Accommodation was lovely and centrally located to shirarahama beach. It was a 3 minute walk from the bus stop. It was well stocked with amenities and the room was large and clean. The lady boss is Chinese so you can communicate by Chinese. They are incredibly kind and helped me get to the hospital when I injured my ankle. They are people that you can trust. Breakfast was also delicious! Chinese food is yummy and a nice break from Japanese cuisine.

I rented this hot spring hotel in Baibin this time. I personally feel that it is very worthwhile. The room is clean, there is a separate bathroom and a private style. When I checked in, the staff proposed to drink at the lounge. The small gift and the toiletries were the same. We immediately sighed and sighed. Two cups of draft beer, this arrangement is very intimate. Dinner can be arranged at 6 or 7 o'clock. The ingredients are very rich. The abalone is delicious, and the Kumano and the cattle are delicious. Every time the staff at the meal has an explanation, although the communication is difficult, but the squatting is very dedicated to using Google translate translation than mine. The service is really unbearable. I originally bought the plum wine and planned to drink in the room. I was worried about how to ask them to drink ice cubes. I knew that as soon as I entered the room, there was a large edible ice bucket to place the cabinet. I immediately felt that the hotel was really intimate! The second morning breakfast can be picked at 9 o'clock, because we plan to get up and soak in the hot spring again, breakfast is also rich, eat to take a belly room. Overall, this experience is good, it is worth recommending!

I spent three days in Shirahama, staying here for two nights. The hotel service, food, and onsen experience were absolutely fantastic! The owner is Chinese, and the staff speaks Mandarin. The service was the best I've ever experienced. Compared to the expensive ocean view and onsen rooms recommended on Douban, it was incredibly cost-effective. Free shuttle service to Shirahama Station was provided. Soaking in the onsen at night with the sea breeze was wonderful, and afterwards, there was delicious ice cream! Meals need to be booked a day in advance and there's a high-quality seafood selection. The sukiyaki set meal is probably the highest-rated restaurant in Shirahama and definitely worth trying! The room provided tea and teaware, which was great, and offered a partial sea view. The decor was very tasteful! My trip to Shirahama has come to a perfect end!

You definitely need a car to stay at this hotel, and the check-in area is not in the same building; you have to go up a bit. However, the staff are all very helpful and nice. Another big issue is that there aren't many restaurants nearby. For dinner, there's only one restaurant, and you have to check if it's open, or you can cook yourself, but the supermarket isn't close. At night, there are very few streetlights, so it's quite dark. The room needs the beds to be made.

As I write this review, my thoughts are overflowing. I recall all my experiences in Japan, the diverse people I met, and the fun I had with friends. I don't know what to write; perhaps it's just my personality—not good with words. But I enjoy quietly caring for others. First, I want to thank Mr. Yamamoto for his warm hospitality. I greeted this gentleman in my limited Japanese, knowing only a few phrases. I wanted to say something, but my language skills are limited, which is a pity. Meeting is truly fate. I don't know if I'll meet my landlord again in Japan, but I think I will if I return to Shirahama. As the saying goes, ”Though the room is humble, its virtue is fragrant,” and it is this traditional tatami that carries on a long-standing culture. I don't know what kind of work I'll do in the future, or whether I'll be happy, but during my time in Shirahama, I experienced what true life is. If you'd like to experience Japanese tatami, I think you should choose this guesthouse. There's also a hot spring, but unfortunately, my leg was injured, so I couldn't soak. A truly satisfying hotel in Shirahama! All facilities and the main building are accessible, and the hot springs and foot bath are excellent. The room wasn't small, and even though it was facing the road, it was incredibly quiet at night. The sea breeze was so pleasant! Shirahama is a lot of fun, and I'll definitely stay at Key 1 again next time! The location is super convenient; it's easy to walk to everything nearby. I even walked to the local beer factory for a refreshing pint – fantastic!

This was my second stay at Shirahama-kan, and as before, I booked a room with a foot bath. Although the hotel is a bit old, the room was very spacious with three beds, and my child and I slept very comfortably. The location is right in the center of the beach; you just cross the road to get to Shirahama Beach. There are also many restaurants nearby, as well as a 24-hour supermarket and Daiso for shopping. The hotel service was very warm and welcoming. There's even a kitchen in the hotel, so you can buy meat from the big supermarket and grill it yourself. Highly recommended!

We had a really wonderful stay here. The restaurant’s dishes were very unique and memorable. The only downside was that the room was quite bright during the day, and the soundproofing wasn’t very good, so we could often hear noises from outside.

Located in the coastal tourist city of Wakayama Baibin~ 6 people and three rooms are just right. The room is very clean and in place. The furniture and tableware are also in place. In addition, we also rented bbQ for a party. It was great. Will continue to stay next time! I just saw the colorful glow in the sky. It was very beautiful. It was a good time.

Grampus Shirahama A modest hotel right near the ocean. The room was clean, but the air conditioning was all dirty. I wouldn’t want to stay here in summer. The breakfast was nearly the same as in every other hotel in Japan, though the grilled fish was a bit stale. The dining room has a wonderful view over the ocean. The staff almost didn’t speak English but tried to help anyways. Plus: the hotel has its own onsen. Minus: no bathroom in the rooms, only toilets on the floor, no shower.
