A beautiful hotel in an old building in the heart of the city. The breakfast was very good with plenty pf choice. The only issue was the heating in the bathroom which wasnât working and despite requests to the front desk wasnât fixed

The hotel is well located just off the M4 with plenty of parking. Check-in was efficient and the staff were friendly throughout. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet for a motorway location. Breakfast offered a good variety and service was attentive. A dependable choice for a short stay or stopover in Reading.

After requesting a quiet room due to having our 11 month old with us we were placed directly above the function suite for a wedding and while testing the sound system the floor below are feet curated and the noise was crazy. The moved us rooms out of the original Manor House we requested and into the furthest room possible from all amenities on offer smaller than our original room, 3rd floor and no lift with a baby in a pram and lots of luggage. The room was also unbearably hot and a crazy sensor/light in the bathroom kept our son (and them us) all night. Not sure if recommended staying here. .

I had a fantastic stay The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept better than I have in a long time. The room was quiet, clean, and cozy perfect for a good nightâs rest. Iâll definitely be coming back.
