FFranz W.I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Tagong. From the moment I walked in, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As a pleasant surprise, I was even given a free upgrade to a room with a larger bed.
The rooms are brand new and beautifully designed. My room had a magnificent view over the grasslands, which made the stay even more special. Everything felt very comfortable and modern, and the shower was excellent. A particularly thoughtful feature was the built-in oxygen machine, which is very helpful at this altitude.
Breakfast was also great, with a tasty selection that included vegetables, fruits, and some sweets.
Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value for the price. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Tagong.

The owner was really nice and didn't try to upsell anything. They even had a large oxygen cylinder available for guests experiencing altitude sickness, free of charge.

RRuansuxianBecause we're very picky about hotels, worried about cleanliness and quality of sleep, we spent a long time choosing one. Luckily, this hotel was excellent overall! The decor was simple yet elegant, the room was very clean, and the facilities were complete, with full smart technology. The curtains opened automatically upon entering and turning on the power, revealing a breathtaking view. The owner was very kind and upgraded us to a room on the second floor for free. When we couldn't sleep due to altitude sickness at night, they brought us another oxygen concentrator because one wasn't enough! The view of the snow-capped mountains from the room was truly amazing! 👍

Wearing it while sleeping made me feel so much better, and I was able to tackle 4500 meters the next day with no problem. We booked two rooms, and luckily, they gave us connecting balconies, which made visiting each other super convenient, haha! 😂 I didn't take any room photos, only scenery shots.

GGuest UserI didn't have time to take pictures of the interior of the room, so the luggage was placed in a mess. It was the same as the pictures I saw when booking. There was no difference. Because of the altitude, I didn't have to take a shower when I checked in. But fortunately, the room had oxygen supply facilities, which is good in high-altitude areas. Very critical. The room price is not very cost-effective, but I personally am not used to staying in Tibetan-style B&Bs, and the breakfast here is very rich and delicious. Great location, pet friendly, highly recommended

It only takes a drive from the hustle and bustle of the city to the vastness of the plateau.
When the Zandanlin Snow Mountain comes into view, surrounded by clouds and mist, a small building with ******* style stands quietly in the center of the grassland - Zandanlin Ranch Hotel. It is like a secret place in a fairy tale, and also like the final destination of wanderers.
The moment I pushed open the wooden door, the aroma of butter tea wrapped in the sunlight hit me, and even my breath tasted like the sweetness of grass.
🏡 Room: A private gallery with snow-capped mountains
Every room is a ”Snow Mountain View Art Gallery”, and when you open the window, you can see a 360° grassland painting without blind spots:
• When the morning mist has not yet dissipated, the snow-capped mountains look like white lilies soaked in milk
• In the afternoon sun, the meadow turns into a flowing golden ocean
• In the evening, the whole pasture is gilded with rose gold, the yaks return to the pen, and the marmots begin their ”tea break”
The most wonderful place is the ”Sky Terrace”, where you can fall asleep with the Milky Way as your pillow at night, and be awakened by the first ray of sunshine and the ”good morning call” of the groundhog in the early morning.

Who says plateau animals are aloof? The groundhogs here have a ”social ceiling”!
• The first move: squat down, it will tilt its head to look at you, blinking its black bean-like eyes
• The second trick: Get some vegetables from the hotel, it will come closer to you and you can touch its round belly!
• Tip 3: Learn from the locals and shout “Ya Sou”. It may even stand up and bow to ask for snacks (don’t feed it too much, keep its wild beauty!)

GGuest UserThe room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The view outside was excellent. It's located away from the main road, ensuring it's quiet at night.
The facilities are quite new, and the toilet is an automatic smart toilet. There's underfloor heating in the room, so it's never cold at night. The windows can also be opened, providing good ventilation.
The front desk staff provided excellent service; she even proactively brought us water. The breakfast was incredibly generous and delicious—easily the best we've had so far on our trip to Western Sichuan. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was great.
The hotel was very clean. In Xinduqiao Town, where prices are generally increasing, this hotel truly offers exceptional value for money. I highly recommend it!

AAnonymous UserThe guesthouse was easy to find and conveniently located close to the city center. The place itself was lovely, spotless, and hygienic. The underfloor heating was incredibly warm – I didn't feel cold at all! The guesthouse hostess was incredibly warm and friendly. I'm usually a bit introverted, but her proactive greeting made me feel completely at ease. For breakfast, she served homemade porridge, eggs, steamed buns, and twisted rolls. The steamed sweet potatoes were exceptionally soft, tender, and sweet – so delicious I almost asked her where she bought them! Next time I'm in Kangding, I'll definitely stay here again!
