"The overall environment was quite nice, and the room was acceptable. However, eating breakfast in the room wasn't ideal. Firstly, the room was small with no suitable dining area; I ate on the platform that day. The selection was fixed, and the food was cold by the time it arrived. There was no hanging area for coats, so there was no place to put any luggage. The minibar wasn't stocked much either, with only three bottles of Perrier, beer, and some other beverage. The bathroom area lacked razors, hair ties, and the most basic toothpaste and toothbrush. At this price, I wouldn't consider staying a second time. It felt like the price and service were only around 700-800 RMB. They offered a pick-up and drop-off service, but the car was unavailable, so I had to take a taxi. They offered to reimburse me, but didn't mention it. The next day, they offered to take us, but I had already indicated I didn't need it and had other plans. I mentioned this in the group chat the night before. It felt neither sophisticated nor modern, trying to provide 1:1 service but failing to pay attention to details. We went straight to the room upon entering; there wasn't even a lobby. Compared to a five-star hotel, it lacked standard procedures. Although I haven't stayed in luxury hotels, I've stayed at Six Senses, Marriott, Westin, W, and similar establishments quite a bit. I've experienced quite a few guesthouses, including Jiurang in Guilin and Nalishu in Gaoligong Mountain, Tengchong—places that are sure to be covered in dirt. Overall, they were neither particularly good nor bad. But they can't be compared to these…"

"Because I have a puppy, I must choose a ”pet-friendly” B&B. I love this one with a small courtyard! You can let the puppy run in the yard🐶 It is very close to Yungang Grottoes. I came directly after seeing the Grottoes. Because of the off-season, the price/performance ratio is really great! The pillows in this B&B are the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I asked the owner directly to ask for the same pillow✔️ The equipment and facilities are also good. The only thing is that the air quality here is very poor and the surrounding environment is average."

"While I've stayed at many high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, this one truly stands out. Its main draw is the exceptional environment, set within ancient city architecture, directly opposite the city walls. The design ensures a new scenic view with every step, exuding elegance – even the stairwells offer a lovely sight. As I'm a vegetarian, I'd informed the butler beforehand, and to my surprise, the breakfast staff remembered perfectly and specially prepared alternative dishes for me. The room was filled with countless complimentary snacks, and I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin seeds and hawthorn strips. Returning in the evening to find a hot bowl of corn paste waiting for me was truly a touching example of service. As a bonus, there's also a small museum, personally guided by the hotel's butler. I highly recommend booking a visit to see the contemporary art with a Datong theme inside; it perfectly complements the Datong Museum. I'll definitely bring my mother here next time."

The facilities are a bit old and the price is high. It must have been glorious back then."

"Living next to the volcano, it was a bit cold at night. The scenery is very good. The front desk added WeChat in advance, and any needs can be responded in time.
