I visited Changbai Mountain during the Qingming holiday, and even though the scenic area was closed, I still felt incredibly happy. I had the rare opportunity to see 'tree hangings' (rime ice) in spring – tall and short, decorating the entire street like a silver wonderland, but without the biting cold of winter. What I was most satisfied with was my accommodation experience in Changbai Mountain this time. Having stayed in many hotels, I wanted to try out a guesthouse. After searching online, I finally chose 'Alice'. My friends all said the hostess was super enthusiastic, the service was excellent, she replied to messages instantly, and the place was clean and hygienic. All the disposable amenities you could need were provided, and they even prepared slippers, toothbrushes, and toiletries for kids – truly thoughtful! When I checked in, I saw it firsthand, and it was absolutely true, living up to its reputation! I'll leave some regrets to ensure I have a reason to return to Changbai Mountain, and I'll definitely stay at Alice again!

The living room toilet is bigger and spacious than expected, the shower is separated from wet and dry, the TV can be cast screen is very useful, and there is a refrigerator. The boss is very good and very enthusiastic to recommend attractions and help buy tickets and pick up and drop off

Hotel very big space with 3 bed rooms and living room and kitchen, it’s one floor for us and can stay less than 10 people. Good location and facilities. Special the owner very helpful and good arrangement for our leisure traveler. Free pick up from train station 🚉 as well. The location very good as well, it close to Changbaishan center and Er Dao Bai He as well. I would like to recommend to my friends or family and would like to stay again next time.

Title: A stay that exceeded expectations, I'll definitely be back! The location is very convenient, about a five or six-minute walk from the subway station, making dining and shopping hassle-free. The room was more spacious than I expected, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – I slept soundly until morning. The soundproofing was also good, making for a very quiet night. I particularly want to commend the front desk staff. Check-in was very fast, and they thoughtfully informed me about breakfast times and nearby attractions. Any requests I called in were handled very promptly. The breakfast selection was quite rich, with both Chinese and Western options. The freshly cooked noodles and small wontons tasted excellent. Overall, the value for money is high, and I was very satisfied with this stay. I'll choose this hotel again next time I visit this city.

Erdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful. There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead. Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming. We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch. There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful. What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back

I called the owner from the high-speed rail station, and they immediately arranged for a driver to pick me up. The journey was thoughtful and warm. Arriving at the guesthouse, I was instantly charmed – the small courtyard was covered in thick snow, and there was a plump snowman by the door. Every photo I took captured the perfect winter vibe! It's also very convenient to get around from here. The owner was incredibly enthusiastic. As soon as we put down our luggage, they brought us frozen pears, which were icy, sweet, and super refreshing. The driver who picked us up was an absolute gem; not only did he recommend fun local spots along the way, but he also suggested a fantastic and affordable restaurant. Six of us girls ate until we were stuffed, and it was less than 50 RMB per person! (It's definitely enough for those with smaller appetites, but guys might need to order a couple more dishes~) My biggest regret is not asking Master Wei to teach us how to ski! He offered, but we ended up going to the ski resort ourselves and 'fell into a trap' (made mistakes). I should have listened to him. In the evening, we even lit sparklers in the courtyard. For those of us from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, who are used to firework bans, this kind of joy is truly rare! From start to finish, everyone at the guesthouse was wonderful – warm and welcoming without being intrusive. This winter trip was doubly enjoyable because of this guesthouse, and I've already recommended it to other classmates! The landlady is very kind, helpful, approachable, enthusiastic and patient. She helped me to arrange all the transportation during my whole journey there at a reasonable price. She replied all my queries promptly and patiently via wechat. If you are a foreign tourist without a local phone number, you can still contact her through WeChat by adding her contact number, which is her wechat contact ID . There are some restaurants and supermarkets nearby which is very convenient . The room is very spacious and bright with well-equipped facilities, and the surrounding environment is quiet, clean, hygienic and tidy. Highly recommended!!

Overall, a fantastic experience! The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, a definite highlight. The guesthouse's location is excellent – just a 15-minute walk from the North Slope tourist distribution center. Right across the street is the Scaly-sided Merganser Park with beautiful scenery, and it's also within walking distance to the Rice Paddy Station. Absolutely a prime location!

Great location , easy to get to from the train station and plenty of taxis available in the morning to get to Changbaishan. The owners are very friendly and kind and made me feel very welcome, and the room was basic but very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The sanitation is super clean and warm, the price-performance ratio is very high, the boss and his wife are very enthusiastic, and boss Chen even drove us a distance for free to Genting Palace, which is quite a long way to walk. 😅With Boss Chen's carpooling and ticket pick-up (the boss drives himself and is very patient), the Demon World rafting is cheaper than online😝. He speaks very politely👍. I wish Boss Chen a prosperous business and lots of money. If I have the chance to stay here again, I will recommend it to my friends.
