The room was good, not as bad as some online reviews suggested. The soundproofing wasn't great, and the location was a bit out of the way, but otherwise, it was pretty good. The breakfast was decent, and the food tasted nice. The front desk staff were excellent, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. I'd definitely choose this place again for future visits.

Proper five-star praise! The location belongs to the locals in the old city to build their own houses, so Wangzhong is quiet, about 5 minutes walk to eat a lot (snack), the room is large, set new and clean.

We stayed one night in Zhaoqing during our road trip, and this new hotel was fantastic. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and efficient. Food delivery to the room was handled by a robot, which was cool. The executive lounge offered dinner, though the selection was a bit limited; I'd suggest adding a simple noodle bar. The room had plenty of counter space for our belongings, and the balcony had a drying rack. I loved that the balcony door was linked to the air conditioning – the AC turns off when the door is open, which is great for preventing energy waste if you forget to close it. The views were also beautiful, and its location right off the highway is super convenient for drivers. Plus, the parking was completely free! When we checked out, the front desk lady even gave us some fruit (I asked her name but I'm so sorry, I forgot it!). Overall, a really excellent stay.

My stay at the Vienna Hotel in Zhaoqing was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is spotless, with rooms that are always kept clean, comfortable, and well stocked with water, toiletries, and all the essentials. The staff are exceptionally warm and attentive — they go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and cared for throughout your stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the fresh fruits provided in my room and the mooncakes they gave me to take home. The location is another highlight. Just across the street is a beautiful park, perfect for exercising, taking peaceful walks, or simply sitting and observing daily local life. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and charming, giving you a real sense of peace and security. Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby, and in the evenings, the streets come alive with small food stalls offering authentic Chinese flavors — a delightful way to experience local culture. Overall, Vienna Hotel in Zhaoqing exceeded my expectations. With its cleanliness, excellent service, welcoming staff, and ideal location, it offers both comfort and a genuine sense of connection to the community. I would absolutely love to return and stay here again.

Very elegante, cozy boutique hotel. Waterfront by the lake. Very relaxing. The decor and ambient is really nice. Room very spacious, very well decorated. We stayed in the lake view room with bathtub, great balcon facing the lake and street with falling blossom flowers. Free daily fruits in bedroom. Staff very welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast from the hotel, limited to Chinese food, noodles, vegetables, eggs. Enough but lack of other options. Nice rooftop terrace to relax or enjoy breakfast. Hotel is in a quit street, next to some bistro restaurants and convenience store. Walking distance from downtown with malls and a lot of restaurants, about 15 minutes. Good to ride bicicles, take long walks. Extra tip, we found a wine celler nearby, great atmosphere for a glass of wine, called 'moon lounge'. 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We were not expecting new year's eve celebration but had the surprise of a lot to explore outside along the lake, with street food, vendors, games and performance. Also fireworks that we could watch from the hotel balcony. Really nice reflections on the lake. To come back again.

Ji Hotel overall is very good, I have stayed quite a lot of Ji Hotel at different place. Normally I rated Ji Hotel with excellent service but for this time I will only rate ”1” due to the front desk staff were not friendly, I stayed here 3 nights only one front desk young  lady (戴黑框眼睛的小姐姐) was friendly to us, the rest were very rude and unfriendly , especially is the lady look like manager (the one with the black jacket), when we are check in, she is stand at the front desk and look us like ”alien”, this make us uncomfortable. For my next trip to Zhao Qing, I'LL NOT LOOK FOR THIS JI HOTEL AGAIN.

We stayed in a family room made up of two connected rooms, which was spacious enough for our needs, though it only had one toilet. The hotel is centrally located with plenty of eateries nearby, making it very convenient for meals. However, on the third day of our stay, the toilet bowl became badly clogged and could not be flushed after use. The hotel did send staff up to clear the blockage, but it was still quite inconvenient, especially for a family room with only one bathroom.

The hotel is located 40 minutes away from GZ South railway station, and 40 minutes Zhaoqing East train station in a great area, 10 minute walk from Scenic areas and the lake. I had a lake view room which was comfortable. There are many restaurants around and you can take boats on the lake to visit different beautiful areas. It is not easy to find at first and as there is no reception and you cannot check-in, so ensure you contact them previously (I called the hotel and got their wechat, we communicated that way). They will give you your room code so you can enter. We had issues with the code and after sending a message a man came very soon to help. The rooms smelled a bit of smoke and they were non-smoking. There is no breakfasts included but plenty of shops around to buy bread, fruit juices, tea shops, luckin coffee, 7 eleven, supermarket, etc. We enjoyed the Thai restaurant just outside the hotel and the Italian Restaurant on the 2nd floor when getting out.

The hotel is easy to find, the environment is comfortable, you can see the lake, downstairs 🈶 cafe, suitable for a family of three to four, the boss is very good, and also 🈶 shared bicycles, you can ride around the lake, very convenient.

This hotel was truly a delight! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. They helped with our luggage and checked us in, and were incredibly helpful. The room was spotless, the sheets and duvet cover were odorless, and the air conditioning was fast and quiet. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and all the toiletries were complete. The food nearby was delicious and tasty. This hotel also offers a late check-out option at 3 p.m., and if you left anything behind, you can contact the hotel and they'll ship it back immediately. The service was excellent, and the value for money was fantastic. Highly recommended!
