It was nice because it was well cleaned. However, the lighting was weak and the room was pitch black. (There was a light by the bed.) The shared space was bright, but there was no air conditioning, so it was hot. This time I was the only guest, so it was fine, but I think you'll have to be careful when it's crowded.

Napalai Hotel, Udon Thani 🇹🇭 | Great Value for the Price I recently stayed at Napalai Hotel in Udon Thani, and overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience — especially considering the price I paid. 📍 Location The hotel is in a convenient location and not too far from Udon Thani Airport. Getting around is easy, and Grab is readily available, so having your own car isn’t really necessary. 🏨 First Impression & Check-in As soon as I arrived, I could tell that Napalai is one of Udon Thani’s more established, traditional hotels. The property may not feel brand-new or modern, but it has the atmosphere of a classic full-service hotel. Check-in was quick and straightforward. There was a THB 500 refundable key deposit required at check-in. 🛏️ The Room The room came with all the basic amenities I needed, including shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Everything was well prepared and practical for a short stay. There was also a complimentary minibar, which was a nice little bonus. 🍳 Breakfast Breakfast was actually one of the highlights of my stay. The selection was quite impressive, especially for a hotel at this price point. There was a good mix of Western dishes, Thai food, and local specialties, along with desserts and fresh fruit. There were plenty of choices, and it felt like a proper hotel breakfast rather than just a simple morning meal. 💰 Value for Money I paid around THB 800 for the night, including breakfast, and at that price, I think Napalai Hotel offers very good value. It may not be the newest hotel in town, but if you’re looking for a convenient location, a comfortable stay, complete basic amenities, and a surprisingly good breakfast without spending too much, this is definitely a solid option in Udon Thani. My experience at this hotel is very good in term of cleanliness,location and service ,it's quite near the railway station and UD nigth 's mkt even Central Dept is walkable.The attractive place is around there and massage shop is albg the walk way.

The hotel's location is excellent, with shopping, massages, and dining all conveniently close by. 7-11 and a night market are within a 10-minute walk. The breakfast offers a great variety, and the front desk staff are wonderful, always smiling. Definitely worth rebooking in the future!

The hotel is beautiful, offering a swimming pool, restaurant/bar, and also plenty of car parking space. The room is simple and clean, however some plugs are not working, and the sound proof are not that good, the family guest next door talking whole night and keep walking at the corridor which affected our rest

A very clean large hotel big rooms spotlessly clean comfy beds and good bath and shower. Large swimming pool with sunbeds. Good selection of food for breakfast. Staff very polite. Plenty of parking

During my visit, the key was location and value. The latter was terrific. The hotel is extraordinarily convenient and a short walk to Central Plaza. Even though it’s on a main street, rooms (moderate size ) in the back of the hotel are remarkably quiet. The rooftop pool (7th fl) is accessible only by a long climb up two sets of stairs. The exercise room is small and in need of renovation.

Good location, not far from Central Mall. Breakfast was nice. Our standard room double bed was very small, the pictures made it look bigger when I booked it. Aircon was very noisy, only stayed one night . Staff were good, pool was nice.
