The hotel has a small, inexpensive market where there are fruits. There are local shops. Four minutes from the hotel entrance, opposite the pagoda side, there is a very clean, inexpensive cafe-veranda with local cuisine. The check in is up to 40,000 chats for two. The hotel is very clean, it was recently apparently Japanese. The mattress and the mattress is new, the lingerie is good. The bathroom is good, the plumbing is fine. The TV is officially present. There is no noise from the street, because there are no establishments or shops around and the hotel is located sideways to the street. The reception was very friendly, they warned us about an early check-out in two days, prepared lunch boxes for us, called a taxi and were generally very nice. True, the money at the hotel does not change, as we expected, but we changed it upon arrival at the airport, although at a reduced rate, but we had money and this decision was correct - all two days that we were in Yangon were weekends , and all banks and other exchange offices were closed. We lived on the fifth floor, a nice spacious room with quality furniture. Very comfortable high bed, 4 pillows, which I always approve of. There is air conditioning, a safe, bathrobes and slippers. Cleaning every day, towels changed, bed linen changed every 2 days. They put a lot of supplies in the bathroom. The breakfast room is a little small, we came straight to the opening and did the right thing. However, there were a lot of people only on one day, on the second there was no one there, apparently the holidays were over and everyone had left. They give you local soup, different every day, noodles, fried eggs, toast, thoughts with cereal, sliced ​​fruit. Not very varied, but we got our fill.

A very good experience. The staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast was very generous. I would definitely choose the Mandarin Oriental Hotel again next time. The hotel offers a variety of room types, and the price and location are excellent.

I love to stay at Holly hotel becos the hotel is clean n service is good which I myself had choose to stay there for so many years. Is it ok every trip I book the Holly hotel tat I can have discount rate as I am a regular customer there?

For the price, it's perfectly fine. If all you need is a place to sleep, you can confidently book it. It's quite minimalistic. There's breakfast, but I missed it because it started at 7:00 AM, and when I went down, the restaurant was still empty.

Pretty varied impressions of the hotel. The hotel is located in the city center, no big problems to get anywhere. Most of the staff is friendly, but the problem is that only one of the staff speaks good English. Also the owner of the place speaks English. It happens that under one type of room with one name there can be 2 types of rooms: you can easily be given a room without windows, or you can be given a smoky room. I do not recommend to take breakfast, as it is rather poor for this price and the choice of dishes is not great. Do not think of giving your clothes to the laundry. A few things were in disrepair afterwards. Overall, a normal hotel with a good location and friendly staff, if you are willing to sometimes long to explain your needs or fight for the paid level.

The hotel is, of course, very old. There are some downsides, such as non-working sockets or lamps that don't turn on. On the plus side, the rooms are very spacious. But the main advantage, which outweighs even the downsides, is the hotel's location. It's a 19-minute walk to the Shwedagon weather station. There are a couple of shops and a cafe next to the hotel that works even when the lights go out. There's an improvised market where you can buy fruit. The bus stop is also 20 meters from the hotel.
