This is the best homestay I have ever stayed in. It is an antique two-story building with many flowers planted in the yard. When you push open the wooden fence door, you will see a sea of ​​rapeseed flowers. The proprietress has a kitten who is cute and clingy. He will come and lie beside you when you call him. The proprietress cooks delicious food. She enthusiastically made shepherd's purse spring rolls, braised pork with bamboo shoots, and pickled pork with preserved vegetables for us. They also took us up the mountain to dig bamboo shoots. If any friends are staying at this B&B, they can try the boss lady's cooking. Let's talk about the room. It is fully equipped and all toiletries are imported. You can smell a light fragrance as soon as you enter the door, and the meticulousness of the proprietress is reflected everywhere. recommend

Everything is excellent. The owner came out to the entrance and drove our luggage to the hotel. He did the same when we left. So our big luggage bags weren’t a problem. We had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights. They have a washer for laundry which suits our needs. The owner also has a very quaint cafe just around the corner. We had a great time chilling there for 2 afternoons and even had dinner there. Highly recommended!

This homestay was satisfactory. It was very well located in the old town and easy to find. However, there was no one at the front desk when I arrived or throughout the stay. I had to call and then wait for about 10 minutes before someone arrived. When the host arrived they seemed unsure about my reservation, was on call with someone else, and didn’t provide any service or information about the local area. A while after I entered the room there was a bad smell from the bathroom drain that remained for the rest of my stay. There was another bad smell in the morning of my 2nd day. I walked outside my room to find that an animal had pooped outside my door. Maybe a cat? It is unfortunate because this was a beautiful home and Hongcun is a stunning town, but it did not feel like the homestay was very well serviced or cleaned. I’m sure they can improve before the next stay!

It's very close to the South Gate, with a large floor-to-ceiling glass room. The room was very clean and had all the basic amenities. The owner was very attentive. They helped with the way into and out of the scenic area and even checked in my luggage. They also gave me a souvenir before I checked out.

I loved this inn and the warm welcome I received from the owner and his family. The inn is a historic Huizhou style house with a quiet courtyard; Bishan is a great village with a mix of traditional livelihoods and new cultural activity - I really want to come again in the warmer weather. Transport is spotty but the owners can help arrange cars as needed. Note to foreign friends: No English is spoken but the hosts are very welcoming and you could get along just fine with a translation app. Come visit and experience the real Anhui!

I was also very satisfied with the host's service; they were welcoming but not overly intrusive, and their recommendations for nearby restaurants were excellent. I'll definitely stay here again! Beautiful house located in a quiet part of the ancient village. As you’ll read in many reviews, the host provides excellent service, and I felt like I was meeting a friend. He took me to and from the gate of the village to the house and helped me carry my luggage. He also helped me arrange a ride back to the train station - there were some issues and he took the time to sort it out with the drivers on my behalf, which was above and beyond. The host and I talked about traveling and I could tell he was someone who was genuine and wanted to be as helpful as possible. The room is beautiful with huge windows and lots of thoughtful details. I had wonderful rests here while it was too hot outside. From the window you can see some rooftops of Hui architecture. The village isn’t big, so all the sights are nearby

The inn is located next to the red poplar trees at the entrance to the scenic village. The innkeeper was very welcoming and attentive, even going to the parking lot she had pre-designated to pick up our luggage and elderly guests. Her husband is a chef, and his local specialties, like stinky mandarin fish, are incredibly delicious. She also recommends her friends to stay here.

The hotel is located in a quiet yet convenient spot, just a two- or three-minute walk from Yuda Street, which is close to the entrance of Hongcun Village. There are plenty of restaurants on the street, and you can rent electric scooters nearby; even banks are available. The hotel is a traditional Chinese building. Our two rooms were on the second floor, accessible by stairs. There were some tables and chairs outside the rooms for casual seating, while the rooms themselves had standard hotel facilities. We were satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms after one night. The landlady and her family were very welcoming. If you have any questions, feel free to ask her. Everything was great.

I'm giving this rating purely to encourage him to improve some of the issues and grow the business. The shop's ambiance is actually quite stunning, brimming with Anhui style, antique charm, and a captivating atmosphere. But I was completely surprised to see a major issue with the basic drainage system. In the shower, within seconds, water began to accumulate like a fish pond beneath my feet. Even the washbasin was severely clogged, overflowing quickly. At first, I thought it was a common problem with old Anhui-style houses, but when I asked my parents where they live, they said they had no such issue. It seems like encountering this kind of problem is really just a matter of luck; if you're unlucky, you'll just have to deal with a terrible water blockage. I hope the owner can resolve this issue quickly so everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay.
