delicious food with a diverse breakfast buffet and an extensive menu for other meals, including both local and European dishes. The hotel also has a very good spa, though it doesn't operate late into the evening. The staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend.

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times but it gets progressively worse each stay. The only good thing is the location, the fact that it is near the airport and it’s only good for international arrival passengers not for departures. As someone who had quite a heavy luggage and a morning flight, it sure was an excruciating workout to walk a steep ramp with a trolley full of luggages to reach the departure hall which is entirely on another platform compared to the arrival halls. I’d only recommend it to people who have lighter luggages, arriving passengers and/or people who have late night flights because a having a hotel near saves a lot of time . The rooms were fine but there were a lot of insects likes moths, even though all the windows and doors were shut close. The beddings had stains and the worse part was that there were feces stains in the toilet which showed that cleaning was not done properly, even though they made me wait 20-30 mins to just to check in after arriving at the hotel. The good thing is that the staff were very attentive, especially the man in the reception. He was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable.
