This is absolutely a hidden gem in Mingshi Countryside! Located directly within the scenic area, you open the door to stunning views of karst mountains and pastoral landscapes. The B&B has its own trendy cafe, which also doubles as the breakfast spot. Your stay includes complimentary afternoon tea, served amidst the mountains – it's both relaxing and picture-perfect. The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean, and bright. The rooftop infinity pool offers direct views of the peak forest; swimming there feels like you're merging with a landscape painting, bringing such a sense of peace. The hotel also provides bicycles, and cycling along the paths of Mingshi Countryside is just delightful! Breakfast is a refined set menu, with generous portions that are very filling. The butler service is meticulous and thoughtful; they even delivered a comforting late-night sweet soup. The B&B has an 11:30 PM curfew, which adds to the sense of security. The overall experience was nearly perfect, highly recommended!

The exterior is quite ordinary, but the guesthouse itself was a delightful surprise! Everything from the service to the small details was excellent. The kids loved playing in the water, and the outdoor pool was cleaned professionally every morning. We had dinner at the guesthouse restaurant, ordering Vietnamese food. It was a bit oily, but the flavor was on par with professional restaurants outside, and it even came with a mountain folk song performance. The A-wing of Ashu Courtyard has a really inconspicuous entrance sign; navigating to the nearby Zhuangxiang Waterfall Fish Restaurant is actually more noticeable.

Overall, it was a really good stay. In this area, it's definitely one of the hotels with a great location and excellent facilities. The room design is well-thought-out, and there's a beautiful view from the window, making for a very comfortable stay. The room comes with a washer-dryer combo, and parking is convenient right next to the hotel, which is perfect for those traveling by car. As for breakfast, it's a set menu and quite tasty. (I do want to mention the auntie who cooks the rice noodles at breakfast. When I asked her to add some blanched greens, she gave me a very sour look and said some rather unpleasant things. The day before, the owner was there and kindly added them. This auntie I encountered on the second day really left a bad taste in my mouth.)
