3-Star Hotels in Baotou

My partner and I chose the Donglin Lisha Hotel for our recent trip to Baotou, and the experience was fantastic! The room was fully smart-equipped, with voice-controlled lighting and curtains, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The Mengbaihe Zero Pressure Bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept soundly until morning without feeling tired at all. The cleanliness was impeccable, even the corners were spotless. The receptionist was also very attentive, proactively upgrading our room and even providing us with some snacks. The location is also very convenient, close to the train station, making getting around super easy. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Baotou, and I highly recommend it to couples!

The room is spacious and bright. Clean and sanitary, rich and delicious breakfast, enthusiastic waiters with gifts, and many things to buy. I will come again next time I am on a business trip.

This is a very good hotel in all aspects, including the service attitude of the front desk and other staff. It is a hotel worth staying in. The price-performance ratio is very high, and I can give a very high evaluation. When I checked in in the morning, the front desk lady helped me upgrade the room type for free, but it is not just because of the upgrade that the hotel itself deserves five stars in all conditions. Facilities: The sound insulation is slightly poor, and other facilities are complete. Hygiene: I stayed for many nights and they helped to change the quilt. Only once did I find a used TT packaging bag. However, the overall hygienic conditions in Baotou are very good. Environment: The room decoration is European style and not bad. Service: I am really touched that a hotel at this price has service. Let's try it. The rating can still explain some problems.

Traveling with colleagues to share the room, the twin room experience exceeded expectations! The distance between the two beds is reasonable, and the work and rest are different and do not affect each other. The room is equipped with a table and WiFi, and the processing work is very smooth at night. The mattress is moderately firm and the pillow height is just right. You can sleep well for a busy day. Start a full day. First choice for business travel!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel staff provided exceptional service, they were incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The hotel environment was spotless and well-maintained, our room was pristine, and we had a very comfortable stay. The dining experience was also outstanding; every meal was delicious, with fresh ingredients that left a lasting impression. Every single staff member here was attentive and patient, always smiling, and went out of their way to meet guests' needs, making our trip even more enjoyable. Nice stay, food is available for morning, lunch, dinner extra activities: - go kart - horse riding - dancing and singing from locals during lunch/dinner a performance show available close to here, the owner can sell you the tickets for 140 instead of 280 from the ticket office. sometimes you don’t have warm water, so it might be a bit difficult during winter.

This hotel gave us the most unbelievable, heartwarming stay we’ve ever had, and I truly cannot praise the hotel management enough their service is absolutely unmatched, no exaggeration at all! We were fully worried about how tricky it would be to find and reach the hotel at first, expecting a stressful journey navigating the area. But the management team stepped up with incredible kindness, extreme accommodation and genuine hospitality from the very second we contacted them before arrival all the way through check-in, our entire stay, and even our check-out moment near the hotel entrance. Every single member of the management team treated us like beloved family, not just random paying guests. There was zero cold, robotic hotel service here—they cared about every small worry we had, offered help without us even asking, and always greeted us with warm, sincere smiles. During our whole trip here, we never once felt like we were far away from our own home; their thoughtful, wholehearted care wrapped us in comfort the entire time we stayed. PLUS the views were outstanding! From the start of our trip to the minute we packed our bags and left the hotel, their thoughtful support never wavered. This level of genuine, heartfelt hospitality is extremely rare to find anywhere. If you want a hotel that doesn’t just give you a room, but makes you feel welcomed and loved like family, this is the one you absolutely must book without hesitation. We will 100% come back on our next trip and strongly recommend this accommodation to every traveller looking for warm, flawless service!

All resorts are remote from Hohhot, so we took a Didi from Hohhot to the resort. It took 1:50 hours. They resort itself is really nice. The yurts are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of activities that you can do around the resort. Just talk to the service people. We did horse riding, go car, saw a Mongolian show and every evening there is a fire show at the resort. A worker drove us to the activities. The food at the restaurant was a bit pricey but high quality.

That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. I really enjoyed my stay here!! The yurt was spacious, the design was a bit old-fashioned and basic but everything was functional. The activities were explained together with their price. I just chose the dinner and it was great. Samples of traditional meals, dances and the unique throat singing,and one could even wear the traditional clothes. Very touristy but fun!The other resorts are quite nearby tho so it wasnt as deserted as I was expecting but still gives one an idea of the grassland atmosphere. The staff was amazing! They took extraordinary care of me. They picked me up on the bus stop even without me requesting it and the next day drove me to the nearest town when the roads got flooded and the buses wouldn't come.They did it for free and my entire stay were really friendly and trying to make me feel welcome 😊
