Beautiful hotel in bush setting. Only 5 minute walk up the pathway to Viewing Station 2 and above that is Viewing Station 3. Enjoyed not being surrounded by other hotels. Parking is very close by with a 10 minute walk up steps. I booked corner room. So worth it. Have the sunrise view from lying in bed. Lovely dinner and breakfast, huge portions. The owner is very sweet.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in the Longji Rice Terraces! We visited during the off-season and were among the few guests, which made the experience even more special. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking scenery were truly unforgettable. During our stay, the temperature was around 10°C, so it was quite cold. We definitely recommend bringing warm clothing, as the rooms can get chilly. However, the hosts made sure we were comfortable – they even let us sit by the heated stove in the living area to warm up, which was such a cozy experience. The hospitality was outstanding – the hosts took such loving and attentive care of us, making us feel right at home.

Our stay was really nice and we enjoyed the view, fresh air and nature. The service was also friendly and helpful. She was really patient with our translating and was so kind to book us a car to get us to our next destination. We will for sure remember her kindness. Further, we must recommend her dish: beef potatoes. It was sooo tasty and spiced like Chinese-Western cuisine. Important: Our arrival was quite a journey booking a driver to drive us from Guilin to Longji. You must know that it is far away and you can’t drive to the hotel, only to the entry of the Longji Scenic area. There you have to buy tickets for the area if you did not book it in advance. There are some discounts for specific people, just translate the sign with the prices. After paying the entry ticket, you should buy a ticket for the sightseeing bus to take you up to your hotel. It is really a long way - wouldn’t recommend walking uphill to the hotel. The bus ticket also includes a return from your hotel back to the entry. Overall, recommending visiting the area and staying at the hotel.

Was very pleased I chose the place as host is very friendly n helpful .they make sure that I got onto the bus in time to catch my train n follow up by checking with me after I left the place. Enjoyed the homecooked food especially the tofu make by the host . Enjoyed drinking their home make rice wine at the balcony facing the rice terrace. The name of the hostel is One Family, and that is exactly what you will get here, since the second day I found myself sitting at the table with the whole family running the place feeling sort of part of this family. On top of that, the owner is part of the local minority living in Ping'ancun, so culturally it doesn't get more authentic than this! But what I truly want to stress is the kindness and helpfulness of the owner's son (whose name I unfortunately have forgotten). He gave me a lot of interesting insights about the history and culture of Ping'ancun, which was truly fascinating. In addition, he gave me advice about my travels, and, ultimately, I would follow his tips seeing some of the most outstanding places in China. So, if you need info and tips about a China travel itinerary, you are also at a good place here. Lastly, the room was like being in a hut on top of a mountain. Surely not as luxurious as other hotels in the area, yet again if you look for something authentic, go here.

my friend and i arrived at the hotel pretty late and we were greeted so nicely and got to order some warm soup (the portions are huge, so you’ll never be hungry!) before being kindly escorted to our room. we also got a free upgrade and got to have a better view to the mountains. i believe it is a family business and every woman working there made us feel at home and safe. the food is absolutely delicious and the prices are great. it is very comfortable to be staying at a hotel up in the hills and to just go downstairs and have the greatest meal ever. we recommend trying the salty fish with eggplants and the fried rice, as they were our favourites. the rooms themselves were very warmly decorated and they have air conditioning, as well as wifi. we also had some laundry to wash and everything got taken care of. we got to have barbecue with some of the other guests that stayed there and once our last day arrived they all helped us book a bus ticket to yangshuo and drove us to the bus station the next day. our experience there was so wholesome and we would recommend to everyone visiting this nice family and try their absolutely amazing food :D
