"The first thing I have to mention is that thankfully the staff assists you with your luggage even at 6:15 am! Matera is a series of ups and downs and being high up near the Duomo affords you breathtaking views from the bar and terrace. The room was nice, clean but was not the show stopper. The restaurant and bar staffs were wonderful, the front desk, while very helpful, did not exude that warm feeling that the wait staff did. Overall a great stay and if in Matera again we would definitely return to the quarry."

"The view from this hotel is absolutely stunning; you can see the entire Sassi district at a single glance. It’s also very easy to access by taxi, which is a huge plus in Matera. The room was spotless, including the bathroom and sink, and the staff welcomed us with such warmth. The breakfast was delicious, but the view from the breakfast area was the real highlight. Having breakfast here felt like a sightseeing experience in itself. If you're coming to Matera, I highly recommend staying at this hotel!"

"A wonderful place to stay with staff that was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was quite big and had all the modern facilities we could want, such as TV, a big bathroom with a rain shower, shower necessities, towels for the swimming pool. We had a private terrace that looked out over the fields that surround the masseria. It is located a couple kilometers outside of Matera, making it perfect for visiting the city but also enjoying a peaceful vacation. The breakfast is extensive and they offer to the option to have dinner too, which I definitely recommend trying at least once. "
