No improvement since last visit. Smoke smell still fills the Lobby from the open-flame cooking of Toro-Toro Restaurant. Great restaurant -- poor location choice. Hotel rooms are long-past due for gut renovations, as the rooms we have had on 2 visits confirm, which will cause us to stay elsewhere in the future. How old, stained, worn & chipped must furniture &/or bathroom fixtures become ”before” being replaced? All the staff were polite, courteous & helpful so no personnel complaints & housekeeping was basically OK. Attached parking garage is convenient since everything you want to do Downtown is within easy walking distance.

We bought a Groupon with some friends on at the spur of the moment and decided to forgo our weekend usual of being at the lake and instead drove 12 miles to this lovely hotel. The entire staff was friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to make sure our overnight stay was top notch. The pool is bigger than most hotel pools and very, very quiet. We packed a cooler and made a day of it at the pool. Eric, the shuttle driver dropped us at a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant for dinner and then picked us up when we called him. He helped with the mini refrigerators we needed and even provided extra pillows. We had a great time at the hotel. So much fun that we did it two weekends in a row!!

Horrible! Don’t go here! Cockroaches in the room, indifferent front desk attendants that can do nothing but shake their heads and say “yes sir yes” instead of actually acknowledging my desire to have the room effectively sprayed for cockroaches!!!! I even collected one night’s worth of roaches and showed it to the front desk attendant. I was ignored. The location is not a safe area, it is dirty, the owner of the neighboring hotel came over one morning demanding the Comfort Inn employees clean up the garbage that was blowing around to his hotel from the Comfort’s grounds, and all he got was the head shake from the East Indian front desk attendant while he acted as if he didn’t understand a word the other manager was saying. The owner and employees of this Comfort Inn hotel run a shoddy, bug infested hotel and they apparently do not understand a word of English (or just choose to act like they don’t speak a word of it). There is no attempt at customer service at all. I don’t care if someone doesn’t speak English as their first language - it’s not mine, either! I do care if the person dealing with the paying public acts indifferent and has no idea what you are saying to him. How do you have people working for you that can’t even communicate with the guests??? One good thing - lots of hot water. At least the shower I shared with cockroaches did have plenty of hot water.

GGuest UserI stayed at the TownePlace Suites in Fort Worth last week, and I have to say that I have not had a more absurd experience staying in a hotel in my memory. At 8 AM after a 1 night stay, housecleaning entered my room without knocking. After I let them know I was there, they left and I received a call from the front desk asking who I was. I let them know my name and they told me I was registered to another room (room 212). I explained I was given the key to room 330 at check in and went there. I checked out of the hotel and thought that was that. I then received an email from the assistant manager asking if I left my things in the room 212 after the room switch. I let her know I never switched rooms, I was only on room 330. She thanked me for clearing that up. I then received an e-mail later in the day informing me I was charged for another night because my clothes were left in room 212 and that I never was in another room. I again reiterated that I was never in room 212, that those were not my clothes, and that they should refund me for the extra night's charge. After not being replied to with a phone call and another email, they finally got back to me. This time the assistant manager informed me that in fact I did transfer rooms from 212 to 330 and would not be refunded for an extra night (an extra cost of $240). I don't think I've been gaslit by a hotel like this ever before and would not recommend it to anyone.
PPioneer17948243883I have been coming to this hotel multiple times over the last 6 weeks to visit a relative who is hospitalized. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, there's a nice complimentary breakfast every morning, the location is ideally located near some great restaurants, the Montgomery Street Antique Mall, and easy access to Harris Hospital. What _really_ makes this place great is the staff though. From Front Desk to Housekeeping to Maintenance to ”The Breakfast Ladies,” everyone seems to find genuine joy in helping their guests. Those smiles and welcomes and helpful attitudes make me feel like I'm one of the family. You can tell a lot about a place by the way the staff interacts with each other when they think nobody is looking...these are good folks who love each other and love serving their guests. My first experience kept me coming back, and now there is no place I'd rather stay.
JJennifertsWe arrived early and were very grateful that we were able to get a room a couple hours before checkin time. While I was checking in, there was an extremely unprofessional lady (I think she may have been the manager) on the phone speaking extremely loudly and ghetto (it’s the best way to describe her conversation). She was on the phone speaking about getting keys from another location because this location was had low quantity. She went on to say something about the payment and a check needing to clear. I attempted to block out the conversation while I was being checked in but she was sooooo loud. The young lady checked us in and I was actually surprised that we did not receive any type of welcome gift similar to what we receive for elite status. Not even water. We were in a corner room with an amazing view. The room was spacious; however, the bathroom was very tight. The toilet is literally in front of the door which made it tight getting in and out of the bathroom. The room was overall clean, except the floor doesn’t seem to be mopped often. I accidentally dropped some food and got a wet paper towel to wipe it up and it was filthy. The location is perfect with access to lots of high end restaurants. However, gluten free options are limited. I stayed at a different hotel about a block or so away earlier during the summer and it was an absolute struggle trying to find good gluten free options in this area. I doubt that we will return to this location, although I really wanted to like it.

