Great
HHi_AngelAlthough the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, they are very well-maintained, and the rooms are quite spacious. However, in the standard twin rooms, the beds are still quite close together (a common phenomenon in Europe). The hotel's location is not far from the river; it's about a five to six-minute walk to the riverside. Crossing the bridge brings you right to the heart of the old town. You can walk to attractions like the old city walls and the Lion Monument. The service attitude is also excellent, and any issues are addressed promptly. Breakfast is good too.
BButiaotideyoukeThe hotel is in a great location, directly facing the lake and mountain views. But there are also many shortcomings: 1) The room is small, and it is a bit difficult to move with two large pieces of luggage; 2) The breakfast is average, and there is not much to choose from. 3) Luggage handling is a problem, because you can't park at the door of the hotel, and the parking garage is across the road, so you have to drag your luggage yourself. There are two steps from the road to the hotel lobby, and there is no elevator. Of course, the beautiful waitress is very enthusiastic and will help with the luggage. The service attitude of the waiter is very good.
GGuest UserHotel location is very good, we walked to Lucerne two hours in the morning, the balcony window is the spire of the church. Small, like a family hotel, the key is left in the envelope on the front desk, no staff provides other counselling services. The room did not have air conditioning, and I woke up in the middle of the night and found that there was a desktop fan. Overall, the price is not high, did not sleep well
GGuest UserThe location is good, close to the train station and most sightseeing places in Luzern. The receptionists were all friendly and helpful. The only drawback of the hotel is noise levels. There are many restaurants around with outdoor seating so you would hear people chatting all the way till 11 pm. 5AM in the morning there would be loud street cleaning trucks. There was one night some bar nearby had loud drunk people noise till 2AM. There's no AC in the room so you have to leave the window open and deal with all the noises.
WWithTravelWe traveled by renting a car in Switzerland
We stayed at this accommodation in Lucerne for 2 nights, but the accommodation was very dark and uncomfortable
The bathroom was very old-fashioned, and the elevator was narrow and uncomfortable
I brought a shower filter and turned on the water, and the color of the filter changed right away. (I've been to many places in Europe, but this is the first time this has happened.)
The parking lot was a bit far (3 minutes on foot) and there was no discount on parking. It was a bit expensive
However, the location is very good, and I highly recommend it to those who are traveling by train for 1 or 2 nights (the place is very good for the price)
GGuest UserA fun hotel that worth staying in. Convenient location and clean rooms. However, there is room for improvement for housekeeping service ( there is a banana peel in the toilet bin when we checked in, and the toilet papers were almost used up)
JJiyufeifeiThree stops from the train station, or a 20-minute walk. Breakfast is a self-service buffet with a good variety of options and tasty food. The downside is that the facilities are a bit old, possibly due to the location. The bathtub is quite vintage, and the light switches also have an old-fashioned feel, as do the bedside lamps. The bed is a bit old too, and the room has poor soundproofing. There was a tour group in the middle of the night, and one of the older women's voices was deafening. Given the economical price, sometimes you can accept these things when considering the value.
GGuest UserHotel was in a great location, room was clean and very nice, bed was comfortable, and view was nice. Our bathroom was across the hall from our bedroom-- which though a little strange --didn't cause us any issues as it was private and clean (and huge). The only critique I have would be about the self check-in. I understand the goals of having a streamlined check-in process, but we didn't recieve the email with instructions, and had no answer to an email of inquiry. It took me phoning the hotel's administration to get an answer, in which the woman was very helpful, but did take away some of our time in Lucerne. If there was a more straightforward process that did not involve using the machine at the front door, as well as having clearer instructions on checking out, the stay would have been perfect.
QQINYUANLocation is very central in the old city part but warned that it's not acceptable with a car and the actual check-in happens in a nearby sister property. Wish we get this info in advance especially since we were with a car and was truly hectic getting to check-in. Room decent but don't expect much.
LLee W.KThe apartment is in a very strategic location, with a tram stop nearby and Luzern Train Station within walking distance, making it very convenient. The staff also responded promptly to our inquiries.
