"Location is a bit out from the city center, but there is a station close by which is only a 10 minute commute! There is a supermarket near by, but not much else to be doing in the area. Decent kitchen, but mildly frustrating having to pay a 20€ deposit everytime you need a pot/pan/plate/fork, but no big deal at the end of the day."

"The location is super central. The main train station (Hbf), the shopping promenade, and Europa-Passage are all within walking distance. Jungfernstieg and the Inner Alster lake are also very easy to reach. There are at least three U-Bahn (subway) stations within a 5-minute walk, making it incredibly easy to explore the entire city with an HVV ticket."

Cafes around provide good food options for breakfast even in the early mornings. clean and comfortable room. Would be even better if a kettle/mineral water was provided (informed by staff that water is only provided on first day of check in). Would definitely stay in this hotel again"

"The hotel has a nice atmosphere and the room we stayed in was fine however I can't give it a full score due to the lack of an in room fridge. I inquired about this and was told only the suites have a fridge. This is a pity because customers pay good money for a nice hotel and expect basic comforts. I don't buy the line about it being for the environment, more likely a cost saving. If it was about the environment they could just turn the fridge off and let the customers decide. Apart from that everything was fine except there's no wine glasses in the rooms. Even an Ibis will have wine glasses."

"Please avoid this hotel. The location was awful, because the Berlin-tor station was under modification. The staffs were useless, couldn’t provide any help. The reception manager was very rude. The room is super small. All the light switches were out of order."

A shopping mall with restaurants, cafes, supermarket and shops is 10 min.away on foot. This hotel is a good choice for easy reach to the airpor without a vehicle. An U-Bahn stop for train to downtown Hamburg is 5 min.walk, it takes appx. 20-25 min. by train to the downtown."
