Guest UserAffordable hotel in decent neighbourhood. It’s 15min walk from Zurich HBF. Sink basin is located inside the room instead of bathroom. Room floor can be get wet , if you are not too careful. Air conditioning is not there, but fan is provided.

We encountered Zurich during a light autumn rain. The hotel wasn't luxurious, but everything was just right. We were driving, so we chose a location a bit further from the city center, which offered great value for money. In the evenings, the lobby provided coffee and drinks. After dinner, my friends and I would come back, have a drink, chat for a bit, and then head back to our rooms to rest – a very typical Zurich pace.

Guest UserThe room is definitely on the small side but as a petite woman, this is definitely enough for a few nights’ stay.
The bed was comfy and the arrangement of the room made sense.
The best was how it’s literally just in front of Flix bus station & train station. So no matter how late you arrive, you don’t need to worry about lugging your luggage in the dark and walk for far to find the place.
Overall, I enjoyed my night stay at Fred’s and would consider staying with them again if I were to visit Zurich again.

NarminkaWonderful hostel. Clean, comfortable, with a wide bed, and all the necessities provided – water, clean towels, and a locker for luggage. The location is also excellent, right next to the Old Town and the train station. We really enjoyed our stay.

This hostel is clean and conveniently located, close to the main touristic attractions and the main train station. Shared bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The room is comfortable.
However - the hostel is just next door to a bar, so it’s very noisy until the bar closes (on a Friday night is 2AM). checkout time is at 10AM, which is not only unusual but very inconvenient.
I won’t be staying in this hotel when I return to Zurich

RENJINGThe location of the hotel is excellent and the service is very good. The price in the place of Zurich, Switzerland is quite affordable. The important thing is that the hotel is in the central area, close to the attractions and stations.

Guest UserThe location and cleanliness of the room were excellent. However, there doesn't seem to be a permanent staff member at the hotel, so you need a passcode to enter. This means you must complete the web check-in by the day before your arrival to receive the passcode and room number via email from the hotel. It's absolutely essential not to forget to do the self-check-in beforehand.

E=MC❷This budget hotel offers a great overall experience and excellent value for money. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and it had all the essential amenities needed for a typical trip. The location is also quite convenient, with plenty of dining options and easy access to transportation nearby. The front desk staff were very friendly and handled check-in and check-out quickly. It's perfect for short business trips or vacations, and I would definitely stay here again if needed.

AllouraI will stay again here whenever I go visit Switzerland… the lady ( staff ) is really helpful… the place is in the heart of the city and near the Zurich BH… I forgot to take pictures but this place is clean and organised well
