Outstanding
LLiuThis was a very clean and nice unit. It's right on the ocean, and within short driving distance of most destinations in Hakodate. We spent 2 nights here but would've loved to stay longer. The house is very clean, well-decorated, and the internet is very very quick. It was my favourite place to stay during our roadtrip throughout Hokkaido.
One small annoyance is there is some construction on the lot nearby, but that noise only occurs during work hours.

駐車場あり、バイクも停められました。
赤レンガに歩いて10分程度でとても景観がよく、着いた途端に外観も可愛くて嬉しくなりました。
大阪弁のオーナーさんとにこやかな奥様がとても落ち着く雰囲気のペンションです。
お風呂も23時ギリギリでしたが、快く入浴させて頂きました。朝の散歩にも良い立地です。
朝コーヒーのみお願いして美味しかったです。
また函館に来る時には泊まります。

GGuest UserA typical family's Japanese-style homestay, small second floor, the boss family is carefully operated, decorated in Japanese Western style. Public toilets are very convenient. It is very close to Hakodate Station, and it is very convenient to eat and drink!

GGuest UserHost was SUPER friendly, will miss Hakodate because of her, she does not speak English though, but google translate works fine. There’s WiFi in the room even though indicated no WiFi. Bus ride to train station cost about ¥230/280.

ZZhenliThe location is close to Goryokaku, but it is a little far from the downtown area, so I think it is a little inconvenient to drink and walk.
The service that coffee can be drunk at any time was good.
Breakfast was also really simple toast and powdered soup, but I was saved because I didn't have to go to the convenience store.
The room was quite thin with a wall and the voice of the next door was heard normally.
The room was cold and I had air conditioning on, but it is quite noisy.

Room rate was very low, and breakfast was included, surprise! May be a bit inconvient if you cannot speak any Japanese in case you need help.
