4-Star Hotels in Hamburg

A fantastic experience! The supermarket and laundromat are within walking distance, and the breakfast service was excellent. Breakfast included my favorite German and European pickles, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, crispy fried bacon, various honeys, a wide selection of breads, four types of yogurt, and a variety of fruits to add to the yogurt, as well as fresh fruit. There were also many unique juice options, and iced and sparkling water choices. A quick greeting from the staff allows you to bring your own coffee or hot tea to the smoking area outside (but remember to return empty cups to the restaurant).

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Hamburg - City Alster was absolutely superb. From the moment I arrived, the elegant and professional atmosphere was noticeable. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a incredibly comfortable bed and a fantastic view. The location is also ideal for both enjoying the beautiful Alster lake and accessing the city center. It’s the attentive service and premium amenities that set this hotel apart. I felt thoroughly pampered and would not hesitate to return for another luxurious stay.

Most of all, thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Weise, who are the most nicest and really polite, warmly service-mind staffs in Germany we've ever met. They really made our trip in Hamburg nicely staying there. The hotel, itself is not that much fantastic but still kinda standard of Accor. The receptionist on our day, one was quite not on nice behaviour but she made it equally to every one, with the voice tone not polite enough. Overall of service, other staffs were nice. Pillows must be improved, but ved was pretty good. Shower 🚿 was not that strong but not that bad. We've been at the newer one near hbf branch last year, so it's much different atmosphere. Overall the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Two points worth noting that guests should be aware of: 1. The curtain pocket (the part at the top that hides the curtain rail) is not deep enough, so plenty of light comes in around it. For people use to full blackout in bedrooms, this may be disturbing - especially when the sun rises in the morning. 2. As noted in some other reviews, the pillows are EXTREMELY low density. They are so low density, that there is close to zero support once lying on them and the weight of your head has compressed the filling (down I think). I fortunately brought my own pillow, however if I had not, this review score would be much lower as it would have made it difficult for me to sleep the pillows are so unusually soft/airy.

We felt very well at the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and the family room was very spacious. Unfortunately there were little settings in the bathroom and in the room (e.g. a closet or hocker) for our personal things. This would be desirable for four people. But we're happy to come back.

The location: The hotel is extremely centrally located. All major attractions are easily accessible. The highlight: The view from our room was simply breathtaking and unforgettable. The breakfast: The morning buffet was very extensive and offered a huge selection of fresh dishes. There was something for every taste. Conclusion: An all-around successful weekend. We will definitely come again!

Top-Hotel mit sehr gutem Restaurant. Vom Einchecken bis zum Auschecken habe ich nur sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal angetroffen. Mein Zimmer war sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Ich habe hervorragend in meinem Bett geschlafen, und es war nachts ausgesprochen ruhig. Das Hotel hatte es bereits bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt auf meine persönliche Merkliste geschafft.

This was our second time at the Intercity Hotel, because of the great price and super convenient location directly opposite the main train station with S/U-Bahn and bus lines 👍🏼. The breakfast room is a bit dated, but the staff were friendly and the breakfast was reasonably varied. Unfortunately, as in every hotel, the bathroom lighting was a disaster and the bathroom itself was very small. And of course, the parking fees of €25 per day… which seems to be the norm in all hotels now.

Location in front of the station and about 10 minutes walk from the center. Almost new structure and good cleaning of the room.

Hygiene: as always good. Environment: The location is as general as ever, and there are supermarket restaurants nearby. There is a fried fish restaurant, which is affordable and delicious. Service: as always good. Facilities: as always good.
