This hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious. Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them. The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

We had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay. We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi. We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier. Thank you!

We are very satisfied with this hotel. The room is very clean. The mattress is soft, and we had a comfortable sleep. Oxygen is provided in the room, and there is also floor heating, which is very helpful in the very cold weather and high altitude. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly, even though we communicated using a translation app. The hotel also provides free breakfast. For us as Muslims, bread, eggs, corn, sweet potatoes, and fruits are already sufficient. This is a good hotel for Muslim travelers as a stopover on the way to Daocheng Yading, as there are two halal Muslim restaurants within a 7–10 minute walking distance. Highly recommended.

The B&B is in the suburbs, but it is also very close to the downtown area of Kangding, and it only takes more than ten minutes to drive there. The hot spring has a strong sulfur smell, and the open-air hot spring courtyard is designed very carefully, which is not only beautiful but also private. The B&B gave us a private hot spring, and the pool was unexpectedly large. The courtyard of the entire B&B is also worth mentioning. There are many flowers planted, and it can be seen that they are all carefully maintained. Whether it is basking in the sun during the day or soaking in the hot spring, blowing the wind and watching the stars at night, it is very comfortable. We drove all the way to Kangding and got a truly relaxing stay.

We stayed at the leisurely B&B during our self-driving trip to Western Sichuan. The location was perfectly chosen, very convenient when coming from Jiagenba, and made for an easy trip to Tagong and Gulong Village the next day. It saved us a lot of hassle for our travels. The overall decor is modern and minimalist, clean and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. The value for money is truly excellent, affordable and pleasant. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, providing a great experience throughout. What truly stood out were the thoughtful details. Both the toilet and shower were equipped with grab bars, showing care for guests who might feel unwell at high altitudes and be prone to falling – a truly heartwarming touch. The room featured a full-house diffused oxygen supply, not just a separate oxygen concentrator, which was very effective in alleviating altitude sickness. Combined with the full-house floor heating, it made for a warm and comfortable night in the high-altitude region. The super-large panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an incredible view. We could admire the continuous mountain scenery without even leaving the room. The expansive view and beautiful scenery made every photo a great shot. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped, providing a top-notch living experience. Our overall stay exceeded expectations. Convenient travel, comfortable environment, thoughtful details, and unbeatable value for money. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Xinduqiao, and I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Western Sichuan!

Most amazing place to be in Kangding ! The view is awesome, the villa is very classy with a stunning view. The owner is friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Kangding.

We were driving from Tagong Grassland to Xinduqiao when we spotted this really unique hotel! ☺️ We immediately pulled over to check it out. The price was right, so we booked it online on the spot. The front desk lady was incredibly patient and super nice. She showed us a couple of rooms 😆 and the views from both were stunning. My sister ended up choosing the room with the curved balcony. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. My Apple Watch even showed my sleep quality score as 90! That night, it snowed – experiencing all four seasons in one day on the plateau is no exaggeration! The room had underfloor heating, so it was warm and not dry at all. For breakfast, my favorites were the steamed dumplings and the tremella soup. Just look at the pictures for the comparison! 😘 Snow-capped mountains, high-altitude lakes, prayer flags, and meadows were all within sight. We even encountered some falling snow along the way – that's the ultimate romance unique to western Sichuan. Encountering the most breathtaking scenery in the shortest amount of time. The facilities are complete, and the service is excellent. Highly recommend staying here!

I booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

When I first arrived at the hotel, fatigue from the long journey was written all over my face. Manager Zhang seemed to see through my tiredness at a glance. He came up to me quickly with a friendly smile. He not only arranged for someone to help me complete the check-in procedures quickly, but also thoughtfully served me a cup of steaming local specialty tea. The rich aroma of tea instantly dispelled my fatigue from the journey and made me feel good about this hotel. He personally led me to the room and patiently introduced the hotel's facilities and services to me along the way, from the restaurant's opening hours and dish features to the different types of pools and opening hours in the hot spring area. Every detail was explained in great detail, as if I was not a first-time guest, but an old friend who had returned home after a long absence. Walking into the room, the warm and comfortable layout is eye-catching. The decoration in the room combines the ethnic characteristics of Kangding with modern simple style, with harmonious colors and neatly arranged furniture. The bed is soft and tidy, and there are exquisite small ornaments placed at the bedside, demonstrating the hotel's pursuit of quality. After learning that I came to Kangding to enjoy the beautiful scenery, Manager Zhang specially prepared a detailed Kangding travel guide for me, which marked the location, opening hours and travel suggestions of famous attractions in the surrounding area, and even recommended some niche check-in spots that only locals know about. This undoubtedly added more surprises and expectations to my journey. When it comes to the core feature of the hotel - hot springs, it is even more praised. The hotel's hot spring area is uniquely designed, with indoor and outdoor pools neatly distributed among the garden landscape. There are many types of hot springs, including Chinese medicine hot springs for health preservation, flower petal hot springs for soothing the body and mind, and massage hot springs for complete relaxation. The water temperature is suitable, the water quality is clear, and it is rich in various minerals that are beneficial to the human body. Each hot spring pool is equipped with ample towels, drinks and comfortable lounge chairs, allowing people to feel the meticulous care while enjoying the hot springs. Here, I can relax myself to my heart's content, let the warm spring water soothe every inch of my muscles, wash away the dust and fatigue of the journey, and immerse myself in this tranquility and comfort. During the days in Kangding, the weather was changeable, sometimes sunny and sometimes drizzling. I remember one day, I had planned to go out for a trip, but it suddenly started raining heavily. Just when I was feeling a little overwhelmed in the hotel lobby, Manager Zhang appeared again like a timely rain. Not only did he provide me with rain gear, he also helped me re-plan the day's itinerary based on the weather conditions, recommended some attractions and activities suitable for indoor visits, and thoughtfully arranged for the hotel's vehicle to pick me up. His care and concern made me feel extremely warm and secure in this strange city. During my time at Kangding Hot Spring Hotel, I gained not only a comfortable accommodation experience, but also wonderful memories. Manager Zhang and his team use their enthusiasm and professionalism to create a warm home away from home for every guest. I believe that no matter how time passes, this hotel will be like a beacon, continuing to illuminate the way forward for passing travelers in Kangding, giving them the most caring care and the most unforgettable accommodation experience. The hotel is right on National Highway 318, which is very convenient for travel. The night view of Liuliu City is very beautiful, but parking is not easy. The store provides pick-up and drop-off services, which is very considerate! Children like the small playground in the hotel very much. There is a book bar on it where you can read books. The breakfast area is very beautiful, opposite the mountain. It feels great to have breakfast among the hydrangeas and mountain clouds!
