Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

Conveniently located near Zermatt HBF. Clean and spacious room, can see the Matterhorn tip from the balcony, will be better if I was allocated a higher level. Simple breakfast included, friendly reception , no early check in but can leave luggages with them. Overall, it’s a nice hotel to stay especially if you don’t want to drag your big luggage around. Oh.. there’s no fan and aircon in the room so have to open the window and can be wake up by the train track sound.

the location was good. u can see matterhorn clearly but unfortunately there is a big construction crane block some view. On the way to hotel from zermatt station if you follow the google map, it gonna lead u to hard way, very high upslope hill. it will be better if hotel provide u the easy path way to hotel.

The staff were not particularly responsive, and we had an awkward interaction at 8:00 AM when housekeeping knocked rather loudly and seemed annoyed that we were not ready to vacate the room yet. Additionally, when we went down for breakfast at 9:00 AM, most of it had already been cleared away, despite the official notice stating it runs until 10:00 AM. On a positive note, the hotel does offer a convenient perk: just be sure to book their free transit shuttle to/from the train station ahead of time.

We booked a mountain view room, but there was absolutely no view of the Matterhorn. The hotel terrace opened onto another hotel, completely blocking the mountain view. It seems only the room on the right has a view of the Matterhorn. We felt cheated; the mountain view room was quite expensive. The room was large, but the location was really inconvenient. Getting to the town center involved going up and down hills. If the room didn't have a view of the Matterhorn, there was absolutely no point in staying here! Also, the breakfast selection was limited, and they didn't replenish it promptly after it ran out.

It is our honeymoon trip here, hotel decorated the room for us. Staff all very friendly and helpful, and we check out at 6:00am, hotel given us two breakfast set to take away😊😊, thank you so much!! Location just a few minutes away from the train station. The Room has a little kitchen, and can see the Matterhorn view.

Location was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station! Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc. the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available. The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!

This hotel offers exceptional value for money; I couldn't be more satisfied. Facilities: The room with the balcony is small but charming. The room was warm, and the blankets were very fluffy. There's a kitchen on the basement level with an induction cooker, pots, pans, and tableware. You can cook instant noodles yourself. There's also an oven and microwave. Cleanliness: Daily cleaning; very clean. Service: The staff are all very friendly. It's convenient to leave your key at the front desk when you leave and retrieve it when you return. The elevator is very old-fashioned; you need to press a button and pull the door yourself, which is quite interesting.

This hotel in Zermatt is definitely a surprise on the trip. Our group of three made an appointment in early October, because the Swiss price was higher, and the underground triple room was originally booked. I didn't expect the front desk to upgrade the room for us and upgrade to the second floor! Not only is the view very good, the balcony is intuitive to Matterhorn (I didn't see it on the day due to the weather, I saw it after checking out the next day), but the sofa bed has also been laid out and the service is in place. Less than ten minutes walk from the town, there is a supermarket along the way to meet the supply. Breakfast is rich and everything is great! There are hot springs outdoors and indoors. I often see people soaking. Every room in the hotel provides hot spring supplies. It is recommended to stay. Try to choose a regular price room, because the view is really a plus, leaving a good memory for a lifetime.

The apartment is close to supermarket and train station. Room size is big and kitchen wares are provided. But bed is small and too soft. It cannot support the body well and there is risk of falling off.
