Romantic Hotels in Istanbul

"This was my first time solo traveling and the staff went above and beyond to help me. They even helped me with some ideas for a day out, including restaurant recommendations. At some point a restaurant nearby refused to let me use my Mastercard and I didn’t have cash, the hotel helped me out. They helped me book my cab to the airport too. I can’t stress enough how much I love this hotel. All the pictures were taken from around that area. I walked to the tower and these surroundings almost every day. They also gave me a transportation card so I could use the tram to go to other parts of the city."

"This hotel is excellent, I highly recommend it to everyone. It was our first time booking here, and we were very satisfied. It's conveniently located near Taksim Metro, Istiklal Street is just a 5-minute walk away, Dolmabahçe Palace is a 25-minute walk, and Galata Tower is 20 minutes. The Blue Mosque is about an hour's walk. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and always smiling. They consistently offer complimentary juice, tea, coffee, muffins, and fruit. Breakfast is served on the 5th-floor veranda with a wonderful view. The breakfast selection is varied, even though many reviews mentioned it being repetitive. The lady serving breakfast is very welcoming and can prepare omelets or fried eggs to your liking. You definitely won't leave hungry!"

"The hotel is nicely located and very beautiful inside, including the rooms themselves. However, the hotel hosts a restaurant called Olden 1772, which plays music until 1:00 a.m. This was particularly problematic on Friday and Saturday nights, as the music volume was extremely high and made it almost impossible for me to sleep—especially since my room was located next to the glass door leading to the stairs. Although I always closed the glass door to reduce the noise, guests frequently came and went and left it open, as there was no sign asking them to keep it closed. After two nights, I requested a room change, but I was told the hotel was fully booked. This turned out not to be true, as I would have been able to book another room online myself. I was also informed that the hotel website contains a warning about the music noise, which I could not find—neither before my stay nor afterwards. In addition, upon check‑in I was asked to pay in advance but did not receive an invoice. I was told I would receive it at check‑out. To be on the safe side, I sent an email regarding the invoice the day before departure. At check‑out, no invoice was prepared, and I was told it would be sent later that day via email or WhatsApp. Despite having paid three days earlier, I still have not received any invoice. I would not recommend this five‑star hotel. While the property is attractive and the restaurant offers good food and a nice atmosphere, my overall experience as a guest—especially at this price point—did not make me feel welcome or taken seriously. This is, of course, my personal experience and point of view—others may judge differently."
