Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

Conveniently located near Zermatt HBF. Clean and spacious room, can see the Matterhorn tip from the balcony, will be better if I was allocated a higher level. Simple breakfast included, friendly reception , no early check in but can leave luggages with them. Overall, it’s a nice hotel to stay especially if you don’t want to drag your big luggage around. Oh.. there’s no fan and aircon in the room so have to open the window and can be wake up by the train track sound.

Nice hotel but the only setback is i booked 2 rooms but one room without lift which i need to hand carry up the stair case Also no kettle been provided, i guess this is basic requirement. Hope they cN improve on this. Breakfast simple and nice The staff super friendly, thumbs up on this!! Hotel is clean and tidy.

The room was very clean and tidy. There was a slope from the station to the hotel, but it didn't seem like a problem at all considering the beautiful view from the hotel. The lounge, with its Swiss atmosphere, was wonderful.

We love the hotel and room. From station pickup to check in and breakfast. Every staff is nice. Room is comfortable with magnificent views of Matterhorn. From hotel, it is 10 mins leisure walk to cable station to visit Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Strongly recommended to visit and stay at this hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Parnass during my time in Zermatt, and it proved to be a very convenient and comfortable base for exploring the town and surrounding mountains. The location is one of its biggest strengths. The hotel is right in the centre of Zermatt, meaning you’re within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and key attractions. It’s also only about a 5-minute walk from the train station, which is ideal when arriving with luggage or heading out early for mountain excursions. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. It had a cosy, alpine feel that suits Zermatt perfectly, and it provided a good place to relax after a day out in the mountains. Breakfast was included in my stay, and it was a great way to start the day. Having breakfast on site makes mornings much easier, especially if you’re planning an early start for skiing, hiking, or taking one of the mountain railways. From a practical perspective, the central location means you can easily access lifts, train connections, and walking routes without needing any additional transport. Everything feels close by, which is a big advantage in a destination like Zermatt. I would highly recommend Hotel Parnass for anyone looking for a well-located, comfortable hotel in Zermatt. It’s a great option if you want to be in the heart of the town with easy access to everything while still enjoying a relaxed alpine atmosphere.

Location was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station! Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc. the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available. The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!

The hotel's proximity to the station was a lifesaver, especially with a heavy suitcase. Zermatt has these electric vehicles that transport guests to hotels further from the station, so some places might offer shuttle services. However, if you don't want the hassle of booking one, this hotel is a perfectly good option. My only minor complaints were the awkward placement of the power outlets and the lack of one by the bed.

Booked a family room for 3 adults and 1 child. Service at front counter is excellent! Courteous, friendly and informative. Also we got upgraded! Room is clean and spacious and has a balcony. On going renovation next door during our stay in Oct 2024. Resort has 2 restaurant at the hotel but one apparently requires reservation and has seating time. We were famished when arrived at the restaurant at 8pm, but were told to come back at 830pm for second seating. Such a disappointment when the front counter service was excellent. Had dinner at the pub instead, food wasn’t too bad. Spa facilities was great. Would stay at the same Ola e again. Value for money

Overall, it is very convenient to be separated from the train station by a road. Go to the lively area to eat. The subway is three to four stops away. 🏨 I chose a triple room, just stayed in 😂 and gave us a barrier-free room (and the feeling of a domestic nursing home, the wall has yellow liquid rolling down, the bedside has a red block decisively contacted the front desk to change the room, and the room was slightly smaller!
