No matter what time you went, something was always out of stock, and the food itself just wasn't good. The live cooking station was understaffed and couldn't keep up, and even when food was prepared, it wasn't tasty. I have stayed in Atour in different cities for an estimated 20+ times. I have also stayed in this Atour in 2021. At the moment of writing this comment, I am also living in Atour in Luliang. I still trust the brand of Atour, but I hope that I can decisively solve and improve the problems encountered, and the brand can get better and better. The following description is purely subjective and personal. If you have any questions, you can completely refuse to believe it. A total of 2 large beds and 1 twin bed were booked for this trip. There are elderly people, and the rooms need to be arranged on the same floor for easy care. Therefore, after receiving the reservation confirmation SMS, I immediately called the hotel to explain the special needs of arranging the twin bed room for the elderly and our large bed room on the same floor, and explained that we might arrive at the store late at night, and I was afraid that it would be difficult to arrange at that time, so I called specifically. At that time, the reply on the other end of the phone was yes. Before hanging up, I also confirmed again that I hoped the front desk would help to make a note. The call time was 13:59. Around 22:15 that night, after we arrived at the hotel, the front desk replied that it was impossible to arrange twin beds and large beds on the same floor. When asked why, the answer was that many guests had renewed their reservations for twin rooms during the May Day holiday. I said that I had called to confirm in the afternoon, but the answer I got was that it could not be arranged. I had no choice but to continue checking in, and I heard that the front desk arranged a staff member to check the twin room I was staying in. This was the first time I encountered this at Atour. I asked the front desk why I needed to check the room? The front desk ignored it. The waiting time for check-in was very long. After the card was made, the ID card and room card were placed in front of me and I left to work next door. I didn't say whether the guests needed to continue waiting or they could check in, not to mention breakfast and Wi-Fi and other check-in reminders. Later, the faucet in the large bed room I stayed in was leaking, and I almost slipped, so I changed rooms later. The hair dryer in another large bed room was broken. I called the front desk many times, and the hair dryer was delivered at least 30 minutes later. The old interior decoration of the hotel is also a problem. Regarding the above statements: 1. For a hotel with 140 rooms, at 2 pm, the guest basically confirmed to check out or extend his stay, and the check-out room was basically cleaned up. I cannot believe that the hotel cannot arrange a room on the same floor, and I have already received a phone confirmation (the call was made through Ctrip, and Ctrip should have a recording). I cannot accept the reasons given by the hotel. 2. The service attitude of the front desk is completely not up to the level of Atour, at least it can't even smile and entertain guests, not to mention that I ignored my questions when I expressed doubts about the temporary room inspection. 3. Regarding the temporary room inspection, if the hotel really had confirmed the room when I called at 2 pm, then there would definitely not be the problem that the hotel could not confirm whether the room met the check-in conditions at 10:15 pm. Based on this, I can also think that my communication with the hotel in the afternoon was completely ignored, and this double bed was arranged temporarily at that time. 4. Because of this temporary room check, the check-in time of the guests was delayed for a long time, and the guests were not informed of the reason. After the room card was issued, the guests were left aside. During the May Day holiday, it is understandable that the front desk was busy, but there was not even a smile to the guests and a word like "please wait a moment". Is it really a loss of level? Not to mention the check-in reminders that should have been given to guests. 5. The inadequate maintenance of room facilities is also reflected in the two large bed rooms, as well as the walls and carpets on the check-in floor. As an Atour customer, I once said to my friends, "The peace of mind that Atour gives me is that you don't have to care about the opening year of the hotel. No matter how old Atour is, you can stay without thinking." I was slapped in the face in Baotou. The above series of problems are completely acceptable if it is a low-end chain hotel, but this is definitely not the level of Atour. In summary, the management company of Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Atour Hotel needs to reflect on whether there are serious management defects. If it is a big deal, Atour Group also needs to reflect on whether the quality control management and supervision mechanism of its hotels is in place.
