You can experience the ancient cave hotel, all the staff are friendly, the breakfast is delicious and there is nothing lacking. One of the things I liked and remember during my trip to Matera❤️

This is probably the best hotel in Matera based on what we read before traveling. The service is exceptional , very helpful and friendly staff. The room is spacious, very clean and cozy. We had a small balcony with a very nice room. The restaurant that was recommended to us was also amazing. Highly recommend!

Everything is good about this hotel. Breakfast is the best in my two weeks Italy trip. Just one suggestion: please ask for a shuttle at the parking if you drive to Matera. Otherwise it is hard to walk there with luggage and you will easily lost in similar small roads.

It's a small botique hotel, the front staff is really friendly, they helped to call the taxi, made restaurant for us and kept our luggage before and after our check out and all these done with a 😊. Location is fabulous too, sassi is veey near and good view point!

Located in the heart of Matera, which means you can’t get there by car, but the views and the room made up for the challenge of getting to it. Everyone was very professional. The room was large, clean and suited our needs. It felt like we were staying in someone’s mansion.

Hotel was perfect location for the price just outside of a matera and only a 10 minute drive to the historic sassi area Floors in the washroom were peeling from use and showers had a bit of mold on the bottom edges for the price can't be beat with the free breakfast

Piazza Mulino is well located close to the center of Matera within easy walking distance of the Sassi. It is a simple place, very clean, and comfortable. Great value for money.
