3-Star Hotels in Calgary

The landlords ( husband & wife) are very friendly, helpful, nice & accommodating. The wife Ms Shujie Guo waited for us patiently to arrive at the air bnb before returning to their own home which is a short distance away. (NB: we did not get the message or e-mail for the main door number access code & she know that it has happened before. So she took the initiative to wait for us which we arrived at night at about 9 pm on that day). This air bnb house provided full cooking facilities including the ingredients & spices. The common area are very clean & tidy. The bedroom & bathroom are equally clean & tidy. There is a garden at the back of the house which is beautifully layout. The landlord lady Ms Jhujie Guo even went to the extent to alert my wife that there were northern lights & informed us to go to the open space to see. With our iPhone 14 pro max handphone, we managed to see the beautiful northern lights ( aurora). Unfortunately we were unable to capture the dancing lights as we do not have the camera stand. This is a bonus as we did not expect to see Northern lights in Calgary! We felt like we were living at our own home. We would highly recommend those who are looking for accommodation in Calgary to stay at Brothers Li Homestay.

I am a customer living in 407 on 9th of November in Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary NW - University Area, an IHG Hotel. . I am writing to complain  the lady on the front desk. She treated me not respectful. When we checked in, I am asking if we have hot spring, she replied several what? And correct me “hot tub” such as I am lack of knowledge. Later, I want to use Landry room and change dollars with them. They gave me several two dollars, and the washing machines only accept 1 dollars, which they should have known at first place. So I went back to the front desk to ask for 1 dollars again. And at that time. There is one guy lining in front of another front desk server. And the lady was answering the phone.  So I naturally stood in front of her desk and waited for her. And I asked her to change 1 dollars for me since they didn’t know. And then she asked me” don’t u notice there is a line? You should wait after it.” So I was so embarrassed to find out I cut in line. So if she is really mindful about me cutting in line, Why not telling me to wait after? Or just remind me in a more respectful way assuming I really don’t know there is a line? Either way will have same effect and I would be acknowledged in a not embarrassing way. And again, the washing machine only accept 1 dollar and they did not know, is their job dereliction. I am very concerned how your service match up with your high level of fees.

It’s the best for a person who has overnight layover! Like they are trained for that specifically. Free shuttle bus any time is real! But I couldn’t contact them by email though. Gotta call them, hope they fix that, I emailed a lot prior to my trip too. And the staffs are so kind that it made me feel safe and secure that I will not miss my flight 😌 If you have to leave early for flight before breakfast time. They will give you muffins and apples! The room was so big and nice, I wish I didn’t have the flight to catch so I can keep sleeping in that humungous king bed. There’s an atm at the lobby.

Booked again. Be very clear where you'd want to be picked up to avoid walking all the way from arrival to departure. The room is clean with a separate sink outside the washroom. Room was expensive since there was a game going on but still loved it due to the location. Depending on your room's location, you can hear the planes but it's like a white noise throughout the night.

Really large, beautiful rooms. Unfortunately too far from city center to walk Additionally only few Restaurants in walking distance. Room of indoor pool was too cold - why is the air conditioning running all the time even when weather is not too hot? So no desire to use pool - different then planned

The location is great! They offer private airport transfers and it's a popular base for tour groups, which is super convenient as you don't have to constantly move around. There are also supermarkets nearby for easy shopping. For those planning a self-drive trip, it's not far from Highway 1, so everything is just perfect. My only slight disappointment was the lack of a hot water kettle in the room, which isn't ideal for us Asians who prefer hot drinks. Also, even though I only stayed one night, I was bothered by two Western girls. First, they were laughing loudly outside my door, then they knocked and ran away, only for me to open the door and see them laughing elsewhere with a phone propped up on the floor filming my doorway. Maybe it was some kind of YouTube prank! Anyway, I felt disturbed by them! I didn't feel comfortable filming them, but I hope the hotel takes this seriously.

The hotel is very new, newly renovated, toiletries can also Recommended The air conditioner is not easy to operate In the morning, I want to make a coffee with a coffee machine and open the back of the water. It is full of dust. Should this be changed? Hygienic: The sanitary details are not good, especially the coffee machine is not cleaned, it is all gray Facilities: New Environment: Good Service: cost-effective

A good hotel considering the price and location. For a 3 star property, it meets the stated standard. Comfortable beds. Spacious lobby. Everything works.

I was a bit nervous after reading some other reviews, but I need not have been. My room was spacious, the bed comfy and the pillows plentiful. My 11 year old grandson, who visited during my stay, gives the pool and waterside a huge thumbs up. His mother, sister and I enjoyed the hot tub while he splashed alone.  Breakfast was a bounty! Although I am limited by multiple food allergies, I found more than enough to eat and enjoyed my 2 breakfasts.  When I first arrived in my assigned room, I discovered a tool on the floor and a dismantled A/C unit. Before I had time to wonder, a repairman was at the door, apologetic that I had arrived before he could complete his maintenance. He immediately arranged for me to switch to a different room, and all was well.  Desk staff were all cordial, helpful, friendly. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay and highly recommend others to ignore naysayers and give it a try. I would be happy for a return visit if opportunity arises. Hotel is spacious and clean! Come here with my family and we all were impressed with the comfort of the bed including the cleanliness
