3-Star Hotels in Luoyang

Traveling during the Luoyang peony season, I specifically chose this designer hotel with a great rating of 4.9. Since it was peak season, the price wasn't cheap, around 600 per night, but overall, it was a good experience. The decor, mainly natural wood and cotton linen, gave off a very relaxing vibe. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to both my baby and me. They even upgraded us to a family room for free and had two storybooks ready, which my son loved. They also gave him a small water gun, which kept him happily entertained. The hotel's in-house coffee shop was a delightful surprise. The owner has excellent taste, and the decor is very stylish. They mentioned their coffee beans are imported, though they only offer pour-over coffee, which is definitely worth trying. There's also an accompanying restaurant; I really liked the overall decor and the food tasted great. As for areas for improvement, I'd suggest adding more noodle options to the breakfast spread. Also, the nightlight in the room was a bit of an issue – it would turn on every time I shifted in bed, which wasn't conducive to good sleep. I called the front desk, but since the engineering staff wasn't on duty, I just gave up on it.

I originally booked a room on the first floor, but since I was traveling alone, I was a bit apprehensive and switched to the second floor. However, the first floor would be a great choice during spring, summer, and autumn. The location is excellent and easy to find, making it super convenient to watch the 'Heavenly Maidens Scattering Flowers' show. All the staff are incredibly nice! The complimentary Wogan oranges were delicious – seedless, juicy, and perfectly sweet and sour. The milk was just what I needed for my latte. The air conditioning's heating was powerful, so those who get cold easily won't have to worry in winter. The only issue was that the hot water from the sink tap takes a very long time to come out, wasting a lot of water. If there's a way to improve this, it would be best to fix it. Also, I suggest that all rooms be equipped with high-speed hair dryers, as this is a growing trend. The '8' button on the room phone is broken and needs repair. BTW, it's not far from the main branch of Nanguan Small Bowl Beef Soup – that place is delicious! On a side note, yesterday when I was navigating to the restaurant, I ran into a staff member who was leaving work. She was super helpful, checking my navigation and giving directions; she even offered to give me a ride. She was really nice! If you're coming to Luoyi Ancient City, I highly recommend Luoyi Mansion.

Seriously, who knew? This B&B, with its cats, dogs, and even geese, truly brings the 'ideal life' right into reality! The courtyard is just incredibly relaxing; once you step in, you won't want to leave. The stone paths, gravel, and little green plants create such an amazing vibe. Every picture you take turns into a beautiful, calming scene. I have to particularly rave about these 'yard pets': the adorable blue-and-white cat loves to cuddle, the dog wags its tail asking for pets, and the little geese leisurely stroll around their territory. They’re completely quiet and well-behaved, yet they bring so much life to the entire courtyard. My daily joy was soaking up the sun in the yard and playing with the animals. I didn't have to think about anything, just enjoy this slow, leisurely comfort. The service was warm and attentive, and the room was super clean and cozy, making my stay feel incredibly safe and comfortable. This place has definitely made it onto my 'revisit indefinitely' list!

First off, I'm genuinely not a shill. This hotel is a hidden gem and was an incredibly comfortable experience. Choosing the family room was definitely the right call, it was so cozy. Both the environment and location are impeccable. The local food stalls right outside the door were all fantastic, not a single miss! If I ever go to Luoyang again, I'll absolutely choose this hotel.

This accommodation's location is excellent. First, it's newly renovated and very clean. The service is fantastic; any requests are immediately addressed, and everyone is incredibly polite. Secondly, the location is superb, right on Dongdajie Street. A short walk north leads to the subway entrance, which is very convenient. Since we were traveling with a child, we primarily used tuk-tuks and taxis, which were always easy to find. Downstairs, there's a small street featuring snacks, Hanfu makeup and styling, and boutique shops. A short walk east brings you to the North Gate of Luoyi Ancient City, where we watched the 'Celestial Maidens Scattering Flowers' performance. Walking west, you'll find Shizi Street, which has an abundance of snacks.

This hotel is right next to Qilihe subway station, offering seamless transfers between Line 1 and Line 2, which is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff, especially the lovely lady named Xingfu, was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has a great design aesthetic, and the thoughtful touches really show, like the separate wet and dry areas in the room. The bedding was also clean and hygienic. I'll definitely be back to stay here again.

The inn's facilities are excellent, especially the large bed and latex pillows, which provided a really good night's sleep. It's also super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the northwest scenic area entrance. Plus, the owner even helped with transfers to and from the bus station, which made our stay very satisfying.

The owner and the cleaning staff were really nice. There were complimentary water and drinks, and the hairdryer was excellent! The room was lovely, and the location was very convenient. It was also quiet at night, which was great for sleeping. The only downside was a persistent bad smell in the bathroom. The owner explained it was a backflow smell after the rain and kindly moved us to a better room. However, even in the new room, the smell lingered for two days despite no rain. The air purifier in the room didn't seem to help much. I'd suggest the owner look into optimizing the drainage system. Additionally, there wasn't enough storage space for luggage, which was a bit inconvenient for long-term travelers like us.

I genuinely recommend this hotel; the overall atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The rooms get plenty of natural light, and the cleanliness details are well-maintained. The mattress is just right, not too soft nor too hard, ensuring excellent sleep quality. The staff are kind and attentive, handling things meticulously and thoughtfully. It's very convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and excellent facilities. I experienced no issues throughout my stay, feeling secure and relaxed. For the same price point, the quality is outstanding. It's a perfect place to stay during your travels and definitely worth revisiting!
