Hotels near Grossmunster in Zurich

The hotel is located really close to the main station which is super convinient and also there are trams stops close by. So in terms of location it was great! just service of the staff are not too great. started off with really intimidating and rude front desk receptionist during check in. He was really rude and did not want to answer questions when we wanted to ask something and when we first arrivdd he just yelled at us to just wait even though we were just standing and waiting. The daily room cleaning staff was also just throwing our personal things around and not really helping put it back . so overall service wasnt too great and rooms were really small but convinient location

I was there for 2 days, from 9 to 11 May, I was there together with my wife. The Hotel is quite good .Admittedly we waited a while to check-in, a lot of guests just arrived , but after that everything was fine, great service at the reception , we were by car ,the lady from the front desk showed us how to get to the parking lot. The room was small but pleasant and clean, breakfast good, staff very good. If Im ever in Zurych definitely come there back.

I have spent 18 days working from JOYN Zurich so think this should be a fairly accurate review of my experience. For context, JOYN is new so may still be working through teething issues, but hopefully this is useful feedback. Pros; - Comfortable, well equipped rooms. I was in one of the largest apartments they offer and it is a good space to spend a lot of time - The kitchenette whilst small is workable and has most of what you'd need - Well located close to the airport and about 25 mins by tram to central Zurich - Nice bathroom and good shower pressure - Gym is good with nice new equipment - Very close to great supermarkets (Coop and Migros next door) - The communal spaces are lovely, including the central courtyard and roof gardens - Strong water pressure from the shower (although the drain didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of water which meant potential overflowing of the shower unless carefully managed) - The room has a small dishwasher. There were two dishwasher tablets provided and these weren't topped up by the cleaners, meaning you'll need to buy more Unfortunately the cons are pretty significant though, particularly if you want to work from here; Cons - The wifi is atrocious. At best the speeds hover around 1mbps which isn't good enough for stable whatsapp or facetime calls, let alone Teams or Zoom work calls. I thought this may have been my room but is pretty much my experience in all the open spaces including the ground floor communal spaces (see screenshot from Speedtest). This makes it unsuitable for any work. - The cleaning services are a bare minimum. After one week they changed my linen and towels but didn't vacuum, sweep the floor, empty bins or clean the bathroom. After another 7 days they'd hadn't come to clean again and when prompted they said it would be cleaned that day (but it wasn't). On the 8th day I asked and again they promised to have it cleaned. Whilst I wouldn't mind cleaning myself, there is no vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths or anything else in the room to clean with, so unless you want to buy your own, be prepared for it to get pretty dusty and the bathroom to get dirty. Cleaning also didn't include replacing the kitchen towels so you'll have to wash these yourself if you're staying for an extended period. - Other than the supermarkets nearby there is pretty much nothing else around Perhaps they're not used to guests having longer stays, but with cleaning services like this, it will become pretty horrible unless guests buy the cleaning products and do it themselves.

Great place, value for money. Breakfast is worth the money too. Reception is friendly and helpful, reached earlier than check in time and they gave us a room first. Room was clean, so was the bathrooms, really well maintained. Location is good too as it is about 5 to 7 mins walk to old town. There is an elevator for those with luggages.

The room is quite big and relatively new. The parking fee is 15 per night. It is very environmentally friendly. There are no disposable slippers and toothbrushes. The room is well soundproofed and clean. The location is not too biased.

We stayed for one night before our flight out of Zurich. It's located about 10-15 min walk from the Rümlang train station. There are not a lot of food options nearby. We only saw Mc Donald's and Subway. The on-site restaurant was good, but the menu was limited. We stayed in a family room, which was basically two connecting rooms, one with a double bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms were modern and had great showers, great blackout blinds/curtains, very comfortable beds, and supportive pillows. They offer scheduled shuttle to the airport for 6 CHF per person, but it was cheaper and more convenient for us to call an Uber.

The hotel is wonderful in many aspects. The interesting thing is that it is located in Walliselen, just right next to Glatt Zentrum shopping department store. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi access throughout the property. The Internet speed is fast. With the modern electric tram, not only the bus, brings me to reach the city center of Zurich and the Main Train Station in short time. In the room, it provides a flat-screen cable TV, a desk, and a bathroom with shower. At lobby area, I noticed that guests can also enjoy the food corner. There is a vending machines there. When need anything, the 24-hour front reception always is there. Very helpful staffs. I also would like to mention the General manager, Mr. Frank Trapa. He is very friendly. Are you a business traveller seeking a comfortable place to stay with good service at a reasonable price? Then B&B Hotel Rumlang is hard to beat. I stay here regularly and I find the value, the quality of the rooms, facilities and services very good for the price per night. I know that when I arrive here, a comfortable bed, a clean room with simple offerings, and a good nights rest is what is waiting for me. It isn't the Hilton, but that's not what I am expecting - easy access to work, quiet nights rest in a cosy atmosphere at an affordable price, is. I had to stay in Zurich for one night because the time of my arrival was too late to take a train home. The hotel is perfectly located (2.5 Km away from the airport) and you can easily get to it by train or bus or taxi. The room was really comfortable and clean. It had a safe, a TV, a fridge with water and a cozy bed, plus wardrobe. Breakfast was very nice, too. Staff was professional, kind and helpful.

The day of my arrival is Saturday, never expected Zurich is such a city never sleep, from train station to the hotel, each 10 meter a club or bar, young people stand in line waiting for entrance, strong electric music tempo cover the whole street, event the hotel walls are resounding over the midnight, lucky me I bring my earplugs. Additional breakfast is CHF$16.
