3-Star Hotels in Lucerne

The room is really hard to describe. I booked three 20 square meter standard twin rooms, but I didn't expect that the room 44 was a loft. The room type is irregular, but the area is still quite large, barely acceptable. Room 12 and Room 32 are only 15 square meters at most. And at first they were double bed rooms, and the two beds were separated after coordination. I suggest you don't book this hotel, the price-performance ratio is too low. Fortunately, I contacted Ctrip, and Ctrip's service is very good. I will book hotels on Ctrip in the future. In addition, the elevator is pitifully small, and it is very crowded for two people and two boxes. There is no air conditioning in the room, only a low-end electric fan.

The hotel's location is excellent, just 100 meters from Lucerne train station. This spot is perfect for travelers who want to check in quickly after their journey. Upon arriving at 1:30 PM, the front desk had already printed out my reservation, and I was able to check in immediately without waiting for my room, which was great. Since I booked a 'comfort room,' which is essentially the cheapest option (still over 2000 yuan), the room size was quite small. The bathroom, in particular, was tiny – the smallest I've ever seen, even smaller than those in space-constrained Hong Kong or Tokyo hotels. A 1.75-meter person would hit the wall just trying to turn around. Everything else was good, though; the room had decent natural light and good lighting arrangements.

The location was good for sightseeing and not far from the train station (it’s just 10-15 min. by walk). If you want to reach the hotel as soon as possible, you can catch the bus for Hirzenhof. From the stop, you just need to walk for 3 min.. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good enough to choose items, especially breads were tasty.

Hotel location is very good, we walked to Lucerne two hours in the morning, the balcony window is the spire of the church. Small, like a family hotel, the key is left in the envelope on the front desk, no staff provides other counselling services. The room did not have air conditioning, and I woke up in the middle of the night and found that there was a desktop fan. Overall, the price is not high, did not sleep well

It was good, of course, because the location was perfect. The beautiful river was within a minute's walk. The bed was comfortable, and we were each given a piece of candy. The biggest downside was the lack of breakfast, which left us feeling quite hungry in the morning. However, there is a swimming pool, perfect for those who enjoy a leisurely swim. While it's a bit small, it's still quite nice.

The location is fantastic, very close to several famous attractions, all just a few minutes' walk away. They offer a discount card that allows free use of public transport within the city. Parking requires finding a white space yourself, but you can arrange a CHF 20 all-day (24-hour) parking discount (this needs to be arranged at the hotel reception). The hotel has a drink machine, a salad and pasta vending machine, and a free 24-hour microwave for guest convenience.

This hotel stay was absolutely fantastic! Staying on the side facing Lake Lucerne meant we had stunning lake and snow-capped mountain views right from our balcony. The room was super clean and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Hotel goldener stern has a very nice outlook. Very cool vibes when i first stepped in. Check in was self service and easy. The lift is small so its only good for one person with luggage or two persons without luggage. The room is clean just rather small. Toilet is clean too. About 10 mins walk to luzerne station. There is also a bus that you can take from luzerne station to the accom. just need to walk 2-3 mins from bus stop. Overall, not a bad accom!

Breakfast: We stayed for three days. On the first day, which was a Saturday, there was smoked salmon and melon, but these weren't available on the subsequent two days. Generally, there were scrambled eggs, various cold cuts and cheeses, bread, and a coffee machine where you could get a cappuccino. The female staff member at breakfast (wearing glasses) was particularly efficient, quietly doing a lot of work and very polite – she's a real asset. Overall, I'd give breakfast an 80%. Summary: Very good, exceeded expectations.
