Booked the most expensive room type for two nights. There was dust on the headboard and mold on the wood in the shower. I came specifically for the onsen (hot spring) service, which turned out to be even more frustrating. The language barrier made things worse. For both breakfast and dinner, they always seated us in a corner, leaving prime tables with good views empty, seemingly just to avoid seating Chinese guests there. The onsen service was a joke. I booked a private Iwaoto bath. Went down at 10 PM to queue and waited 40 minutes. Finally got the wooden key tag. It was so dark, and the attendant guarding the onsen entrance wasn't around. In my haste, I made a mistake and went into the large mixed-gender outdoor bath at the very bottom. After changing into the yukata for the mixed bath, we realized this wasn't the private bath we had booked, as there were many people in the large pool. Coincidentally, I was holding my phone, trying to check the onsen map I'd taken a picture of earlier, when the attendant (an older woman) assumed I was taking photos. At this point, I was utterly speechless. The attendant immediately told us we were in the wrong place and accused me of not following the rules. Instead of guiding us to the correct private bath, she took my private bath key away and wouldn't let us use it. I had no choice but to climb back up to the front desk to explain to the receptionist. The receptionist was also helpless, as the attendant had given my key to other guests and was still fuming, saying I broke the rules and couldn't bathe. Why couldn't I, a guest, even explain myself? Later, after the attendant left, I spoke to the front desk staff again. After another wait, I finally got to use the bath from 11:30 PM until midnight, a mere 30 minutes. 😂 The next evening, booking a spa massage downstairs was even stranger. I clearly booked a 60-minute aromatherapy massage for 10,800 JPY on the app. When it was over, the masseuse tried to rip us off, presenting a bill for a 90-minute massage for 16,900 JPY. I was speechless when I saw it back in my room. 😑 Thankfully, Trip.com customer service helped me resolve it. I also had my email booking confirmation as proof, so I wasn't scammed in the end. Seriously, don't ever come here. And some Japanese tourists are prejudiced against us, especially the young, unattractive Japanese women.

Morning hot spring baths ♨️ with a fridge full of Yakult for you to enjoy. From 4-5 PM, there's a free-flow beer session, followed by Japanese mochi from 5-6 PM. And don't forget the unlimited ramen from 10-11 PM!

The environment is truly top-notch, and with a bus stop right outside, getting around is quite convenient. I checked in right on time, got to pick my favorite yukata, and even booked a private onsen. I especially loved the path leading to the private onsen; it felt so serene.

The room was on the second floor. Make sure to keep the screen door closed, or you'll get mosquitoes and small bugs. The food wasn't great, but the environment was pretty good. In the afternoon, there are complimentary soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, and in the evening, if you don't have dinner, there are light bites, plus late-night ramen.

This onsen hotel is right by the sea. We had a room with a 180-degree unbeatable ocean view, a super spacious room, and a huge balcony. The hotel's facilities, management, and service are all top-notch. There's a large public bath, a mixed-gender bath, and several private onsen rooms. The hotel is not far from Sandanbeki and Senjojiki, easily reachable on foot. Highly recommend! 👍

This is an excellent hotel with a unique mixed sex onsen facing the ocean with sunset view in addition to free private onsens as well as public sex-separated onsens! The room view overlooks the sea as well as Engetsu Island. Dinner and breakfast are excellent! Strongly recommend!

The hotel facility is excellent and perfectly clean with a high-class traditional japanese service standard. Our room was a deluxe room with private hot spring tub. It's a little pricy while I think it's perfect to celebrate the anniversary with my wife. Dinner and breakfast were good, while it may not be the best comparing with other hotels in the major cities. The sightseeing points are also within 5-10 mins driving distance from the hotel. We expected to watch the sunset at the balcony, while on that day the weather was a bit cloudy so we didn't take a nice photo here.

This is a very typical Japanese hotel with traditional Japanese service. The four hot spring baths are perfect for anyone who enjoys soaking. The rooms are good and the facilities are complete. However, the breakfast was very, very mediocre.
