AAnne-CharlotteOnly one shower in the room, the others were upstaires. There was a bar on the top of the hostel, so lot of noise at night, very hard to sleep. Not even a shower towel provided. The separations between the beds were really bare minimum. Shared kitchen dirty. But the personnel was very nice and the location was nice.

The location is next to a big show my centre. 10 min taxi from 5th avenue and the main beach area . As it is away from the beach it is very quiet at night.

GGuest UserNice hotel close to the beach and the city center. My room was facing to the street with a bar on the other side, which sometimes played music beyond midnight. The included continental breakfast is served in another hotel about 1 km away.
There is no sign at the main entrance identifying it as a hotel, I had to call in to actually find the right door.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofía by Bunik in Playa del Carmen. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very comfortable. The rooftop is absolutely amazing – a great pool, beautiful views, and a perfect place to relax in the evening. It was one of our favorite parts of the hotel. The location is super convenient: very close to Walmart, shops, and restaurants, and easy to get around the city. Everything you need is within walking distance. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen.

KKristinaThe hotel is absolutely gorgeous, lots of palm trees, flowers, birds - during a day that's a quiet paradise. But at night... Sweet Jesus, there are two bars next to the hotel, and you can hear them both PERFECTLY. If you are a night person and won't be in bed until 2am, you're good. But if you dare to try sleep a little earlier, you may be a little bit distracted.
Rather than that, the hotel, facilities, people, service, location - everything is awesome.

Great place to stay alone or with another person. Fantastic location (near all bars and clubs). You could hear the music a bit but good enough for a good night sleep. Service was amazing and gave us 10% for use at their cafeteria. Room was amazing with good quality AC and fan with a fridge and small kitchen Will definitely give this hostel a 10/10.

The room was as described, French bed, terrace with two chairs and shared bathroom. Everything seemed clean and tidy, the service was precise and the operators kind and helpful, I was given the key to the safe that I used for valuables and also towels. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the street of shops and restaurants, every service is convenient. I have not had any major problems, but I confirm what many reviews say and that is that the pub below plays music at full volume until 2 in the morning and can be annoying. The only thing that bothered me was the Wi-Fi network which is not good at all.
