3-Star Hotels in Antu

Traveling to Changbai Mountain with my family, I didn't want to stay in a traditional hotel and unexpectedly found 'Mountain with a Pool'. I booked two rooms with a 'let's give it a try' attitude, and this niche B&B kept earning my praise with every interaction. First bonus point: After connecting, the owner sent incredibly detailed guides for check-in, dining (we tried all their recommendations and they were absolutely delicious!), and sightseeing, even down to the time for the local market. And it was definitely not a typical tourist trap! Second bonus point: The hotel's location is superb, right near the North Slope's tourist hub, without any complex commercial areas around. It's a detached building nestled among smaller structures. Third bonus point: The design and aesthetics are top-notch! I absolutely loved the comfortable furnishings and the soft decor in sophisticated colors. Every photo turned out amazing! Fourth bonus point: The rooms were not only clean and tidy, but also full of thoughtful details like earplugs, eye masks, makeup remover wipes, soda water, and birch juice. Every detail showed the owner's care. Fifth bonus point: The meals were simple, clean, and nutritious, and the drinks at the bar were never subpar. The latte art on the hot chocolate was beautiful every single time. Sixth bonus point (a big one!): This goes to every member of the B&B staff. They spoke softly to every child, and most remarkably, their service had excellent boundaries. They never intruded on guests but were always responsive to requests. I'll keep it brief, but if I ever get the chance to go to Changbai Mountain again, I will definitely choose this B&B. Looking forward to seeing you all next time! Wishing you continued success!

Overall, we had a great stay despite a small hiccup with the pickup due to hotel staff turnover and miscommunication. The hotel room was amazing and super well designed with great amenities, it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks in Dongbei. Even though we didn’t book breakfast, the boss gave us free breakfast to comepensate for the poor experience we had with the pickup from the high speed rail (I would strongly recommend giving them a call to confirm the pickup rather than communicating through WeChat). The breakfast was super tasty and has lots of different side dishes (not saying this because it’s free lol), would definitely recommend. We were there during NYE and NY, and seems like people in the neighbourhood really liked fireworks. We probably saw fireworks 8 -9 times during our 3 days stay (including one from our host), super lucky! The local restaurant the host recommended was very tasty as well (not touristy so be prepared for a raw experience), food was great and fried eggs is a must try. The only issue with staying in this area was transport if you don’t have a driver for your stay in Changbaishan (which is a well known issue for all hotels in this area). Getting a cab took about an hour… after constant failing, the boss was so nice that she tried to call all her friends to see if they were available to drive us to the restaurant and we got there at the end!!!! 谢谢老板和老板娘的烟花还有小礼物，我们玩得特别开心！

Not far from the high-speed rail station, with shuttle service. The driver was very friendly, and all the staff at the hotel were great, always greeting us with a smile. The hotel has a canteen for breakfast, and there are also restaurants and a supermarket nearby, making it very convenient. This time we chose a loft room, which was very spacious, with a bed for each of the three of us – super comfortable! No mosquitoes, very clean, and all facilities and amenities were provided, even disposable paper cups. Their hairdryer was excellent. The hotel is also close to Meiren Song Sculpture Park and the Skywalk, which are definitely worth a visit as the scenery is beautiful. If you're not in a hurry, you could easily spend half a day exploring there. 💗

The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a short walk up a slope from the back entrance to the Chibei District Tourist Distribution Center, making it very convenient for visiting Tianchi Lake. The hotel has ample parking, which is great for self-driving travelers. The hotel also has strong integrity, offering unconditional room upgrades to Ctrip's high-tier members. The hotel restaurant offers local specialties, saving you the trouble of searching for authentic local cuisine, and the prices are reasonable. The hotel employs various marketing strategies, such as online live streaming. I sincerely suggest that during live streams, they should promote rooms based on actual availability. Otherwise, asking current guests to vacate their rooms can be quite awkward. Furthermore, business thrives on sincerity; falsely claiming an upgraded room is better when it's actually worse is really unacceptable.

For my trip to Changbai Mountain, I chose the Jiyue Shanjie Hotel. The hotel's location and transportation are quite good, it's about a 10-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain North Slope distribution center. We booked a superior twin room, which had one double bed and one single bed, accommodating three people. The hotel's hygiene was well-maintained, though we did have to remind the front desk for daily cleaning during our extended stay. Breakfast was served at the neighboring Manyue Hotel, which is reportedly under the same ownership. The buffet breakfast was decent. The hotel offers butler service. With advance booking, they provide pick-up and drop-off services to the high-speed rail station. They also have private car or shared car services for other attractions. However, sometimes arrangements couldn't be made, and we weren't informed promptly, which is something I hope they can improve upon. Regarding the price, I stayed in a superior twin room in early February. I booked it about 10 days in advance, and it cost around 450 RMB per night, which was a bit pricey.

The front desk staff were excellent; they happily provided water whenever I asked, which was great since it was so dry and I drank a lot. They even gave me extra water when I checked out the next day. This place is much better than where I stayed the previous two nights. The room was very new, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom – totally awesome! The room was also very spacious, and the overall experience was fantastic! In the evening, the front desk lady even helped me find a parking spot. I do think not having their own parking lot is a drawback, but it's a minor issue that doesn't overshadow the many positives.

I stayed for three days and had a good experience. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Erdaobaihe, but it's perfect for self-driving tourists. There's a market nearby where you can easily buy small apples, other fruits, cold noodles (liangpi), and ginseng. There are also plenty of supermarkets, making food delivery very convenient. The room was spacious and even had a laundry room. While it didn't have a voice assistant, that aligns with the brand's positioning. The sound insulation of the room door wasn't great; if you like to sleep in, you might be woken up by cleaning noises. Early risers can ignore this. The only downside was a slight odor in the shower room, possibly a drain smell or something similar, but everything else was great. I hadn't stayed at an Ibis before, and this one left a very positive impression. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Also! The public parking at the Chibe Transportation Hub for Changbai Mountain charges 25 yuan! You can decide whether to take a taxi or pay for parking. The hotel also offers a shuttle service, which I didn't use, but they called me in advance to ask, which was a nice touch.

The smart hotel really has smart rooms where Chinese voice commands are used with XiaoDu. Everything in the room are clean, new and well designed. The reception ladies are all friendly and professional, with one of them especially helpful. They have drivers who can send the guests to nearby places such as the breakfast places and railway station (5mins away). This hotel is centrally located in Antu town. Some rooms provide fruits every day which is much needed for me. Laundry service is provided too upon request.

This guesthouse is conveniently located right at the end of the Daquan River rafting experience, making it super easy to head back after your adventure. The staff is really helpful and will arrange taxis for you if you want to go out for food or other activities. They even organize carpools for longer trips to places like Yanji or Xue Ling. The owner is a great person! Our room was very clean and tidy, and we had a really comfortable stay. You can even step right outside and play in the snow, offering a truly immersive experience.

This onsen hotel is amazing! The hot spring water is clean, and after a soak, you feel completely refreshed. The rooms are tidy and spacious, fully equipped with all amenities, and the staff are warm and attentive. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options. It's excellent value for money, and I'll definitely be back!
