Locanda di San Martino Hotel & Thermae Romanae

The Saadi experience was amazing. The hotel was unique. The locacion of my room however was quite far from the main building, it takes a long walk up and down the Sassi with a lot of steps although a man was sent to help with my luggage, by the time I got to the room I had no idea how I would go back to the main area to have my breakfast the next morning. My cave next door people from Norway had the same worries. The room was huge with a spa, beautifully set up for a family of 3 or 4. I was there solo 😊 it was quite a experience:)

Nice view. We took lift from the reception. Bfast is limited. Room is a cave size. Nice spa.

We stayed in this cave hotel for one night. It feels like something special being in that kind of hotel. The room is very big and has a nice bathroom. The breakfast was also diverse and yummy. You can optionally book Spa, Massage, … if you like. The location is also great, it is in the middle of the old town.

Good Service, location is also great! the room we booked is in the upper floor with direct access to outdoors, no need to pass through other rooms. Breakfast is buffet type with many options on pastry.

It was an unusual experience. First of all, the receptionist was very kind and checked me in early. The hotel was clean, and I enjoyed the unique, pleasant feeling of staying in a cave throughout my visit. The breakfast was simple; the only thing I didn't like was that the kettle contained warm water instead of boiling water—tea really requires boiling water. I would stay at this hotel again. Thank you.🤩

Perfect little getaway! Especially the swimming pool and the dining area are something special. We loved the town and definitely come back another time!
