2-Star Hotels in Honolulu

Because we cancelled our trip to the Big Island and decided to have an in-depth tour of Oahu instead, we chose to extend our stay. The surrounding environment is really nice. Ala Moana Beach Park and both sides of the canal are suitable for leisure and exercise. We were lucky enough to see a rainbow on the balcony of our hotel room. The No. 20 bus at the door goes directly to the airport. We had a great trip!

The hotel is located in a bustling area of downtown Honolulu, very close to commercial centers like Walmart and Macy's, just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the service attitude is quite good.

The Pacific Marina Inn Airport is only suited for travelers needing a practical, budget-friendly option near HNL, especially for overnight or layover stays. It's not luxurious, but it delivers on convenience, friendly service, and basic comforts. However, if you're seeking a longer stay, a more polished experience, or better access to attractions like Waikiki, you may want to explore options elsewhere.

I was very disappointed when I got to my crappy old room...it was so hot in my room!! The a/c was barely working!! So I called the front desk to switch rooms... luckily she called me back and said she had another room for me... the new room wasn't really any better!! The a/c was in the back corner and still I couldn't feel the a/c!! I actually had to go to the back corner to feel a little air conditioned. We pay a lot of money to stay there and there rooms barely have working air conditioned!! We were very hot the whole time we were there!! So my friends and I will never stay there again!! And we will not recommend Waikiki heritage hotel to anyone!! Good luck...

The front desk staff was very kind and I was grateful. It was about a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. It was around 11pm, so it was about $66 including the late-night fare. During the day, it was about $50.
