JJJJGAn amazing hotel with great location and wonderful service!! A true gem situated down an alley of one of the famous shopping streets in Venice.
Outstanding location: St. Mark’s square, Grand Canal, Bridge of Sigh’s, all these are key attractions which just within walking distance. More importantly easy access to vaporetto stops which can lead to so many other places in Venice, it’s extremely convenient!
Staff are helpful, friendly, attentive and offering to help us on various matters. Excellent service!
Rooms are clean, well decorated with traditional Venetian features, nice flowery design. The room is big and offering very nice and peaceful garden views.
A great continental breakfast was at the courtyard garden, the atmosphere was so relaxed and enjoyed. It was just the right thing and right place to get a day started.
Great value, simply one of my favorites of all time.

Sstarcc100The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right on a high-end shopping street, making it incredibly convenient for exploring on foot. The service is also impeccable; the personalized butler service is excellent, with staff escorting you to your room and handling your luggage. The rooms are generously sized, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. The hotel itself is a beautifully renovated mansion. Its grand staircase offers wonderful photo opportunities, and from the rooftop, you can enjoy the refreshing Adriatic breeze while watching a stunning Venetian sunset. A crucial tip for arrival: absolutely do not follow Google Maps! Do not disembark the water bus too early. Instead, take it all the way to 'G-station' (you might need to check previous reviews for the exact name). From there, the hotel is just a very short walk away.

MM255516****The facility is old but all well functional. Anyways this building can be traced back to year 1879.
All the staff are very friendly.
They have upgraded our room because of honeymoon, really appreciate that.
The interior decoration is very vintage and classic.
The breakfast is really out of our expectation.
Overall a very cost effective choice!
Also, the location is great and it is quite near to the train station, no need to take your luggage to cross the bridges!

If you exit Venice Santa Lucia Train Station, you need to take the Line 5.1 water bus (45-50 minutes) to Lido Station.
It takes 17-20 minutes to walk from Lido S.M.E Station. If you have a lot of luggage, such as (2 pieces/more than 2 pieces), it is recommended to call a car directly. It is quite tiring to walk and push the suitcase.
The hotel room I was given this time was very large, enough for 4 people~ I booked a double bed room for 1-2 people online (at that time, a friend was still waiting to decide whether to join)~ In the end, my friend was not able to join~ But the room the hotel gave me had 3 beds (1 double bed + 2 single beds) which was a bit unexpected~ It is more suitable for family travel.
The hotel environment is very good~ Facing the sea and spring flowers blooming.
There is a courtyard, lawn and chairs at the door of the room for rest ~ a strong seaside villa holiday style ~

But I didn't see any slippers. Of course, you have to get water from the minibar ~ and of course you have to buy it yourself ~ This is similar in European hotels. It's within the expected situation.
For breakfast - the overall difference between hotels in Europe with a price range of 1-1.5k/night is not big: mainly Western style - bread, milk, juice, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee... Chinese stomachs have to overcome themselves.
Travel is also quite convenient. If you need to go to the main island or other islands, walk 1.1 kilometers to Lido Station to take the water bus.

GGuest UserWe had to catch a very early flight and we chose this hotel because of its proximity to Marco Polo airport. The hotel had charm: pleasant, very clean… we had dinner in the bar and highly recommended. We had wonderful baked pizzas.
Finally, and very much appreciated, despite not having had breakfast, since we didn't have time, they had prepared us some coffees with buns to take to the airport.

DDonena WilliamsThis hotel is obviously Old however it is comfortable. I can’t compare it to any of the other hotels there as I haven’t stayed at the others but I will say it has no lift and I was a little concerned how we would get out in the fire. The hallways are long and go round and round like a rabbits Warren.
My overall stay was pleasant and the best thing about it was the awesome breakfast. If you do decide to stay ask for the front terrace rooms I believe they’re not so claustrophobic.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent. just beside Venezia Santa Lucia station, which made it very convenient for travel. Check-in was smooth, and they offered complimentary luggage storage, which was a nice touch. I didn’t get to try the included breakfast since I had to leave early for my packed itinerary. However, the elevator doesn’t reach the top floor where our room was, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Unfortunately, both my brother and I got bed bug bites during our stay, which was very disappointing. The place has a great location, but cleanliness and maintenance really need improvement.

Hotel Malibran may be rated three stars, but the service is top-tier. Everyone, from the concierge to housekeeping, kitchen staff, and waiters, works with genuine warmth. You’re greeted with smiles, and you can tell they’re proud of what they do.
Special thanks to Salvo at the front desk. He’s a standout. Speaks multiple languages, including Chinese. Professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. He gave me a personalized trip plan, listed local spots worth visiting, and never got tired of my questions. Rare to find this level of care.
The room: clean, compact, and comfortable. Good enough for working online without any issues.
The included breakfast is decent: breads, cheeses, hams, and cold cuts. Drink choices are solid too.
The hotel is close to Rialto Bridge, which means the area’s prices can be high, but the convenience and access are unbeatable.
Would absolutely stay again. The staff alone make it worth it.