Very Good
GGuest UserRoom was clean and a nice size, good size tv which is always a plus. Decent pool area and a good gym, location is great to get to near by attractions, has a nice lobby bar serving food and drinks until 11pm no co.plaints would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserSeptember 2022, I checked into the Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Fort Worth, Texas along with my daughter and 10-year-old granddaughter. On the second night while at the pool there was some activity on the second floor in the window directly above us. A middle aged man approached the window, turned around dropped his shorts and bared himself to us all. The pool is very close to the hotel. My ten-year-old granddaughter saw all of him. ALL of him. To say the least we were all upset. We immediately left the pool, and I went to the front desk to report the incident. Much to my surprise there was not a manager available and would not be available until the next morning. It was not option to even call management, I asked. An employee did have me go outside with him to point out the window. The people in the room heard us at the pool level and quickly closed the drapes. The window was still open. The employees told me the only thing they could do was tell me to call the police. I don’t understand why they could not and would not at the very least inform the people in this room there was a child in the pool. To make things worse that room was on the same hall as ours. Maybe 4 to 6 doors down. The next morning when I went down to speak to the manager, I was informed that there was no manager on the weekends. I was again told my only option was to call the police. When I asked if they could tell me if that room had checked out, they were not allowed to tell me that either. So based on that information we did not use any of the public areas of the hotel the rest of our stay, including the pool or have breakfasts. The hotel no longer felt safe not knowing if we would see this man in the halls, lobby, pool or breakfast areas. On our third and final night of our stay the fire alarms went off in the middle of the evening. When I went down to the front desk to see what was going on, I was informed along with another customer, that an EX-employee set off the fire alarm just to cause trouble. How was an ex-employee able to set off a fire alarm? What else does this ex-employee has access too? What else would he do the cause problems? Between the pervert and disgruntled ex-employee, I did not sleep very well. This location has several major safety concerns. I felt far from safe on so many levels. Not one time was I asked if there was anything I needed. I was told the manager would be informed of my concerns, but I was not asked what my name was or what room I was in. No one really cared. I booked this hotel based on the Raddison name, but we could not get out of this hotel fast enough. So disappointed.
FF8010WGjessicacI have no idea how this hotel has a high rating because it is terrible!! They use their parking lots for downtown patrons and hotel guests do not have priority so you may/may not get a spot and may/may not be able to access your car. The parking garage is tiny and DISGUSTINGLY dirty and smelly. There are piles of garbage bags four feet high, a dead mouse, and a dead bird—and I was trying not to look. The inside of the hotel is barely surface clean. When you look closer, the tiles are popping up, the carpet is stained and dirty, the rooms are grimy. There was ZERO housekeeping available for the entirety of our stay. We were here for 3 days and never once did we see ANYONE cleaning the high-touch surfaces or vacuuming the floors. The bar is closed during the weeknights. The lobby and elevator REEK of fake air freshener—so much so that I dreaded going inside. The same piles of trash and food wrappers were outside the doors and in the stairwell for our entire stay. We asked to speak to a manager and were told they would be down in a minute, they were cleaning rooms, they were off work—all in the same 3 hours so we never talked to a manager. The front desk lady nodded and stared at us vacantly when we were expressing our concerns. The front desk guy the first night was helpful and nice. We looked at other hotels that were cheaper but this one looked nice so we thought we’d give it a try. Wish we hadn’t. Do not stay here.

I recently stayed here for 4 nights in April. We have mixed emotions about this place. If you’re looking strictly for an ok place to sleep at nights, this will likely do the trick. If you’re looking for quality or amenities, look elsewhere. I was disappointed when we found out the pool, hot tub, gym, and ice machine were all “out of order”. If those are important things, you may want to call in advance to verify their status. All of the employees we encountered were rather friendly. The breakfast was what I expected if not a little better. Your basic waffle maker, bacon, toast, and eggs. The one thing I would mention is the area that this hotel is located in is um suspect at best. It’s directly off the highway which is great for access but that’s about it. We encountered countless homeless folks. Right up the road are a few ***** clubs. This just isn’t a place I would bring kids to stay at. The parking lot at night is pretty questionable. I would highly recommend parking as close to the front entrance as possible. The room was clean and was fine. The dead bolt lock was totally broken and was laughable. Overall the moral of the story is, you get what you pay for.
RrosewamsleyMy family and I stayed in a double bed room. The room was spacious, shower head was nice, hotel was clean and appeared sanitized well. The pool and hot tub were open from 8am to 11pm and both were heated and indoor. The hot tub had a knob for turning on the jet stream for 15 minutes at a time and had a max temp of 104F. The breakfast in the morning was served from 6am to 10am I think. They offered a variety of delicious foods from eggs and sausage, oatmeal, to cereal. The customer service team was very attentive and kind.
This stay would have easily been a 5 star if it had not been for our fire alarm going off in the middle of the night in our room. It sounded like a low battery chirp. The desk attendant wasn't able to assist w turning it off due to an injury (he said), and was not able to offer a safe ladder to attend the issue, but did offer a stepstool. With a family member spotting we were are to place the step stool precariously on the bed to turn the alarm off. Wasn't happy with the resolution but at least it stopped chirping. Definitely not safe.
As an after thought... I didn't realize that it ”could possibly” be the alarm going off to notify of carbon monoxide and thus should have been checked by maintenance or front desk vs me assuming it was a low battery chirp. Luckily all is well and the remaining stay was good. We only got a few hours of sleep, but it was a comfortable stay. I plan to attend again in the future with the hopes of less ”excitement”.
JJalaunii OBoth nights i was there someone “mistook” my room or atleast thats what the front desk said when I called down saying someone keeps trying to open my door. I had ants in the bed DISGUSTING BUT THE BIG NO REFUND SIGN AT FRONT & the fact I booked it through work I didnt even bother complaining. The after hour lock on the back door never actually activated so anyone could walk in the building. Middle of summer & the pool was closed. Immediate area is a little industrial/sketchy but i didnt have any actual issues outside. I gave 2points because parking was ample & great also they pre cooled my room which was great for the 104 texas weather. I will not stay here again but for the price it did its job since i wasnt there except for maybe 8hrs in total.
