Guest UserHighly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰.
I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

This guesthouse in Hongcun is a converted 300-year-old building. The courtyard is charmingly antique, blending the elegance of Jiangnan gardens with the cultural heritage of ancient Huizhou. Every corner is meticulously designed and maintained.
The guesthouse boasts a prime location, just a short walk from the south gate, making it incredibly convenient. Although situated within Hongcun, it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle; at night, the only sounds are the chirping of frogs and insects.
The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless, and equipped with modern amenities for comfort and convenience. The housekeepers are also incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage at the entrance, taking photos, and readily fulfilling any requests.
This guesthouse truly represents a perfect blend of historical culture and modern comfort, exceeding expectations. Highly recommended!
By the way, their osmanthus black tea is also delicious! 👍

Guest UserAfter a few days of exploring Huangshan, we returned to the hotel. It's a 5-6 minute walk to the main scenic area of Hongcun, so there's no need to rush around with luggage.
The spacious living room features a tea table, a rockery, and a boat – sitting there and daydreaming feels like stepping into a painting. The biggest surprise was the fully automated guest room controls; lighting and curtains were managed with a single touch, and the smart toilet was incredibly convenient. Every detail reflects the thoughtful touches of a high-end hotel.
The shared facilities were top-notch: a bright and clean laundry room ensured clothes were always fresh, the rooftop infinity pool offered panoramic mountain views, and there was a fully equipped gym where you could relax and rejuvenate after a long day of sightseeing.

The service is really attentive ❤️. Before staying at the hotel, the housekeeper will come in advance and add WeChat to set up a WeChat service group, inform the location, and come to greet you. When delivering, he also gave you a souvenir handmade in the store. The children and elders all enjoyed their stay. We could see the starry sky in our room at night. The children were very surprised and kept asking if they could continue to stay here tomorrow? ! The room is consistent with the picture of the reservation. The special mountain spring water and welcome dinner in the store are very considerate. The breakfast is also 10 kinds of which are very balanced and rich. The welcome dog Wangzai is very cute. He greets and sees off guests, and the overall impression is wonderful. Very good impression. I will stay here again next time I come to Hongcun.

Guest UserThe rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the facilities are excellent. The food is delicious too! Most importantly, the staff are all incredibly nice, warm, and attentive. They helped us with our luggage, and even offered pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic area. A special shout-out to the beautiful lady manager – she was super enthusiastic and truly touched our hearts. Oh, and there's also a very cute little black dog! I really hope this wonderful guesthouse continues to thrive. We'll definitely be back next time we visit Hongcun!

Guest UserThis guesthouse offers a tranquil and peaceful environment, with rustic yet elegant decor, and is spotlessly clean with all the necessary amenities. The hosts are warm, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful, making for a cozy and pleasant stay. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle, very relaxing, and conveniently located for exploring. It's an excellent choice for a leisurely getaway. The owner is super nice and good-looking too! The guesthouse environment rivals that of a five-star hotel – definitely the top choice in Hongcun! The courtyard is also very picturesque.

This hotel is less than a 15-minute walk from the West Gate entrance of Hongcun. They also offer a shuttle service to the scenic area's parking lot (from which it's another 5-minute walk into the area). It's quiet and quite convenient. Compared to staying inside the scenic area where you'd have to drag your luggage over many stone paths, staying outside is much more practical.
The hotel itself has a very artistic and stylish design, with spacious and tasteful common areas.
P1 shows the breakfast area on the third floor. Breakfast is served as set meals (some items can be refilled).
We booked a large room with one 1.8m king bed and one 1.2m smaller bed (similar to a榻榻米 or Japanese-style floor mattress).
The hotel service is also great, very welcoming and helpful (they offer pick-up and drop-off from the bus station, though the bus station is actually right at the entrance of Hongcun scenic area anyway).

Guest UserThe boss is very friendly and enthusiastic. He will solve any needs in time. The room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, the environment in the yard is also very good, quiet in the bustling city, and it is only a few minutes' walk from Nanhu Lake and Yuezhao. It is very convenient. I will choose it again next time I come to play! Recommended Recommended

Facilities: Our family stayed in three rooms, all with underfloor heating. However, when there were a lot of people, one room's heating was unstable. The housekeeper did his best to help resolve the issue late at night.
Cleanliness: The house is a bit old, but the cleaning was good. The kitchen was also quite clean.
Environment: Located in the Mukeng Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, the environment is excellent and the air is fresh.
Service: The hostess was very welcoming and upgraded us to a family room. The room was excellent. The housekeeper was also very helpful. New drivers should be cautious when entering the hotel, as the roads are narrow enough for one car only.

Guest UserThis location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.
