3-Star Hotels in Baotou

I brought my kids to Baotou for the May Day holiday. The front desk thoughtfully upgraded the twin rooms so that the kids wouldn't fall to the ground when they were put together. The room was very good, probably because it was new, so it was very clean. The mattress was especially comfortable, and the pillow was the same memory pillow as the one at Atour. The waitress who was responsible for cleaning the room also washed my socks, which was so touching. Will come again if have the chance.

It is one of the few unconditional pet-friendly hotels in Baotou. I like it and hope to have this business all the time. The room is a suite, very bright, each room has air conditioning and TV, so it is very good not to disturb each other. There is an exclusive parking lot in the backyard, and there are also staff on duty, very safe. The hotel is equipped with a laundry room for guests to wash and dry. Opposite is the People's Park, exercise and walking dogs are good choices. The staff is very hospitable, take the initiative to say hello, and the security guard is also very talkative. There are many restaurants around, and the clerk recommended our Jiuqu Hotel, which is really delicious. I recommend everyone, especially people who bring pets to travel to check in the hotel.

My partner and I chose the Donglin Lisha Hotel for our recent trip to Baotou, and the experience was fantastic! The room was fully smart-equipped, with voice-controlled lighting and curtains, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The Mengbaihe Zero Pressure Bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept soundly until morning without feeling tired at all. The cleanliness was impeccable, even the corners were spotless. The receptionist was also very attentive, proactively upgrading our room and even providing us with some snacks. The location is also very convenient, close to the train station, making getting around super easy. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Baotou, and I highly recommend it to couples!

Service: The front desk was very nice. Seeing that we were with our children, they were very considerate and arranged a more suitable room (of course, if there were available rooms). Hygiene: The room was very clean The breakfast was great. If you have any needs, you can tell the staff and they will do their best to meet the guests' requirements. Especially during the May Day holiday, when there was a lot of traffic, the breakfast was really good. Finally, when I checked out, I was given 3 masks, which was really thoughtful.

The dining experience was also outstanding; every meal was delicious, with fresh ingredients that left a lasting impression. Every single staff member here was attentive and patient, always smiling, and went out of their way to meet guests' needs, making our trip even more enjoyable. Check-out was smooth, and the overall experience was very satisfactory. The hotel environment was elegant, the cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were complete and in good working order. The front desk service was friendly and courteous, and efficient. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, making it convenient for travel and dining. This hotel gave us the most unbelievable, heartwarming stay we’ve ever had, and I truly cannot praise the hotel management enough their service is absolutely unmatched, no exaggeration at all! We were fully worried about how tricky it would be to find and reach the hotel at first, expecting a stressful journey navigating the area. But the management team stepped up with incredible kindness, extreme accommodation and genuine hospitality from the very second we contacted them before arrival all the way through check-in, our entire stay, and even our check-out moment near the hotel entrance. Every single member of the management team treated us like beloved family, not just random paying guests. There was zero cold, robotic hotel service here—they cared about every small worry we had, offered help without us even asking, and always greeted us with warm, sincere smiles. During our whole trip here, we never once felt like we were far away from our own home; their thoughtful, wholehearted care wrapped us in comfort the entire time we stayed. PLUS the views were outstanding! From the start of our trip to the minute we packed our bags and left the hotel, their thoughtful support never wavered. This level of genuine, heartfelt hospitality is extremely rare to find anywhere. If you want a hotel that doesn’t just give you a room, but makes you feel welcomed and loved like family, this is the one you absolutely must book without hesitation. We will 100% come back on our next trip and strongly recommend this accommodation to every traveller looking for warm, flawless service!

All resorts are remote from Hohhot, so we took a Didi from Hohhot to the resort. It took 1:50 hours. They resort itself is really nice. The yurts are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of activities that you can do around the resort. Just talk to the service people. We did horse riding, go car, saw a Mongolian show and every evening there is a fire show at the resort. A worker drove us to the activities. The food at the restaurant was a bit pricey but high quality.

Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good. That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. I really enjoyed my stay here!! The yurt was spacious, the design was a bit old-fashioned and basic but everything was functional. The activities were explained together with their price. I just chose the dinner and it was great. Samples of traditional meals, dances and the unique throat singing,and one could even wear the traditional clothes. Very touristy but fun!The other resorts are quite nearby tho so it wasnt as deserted as I was expecting but still gives one an idea of the grassland atmosphere. The staff was amazing! They took extraordinary care of me. They picked me up on the bus stop even without me requesting it and the next day drove me to the nearest town when the roads got flooded and the buses wouldn't come.They did it for free and my entire stay were really friendly and trying to make me feel welcome 😊
