Pet Friendly Hotels in Linzhou

We booked this guesthouse on Trip.com in advance for our self-driving trip to the Taihang Grand Canyon during the Spring Festival. The overall experience was warm and hassle-free. The owner provides butler-style service, proactively calling to confirm our needs before our arrival and even coming to the parking lot to help with our luggage after we got there. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The guesthouse is located on the north side of Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon, only 5 kilometers from the scenic area, making it very convenient for self-driving. There's a public parking lot about 1 kilometer south that supports EV charging, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists. I stayed in a lake-view king room, which came with a huge scenic balcony offering an expansive view directly facing the beautiful Taihang mountain scenery. The views in the morning and evening were particularly therapeutic. The only minor drawback was that the indoor space was a bit compact, and the bathroom layout was similar to an RV design – fully functional but a bit cramped. The dining experience was a big plus. Breakfast could be delivered directly to the room, with a rich variety of fresh ingredients that tasted simple yet delicious. The guesthouse also offers lunch and dinner, with authentic local flavors and good value for money. What delighted my child the most was a gentle and friendly dog living at the guesthouse, which added a lot of fun to our trip. Overall, it's a cozy guesthouse very suitable for family road trips and getting closer to nature.

The boss and his wife are very kind and welcoming, and the room is clean and tidy. The location is excellent, in the core area of slate, close to the Grand Canyon scenic spot. Push the window to see the scenery, in front of the door is the river of slate, and you can play in 2 minutes with your children out. The boss is very good at cooking, breakfast, lunch and dinner are clean and hygienic, and there is a taste. Especially the cauliflower, the cauliflower wrapped noodles are steamed and fried. When I eat the first bite, how do I feel that I have eaten the best dish, it is so delicious! The practice is creative!

The room was very warm and the food was very delicious. I ate at the homestay for two consecutive nights and was clean and hygienic. The boss is very enthusiastic and responsive. He helped us set a two-day play route. It is highly recommended to take the elderly and children to save worry and effort.

I thought of playing in the Red Banner Canal, and I chose this one after seeing that the hotel evaluation was not bad. The boss is very enthusiastic, helping to introduce travel guides, and also introducing problems related to eating. The room is very hygienic, no smell, and the layout is simple and generous. Hot water is sufficient. Very quiet at night, the bed was very comfortable to sleep, and I slept until dawn. There is its own parking lot and parking is very convenient. Eating around is also OK.

Dongluyuan Hotel had been on my wishlist for a long time, and this time I finally visited the Taihang Mountains with my friends and stayed at this beautifully designed hotel. The hotel's design clearly demonstrates the designer's fusion of humanity and nature, South and North, East and West. Nestled at the foot of the Taihang Mountains, it incorporates the mountain scenery into its landscape; the ubiquitous slate is a testament to its rural roots; pavilions and flowing water cleverly blend with the southern garden style; the Western restaurant combines with the courtyard's orchard, rockery, and earthen kiln, adding a touch of European style. With such a beautiful view, I initially thought the food would be mediocre, but Dongluyuan's dining truly impressed us. Local ingredients combined with the chef's fusion cuisine skills resulted in two days of trying various dishes on the menu, all of which were delightful surprises! The Chinese restaurant was particularly outstanding! The Western restaurant also had a wonderful atmosphere; the kiln-baked pizza oven was perfectly heated, and the pizza crust was perfectly fermented—better than many chain restaurants! The service was impeccable, with attentive butler service. All our needs were met quickly, and the gentle attitude made us feel very comfortable. The room offers stunning views of the Taihang Mountains and Taihang Pavilion. If I had to make a suggestion, I'd appreciate a separate shower and toilet area in the bathroom, a humidifier for winter, and a chair and small table on the balcony – such a beautiful view would be perfect for two people to enjoy tea together. There are two rows of bungalows with a hydropower station at the back. The standard room we booked is the bungalow in the first row. With the doors and windows closed at night, we didn’t hear the hum of the hydropower station. It was quiet at night and we slept well. The bathing water is very large, and the restaurant is also very convenient, right in front of this row of bungalows. However, what needs to be improved is the service here. When I first came here, no one asked or took care of me. I didn’t know where to park my car. I asked someone and they said I could park anywhere. I went to the hotel front desk to check in. It wasn't until I found the restaurant that I realized that the front desk was the restaurant bar. The power went out twice, although only for a few minutes. Overall, it's okay.

Very good, the boss is very enthusiastic, just arrived at the boss to help parking, take luggage, send upstairs, I booked a big bed room, not very satisfied, the boss gave me a standard room, there is free breakfast, very close to the scenic spot, just walk away, very satisfied with a stay, give the boss a thumbs up!

Staying in the off-season, I turned on the floor heating and air conditioning, and took me to Gaojiatai Village to play, thank you very much. The Grand Canyon in winter is relatively deserted, but the mountains are still beautiful when the weather is good. Outside normal attractions, it is recommended to climb Luban Huo, Taihang Tianlu can walk three kilometers in front, and the villages and terraces on the cliff side are very distinctive.
