"I had no expectations because the reviews said the view of the Matterhorn was not that good, but it was in a perfect location. I was able to see the Matterhorn at sunrise from my room, and I have fond memories of eating breakfast I bought on the balcony. The bathroom was very clean, and I was able to watch Netflix on the hotel TV by connecting a Chromecast. I forgot my charger adapter, but they lent me one right away, and they also helped me store my luggage before check-in. The hotel's customer service was also great."

"The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout the stay, always willing to assist when needed. Upon arriving in Zermatt and taking the Gornergrat Bahn, it is highly recommended to call the hotel in advance so they can arrange luggage pickup at Riffelberg station. Pulling luggage by yourself can be quite challenging, as the path involves walking through snow and crossing ski areas. One of the highlights of this hotel is the breathtaking and unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The mountain is clearly visible from the hotel area, and there is truly no need to go elsewhere just to enjoy this iconic view. The outdoor jacuzzi is a wonderful feature; however, on some days the water temperature was not warm enough, making it comfortable to use only on certain occasions. Dinner is served as a set course menu. Each evening, there are two main dish options: one meat dish (which changes daily, such as beef, pork, or fish) and one vegetarian option. The food quality is very good and tasty, but the service is relatively slow — completing the full course takes around two hours. The hotel is well equipped with an elevator that provides access to all floors, which is very convenient, especially when carrying belongings."

Beautiful room But the light is too dim. May be more suitable for couples There is a fire (in a glass cabinet) to warm up in the living room. Extra bed was placed in This living room Makes the light from the fire too bright when sleeping. The part in the master bedroom is a glass roof. The curtains block the electric but broken, cannot be used, use manual. This room is very cold, like the heater will not work well."

"The location is very good, the balcony directly overlooks the Matterhorn, as does the restaurant. Although the facilities are a bit old and dated, the accommodation is still very comfortable, and the bed is very comfortable. "The hotel is located directly in the small town, which I personally found more convenient for exploring and dining. The room was just right, offering views of the Matterhorn. It's about a 7-8 minute walk from the train station, though the walk takes you in the opposite direction from the main Matterhorn viewpoints. There was no air conditioning, only heating available, which was perfectly fine during summer as we didn't feel the need for AC."

"Booked a family room for 3 adults and 1 child. Service at front counter is excellent! Courteous, friendly and informative. Also we got upgraded! Room is clean and spacious and has a balcony. On going renovation next door during our stay in Oct 2024. Resort has 2 restaurant at the hotel but one apparently requires reservation and has seating time. We were famished when arrived at the restaurant at 8pm, but were told to come back at 830pm for second seating. Such a disappointment when the front counter service was excellent. Had dinner at the pub instead, food wasn’t too bad. Spa facilities was great. Would stay at the same Ola e again. Value for money"

"Perfect hotel. Thanks to Laginabel for providing us with perfect service and upgrading us to a large apartment with a view of the Matterhorn. Here is a summary of the hotel's features: 1. The hotel is very close to Zermatt Station and View Point. It is very convenient to walk there with a suitcase in about 5 minutes. The hotel also provides a free short-term bus (Zermatt's unique battery car). 2. The hotel itself has first-class facilities, especially the new building No. 3 where we stayed this time. The view is also perfect. You can see the view of the view point from the hotel balcony. The spa facilities are also brand new. There are two outdoor swimming pools, one with a higher water temperature and the other with a slightly lower temperature. Both have surfing and massage functions. 3. The hotel service is first-class. When we checked in, the front desk lady personally took us to the room and gave us a Rome tour. The breakfast is also the most abundant in this trip, with fresh smoked salmon sashimi, various hams, cold cuts, fruits and vegetables are all fresh, and there is homelet. 4. The free bus stop of Zermatt Town is right in front of the hotel, which can go anywhere, including Glacier Paradise, Five Lakes Cable Car Station and Negrat Line Train Station."

"The best hotel in Zermatt, there are fruit nuts, chocolate, red wine, etc. You can have an extra bed, breakfast is great, there are swimming pool, billiards and table tennis. Going to the train station is also specially called a carriage, very good, at checkout The price is 100 Swiss francs more than Ctrip. After watching Ctrip’s order, I immediately refunded 100 Swiss francs. A very good hotel."
