The owner is so kind! She upgraded our room to one with a window view. The cleaning staff were also very polite. The entire B&B is incredibly photogenic; you can take stunning pictures just about anywhere. It's clear the owner has a unique and stylish taste. The natural, minimalist design with wood and stone elements is very comfortable, and I absolutely loved taking a nap in the room. When we checked out, they gave us a small gift, and there's bottled water available next to the elevator for guests to take. The stir-fried dishes at breakfast were super delicious, though it's a shame I missed them on the last day because I had to catch an early high-speed train. I hope to book this place again next time I visit Luoyang.

Dongdu Shisanfang Guesthouse (Lijingmen Cross Street Luoyi Ancient City Subway Station branch) is tucked away near Lijingmen, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area – simply wonderful! ✨ The guesthouse features grey brick walls adorned with lush greenery, and charming vintage details are thoughtfully placed everywhere. It feels effortlessly stylish yet incredibly welcoming. - **Kids' Play Area**: Perfect for little ones to read and play with toys. - **Photo Wall**: Adorned with photos, it records the wonderful travel memories of previous guests, full of stories. The rooms are clean and minimalist. The owner is incredibly attentive; they even provide cute disposable toilet seat covers. I have very high standards for cleanliness, and this place truly exceeded them. The bedding is comfortable, and the showerhead works perfectly! I particularly loved the wooden desk, which shows signs of age, adding to the sense of Luoyang's rich history even within the guesthouse itself! **Location & Food Advantages** 📍 The location is fantastic, close to Lijingmen and Cross Street. It's just a short walk to explore the ancient city on foot, and it's super convenient for taking photos in Hanfu (you'll see many beautiful Hanfu ladies!). The owner also recommends nearby restaurants, ensuring you avoid tourist traps. The food is not only authentic but also very affordable. We ordered a small portion of Hutumian and Jiangmiantiao for two, fearing we might not like them, but they were absolutely delicious! The portions were huge – we couldn't even finish them – and the total cost was just 26 RMB (11 RMB per bowl x 2, soda 2 RMB x 2). The lady at the front desk is also incredibly friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place! Breakfast was a bowl of Spicy Soup prepared by the owner. A warm bowl of soup in the morning really kick-started our new day of travel!

The location is great, very close to Luoyi Old City, and there's a snack street right outside the door, which is super convenient. The room was also very clean, tidied up nicely, and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. The service was excellent. The lady at the front desk was so enthusiastic and always helped us with our luggage. Before we left, she even gave us flower cakes! If I ever come back to Luoyang, I'll definitely choose this place again!

I originally booked a room on the first floor, but since I was traveling alone, I was a bit apprehensive and switched to the second floor. However, the first floor would be a great choice during spring, summer, and autumn. The location is excellent and easy to find, making it super convenient to watch the 'Heavenly Maidens Scattering Flowers' show. All the staff are incredibly nice! The complimentary Wogan oranges were delicious – seedless, juicy, and perfectly sweet and sour. The milk was just what I needed for my latte. The air conditioning's heating was powerful, so those who get cold easily won't have to worry in winter. The only issue was that the hot water from the sink tap takes a very long time to come out, wasting a lot of water. If there's a way to improve this, it would be best to fix it. Also, I suggest that all rooms be equipped with high-speed hair dryers, as this is a growing trend. The '8' button on the room phone is broken and needs repair. BTW, it's not far from the main branch of Nanguan Small Bowl Beef Soup – that place is delicious! On a side note, yesterday when I was navigating to the restaurant, I ran into a staff member who was leaving work. She was super helpful, checking my navigation and giving directions; she even offered to give me a ride. She was really nice! If you're coming to Luoyi Ancient City, I highly recommend Luoyi Mansion.

This is a good choice when I made my booking to an unknown city. Location wise so near to main attraction such as Louyang Ancient City. It does not sit exactly in the main street so you have to walk a bit roughly 200m inside. With luggage maybe found bit difficulty as uneven stone pathway to the hotel. Though this should not dampen your mood for staying here. I got ground floor. I guess those without balcony were given groud floor. It have high floor to ceiling window/sliding door facing the main pathway. Can't really open the curtain then everyone pass though will see you. Upper floor should not have this issue. There this side upright chair/cusyen where one can just sit and lounge around eating all the snack one just bought outside the street. TV is big I do not have time to watch any. I think tis the subscription version. All necessary amenities is available. 🤷 There's washing machine but only operational 10am to 10pm and I didn't have time to use it. Ground floor may have issue with sound as I can hear upstairs things moving around but I'm so tired from all day walk so this just temporary nuisance. All in all I highly recommend this place if the area you intended to visit is around the hotel.

Meets the introduction. It has a sense of design and a good location, just behind the entrance to the underground garage in the ancient town. But the price/performance ratio is really average. This cost-effectiveness is reflected in three aspects. First, the price is really expensive. The newly opened Marriott is only 720 a night. Second, the ancient town is really average. It is a costume photography base. There are few stores, and half of them are under development. I am really worried about Luoyang’s infrastructure. Suitable for young couples and girls. It doesn't make much sense for parents and children, especially boys, to live here. Third, the hardware is okay, but the software details are so-so. For example, the breakfast is very low. Compared with the other two hotels I stayed in, the service and catering services are incomparable.

The owner and the cleaning staff were really nice. There were complimentary water and drinks, and the hairdryer was excellent! The room was lovely, and the location was very convenient. It was also quiet at night, which was great for sleeping. The only downside was a persistent bad smell in the bathroom. The owner explained it was a backflow smell after the rain and kindly moved us to a better room. However, even in the new room, the smell lingered for two days despite no rain. The air purifier in the room didn't seem to help much. I'd suggest the owner look into optimizing the drainage system. Additionally, there wasn't enough storage space for luggage, which was a bit inconvenient for long-term travelers like us.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The entire lobby is stunning, and there's a lovely coffee aroma. The front desk staff mentioned that both coffee and floral tea are complimentary. It's also super convenient for getting around, just 200m from the subway station. Plus, there's a supermarket and Peony Plaza right next door. The hotel breakfast is plentiful and very fresh. The whole room was spotless, no corner missed, and incredibly clean. The bedding was so soft and skin-friendly, making for a truly wonderful night's sleep. The front desk service was efficient, warm, and very thoughtful. The value for money here is outstanding, I'll definitely be back – it truly enhanced my trip!

What impressed me most about this stay was the cleanliness of the room! It was spotless, the floors were sparkling, and even the often-overlooked areas like under the sofa and the nightstands were thoroughly cleaned. The toiletries were neatly arranged, there was no limescale in the toilet or shower area, and I felt completely comfortable walking barefoot on the carpet. Besides the impeccable hygiene, the hotel's location is fantastic; the scenic shuttle bus stops right outside, which saved a lot of time and effort. Plus, the staff were warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

The room was great, and the front desk staff even helped upgrade our room type. It was a shame I didn't get admitted to China University of Mining and Technology back in 2019, especially since they had the alumni association sign right at the hotel entrance, haha. From the hotel's rooftop, you can enjoy a beer and the breeze while admiring Mingtang, Tiantang, and Yingtianmen. The breakfast was also plentiful, especially with lots of *huladong* (spicy soup) and beef. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
