The room was new and clean, and the owners were very welcoming. The hotel is one of the few in Shuolong Town with an elevator, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of Vietnam; you can see the scenery across the river just by sitting by the window. Also, the hotel's private kitchen dishes were excellent. The food was delicious, with Vietnamese flavors, and we rated it a 7 out of 10 for the best meal of our trip. We will definitely stay here again next time we have the chance.

Shanyao Xiaozhu Guesthouse may sound unassuming, but stepping into the rooms is a pleasant surprise. First, the cleanliness is impeccable; the beds and rooms are spotless, comparable to a five-star hotel. Second, the service is excellent. The owner is very welcoming and responsive to any questions. When we couldn't find Yushui Dam while driving there, he kindly suggested we call him – a truly kind gesture. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, easy to find, and very quiet at night. It even has an elevator, which is rare for a guesthouse. The rooms are particularly noteworthy – each one is large and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the scenic area. I couldn't resist taking several photos. The curtains are automatic, the toilet is a smart toilet, and the bedding is excellent. There's also a table, two chairs, and high-quality toiletries, a hairdryer, and slippers. Having traveled extensively and stayed in various hotels of all levels and star ratings, I feel that Shanyao Xiaozhu Guesthouse offers a five-star experience at an economy price. All 14 of us in our group were extremely satisfied.

This stay is conveniently within a 10 minute walk to Dongnayuwan Scenic Area, which makes it great for rest after a full day of exploration. The hotel is very new. The bed is plush. Th owner is kind, attentive, and accommodating. The view in the room is such a treat to wake up to. I had a very relaxing stay.

Hey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!

It's situated right at the entrance of the Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area, literally just a few minutes' walk from the hotel to the waterfall entrance, making it incredibly convenient. The surrounding environment is equally impressive, with fresh air and picturesque scenery. Staying here felt like being nestled in the heart of nature. The service at this hotel is simply outstanding. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. They immediately offered to help with my luggage upon arrival and patiently provided recommendations for nearby attractions and local dining options. Check-in was handled swiftly, with absolutely no waiting time. Moreover, the staff proactively assisted me in booking tickets for the Detian Waterfall for the following day, which saved me a lot of hassle. Throughout my stay, any request I had was met with an immediate response. Their service attitude truly couldn't be faulted. As for the room, I stayed in one with a balcony. It was spacious, bright, spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The room was fully equipped with all necessary amenities: 24-hour hot water, air conditioning, TV, telephone, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. The Wi-Fi, in particular, was remarkably fast – perfect for streaming videos or gaming without any lag, which was a huge plus for someone like me who relies on constant internet access. The hotel also features a restaurant offering both Chinese cuisine and breakfast. The breakfast selection was extensive, including various porridges, breads, eggs, and more, all tasting quite good. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant serves specialty Vietnamese dishes that are both affordable and delicious, giving me a chance to savor authentic foreign flavors. Furthermore, the hotel provides complimentary parking, which is extremely convenient for guests traveling by car. The parking area is well-managed and secure, so there's no need to worry about vehicle safety. Overall, Daxin Detian Bianzhai Hotel boasts a superb location, exceptional service, comfortable rooms, and comprehensive facilities, making it an ideal choice for both tourism and relaxing getaways. If you're planning a trip to Detian Waterfall, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel; I'm confident you'll have a delightful travel experience!

Really lovely guesthouse in the Mingshi scenic area with very warm and welcoming owners. The area is quite peaceful and rural. They make delicious home-style cooking using rice and vegetables grown in their own fields, which you can see at the back of the building. We stayed here during our visit to Detian Waterfall, and also explored the Mingshi landscapes. The bus to Detian Waterfall passes through the village every morning at 8:30, so you can save some money on transportation to get there. Our hosts got us free entry to the Mingshi Tian Yuan park in the evening to watch the Zhuang ethnic minority performances. Usually it costs ¥80 entry. They lent us bicycles and it was an easy 5-10 min cycle there. Overall, highly recommend this place to other travellers!

Location of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

The hotel is right next to the fish scale dam, the location is very good, it used to take a minute or two, and the scenery outside the window is also very good. If it is more convenient to drive by car, because we are not driving by car, it is very inconvenient to go to the visitor center to eat by car. The original boss said that it can be delivered for free. The next morning, the aunt asked us to charge 5-15 yuan to send it to the visitor center by car. There are no restaurants nearby, there are stains on the sheets of the room that cannot be washed off, the pillows are a bit smelly, and the sound is generally soundproof.

The hotel facilities are very new and the location is excellent. Now many B&Bs in Haona and Bay are under construction. There are only a few B&Bs with Linhe Scenic Area View. This B&B is exquisite and the best-no trees in front of the balcony and the view is very good. 5 minutes walk from Haona and Bay Scenic Area. The boss is also very good, take the initiative to help with the luggage, and introduce how to play in the bay. Very good stay experience, it is recommended

Stay here! You can stay at the park gate. Drive up to it at night. Sleep here. He’ll go get your tickets in the morning for you and then you can be in the park at 8:30. You’ll arrive right as the people who have to bus in arrive but if you’re not in a group you can get ahead of everyone and enjoy the park and be on your way around noon
