Ibis Styles Luzern City

This hotel is an absolute must-stay if you're visiting Lucerne. It's within walking distance of the train station, and there's a Coop nearby, which is very convenient. You can also walk to the Lion Monument from here.

When checking in, they give you a one-day bus pass, and coffee is free 24/7.

No kettle and the room was quite small, but the location is super central. It's really close to Lucerne's main attractions, so if location is a priority for you, this place is a good choice. Switzerland is notoriously expensive, and this area felt a bit rural for the price. I'd estimate a hotel of this caliber would probably cost around 200 RMB in China. There's no free parking, so you'll have to find a paid parking lot nearby.

The room was a bit larger than I expected. The service was good, and it's just a 5-minute walk to the Lion Monument.

Free coffee is available, but the selection is a bit limited – no milk or chocolate drinks (which other branches have). However, it's very close to the famous attraction pictured below, and they also provide free city bus tickets.

The room was larger than expected, almost like a two-room suite with a balcony. From the balcony, I could see the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The hotel provided complimentary coffee, milk, and water, but there was no kettle in the room.

The room facilities meet Ibis standards, but the price is comparable to a domestic 5-star hotel.

The room was very clean, and the location was excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk from the station. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective; I woke up cold in the middle of the night and had to put on a sweater to sleep.
