SSucha manThe location is excellent, just a short walk from UD Town. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. It also had a balcony, which was handy for drying clothes. Storage space could be a bit tight if you have large luggage. In our room, the bathroom door didn't lock, and the glass shower door didn't close completely. There was also no hairdryer. Breakfast was decent. However, seating in the dining area was quite limited, and we had to queue for a table. This might have been due to rain, which made the outdoor seating unusable on the day we visited. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would still recommend this place. The staff were very helpful.
NNoLimI’ve always stayed at Centara Udon whenever I visited Udon Thani, but this time, I decided to try something different and booked Clay Udon.
The street outside was quiet at night, unlike the livelier surroundings of Centara. Which, on some nights, I could still hear music from nearby pubs until around 3 a.m.
The room door at Clay Udon might need better soundproofing — on my last night, I could even hear my neighbour snoring!
Thankfully, I always pack earplugs, so overall, the stay was still comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. I wouldn’t mind staying here again, especially since it’s slightly more affordable than Centara.
GGuest UserThe room was average, but I don't like a smell in the room. Maybe it will be better if the hotel puts some perfume. Likewise, I saw a big insect in my bedroom. The receptionist was really sorry about it. I do understand because this is a rainy season. However, it will be better if they look more careful to it.
MM11145****The front desk service was excellent, though the room itself was pretty standard. The location is fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere. Right downstairs, there's a massage parlor and a bar catering to an older Western crowd. Overall, it's very convenient for a short stay, and you're right next to places to grab a drink.
YYoyongyoThe hotel has a beautiful environment and is 3 kilometers away from the night market. The hotel has a large swimming pool. There is a children's pool and an adult diving pool. The hotel has a fitness room, but unfortunately there are only two treadmills and one space walk. The hotel room is large, the pillows are too high, and there are not many choices for breakfast. I hope the hotel can improve it.
PPimodismimigirlI stayed at this hotel for a short trip and found the location to be very convenient. It’s within walking distance to the bus terminal and Central shopping mall, which made getting around super easy. The hotel also has good parking space, which is a plus for those traveling by car.
The room was clean and tidy, but there were a few downsides. There’s no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it might be a bit of a hassle. The amenities provided were very minimal — just two bottles of water and two small bars of soap. There was no tissue paper in the bathroom, which was quite inconvenient.
One thing to note is that when you check in, you need to leave a 100 baht cash deposit for the key. You’ll get it back when you check out, but it’s something to keep in mind.
The staff didn’t seem to speak much English and weren’t particularly friendly, which made communication a little difficult.
Overall, the location and cleanliness were good, but the lack of basic amenities and service left something to be desired.
NNewton_jennerService was the highlight of the stay. The staff went out of their way to ensure every guest felt welcome. From arranging airport transfers to providing recommendations for local dining and tours, their genuine friendliness made the experience feel personal. They greeted us with warm smiles every morning and remembered small details about our preferences, which left a lasting impression.
GGuest UserThis is a really nice hotel. The price is amazing. The shower was so powerful. I loved it. The room was clean, the mattress was soft. I would definitely stay here again. One thing to note, the lobby was a little messy. But you don’t spend any time in the lobby. I think this was a great deal.
