GGuest UserThe facilities and environment are very new. Being a standalone hotel, it's independently operated, so there aren't many people coming and going, making it very safe and clean. The high ceilings prevent any feeling of being cramped, truly a great place to relax! The room is spacious and very clean, though it was missing a sofa. The bathroom is large, and showering is very comfortable with excellent water pressure and quick drainage. Breakfast isn't independently run by the hotel, but the variety is rich, and refills are prompt, though dairy products were missing. All the staff greet you with a smile, especially the cleaning staff who have an excellent service attitude. The price is incredibly reasonable! I'll definitely come again!

XXiaohongtongxueProper five-star praise! The location belongs to the locals in the old city to build their own houses, so Wangzhong is quiet, about 5 minutes walk to eat a lot (snack), the room is large, set new and clean.

GGuest UserExcellent value for the buck. The room is super spacious and very clean as it’s only 2yrs new. It is a boutique stay with un-manned check-in, we had some issue since we don’t have mainland ID card but the wechat CSR helped us obtain the room card by remoting the kiosks. The only complaint we have is the AC was underpowered for the room size, it was fine to stay in but if you need colder room temp like 18c then it can’t give you that. It’s in a new developed neighborhood, many of the residential are quite new and mostly vacant which is very common in China. The good thing is its next to the large mall, so getting the cookie cutting beverage like Changee, Heytea, and starbucks was convenience. The mall isn’t as busy as the ones closer to the old town area. If you drive its not a issue.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Vienna Hotel in Zhaoqing was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is spotless, with rooms that are always kept clean, comfortable, and well stocked with water, toiletries, and all the essentials. The staff are exceptionally warm and attentive — they go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and cared for throughout your stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the fresh fruits provided in my room and the mooncakes they gave me to take home.
The location is another highlight. Just across the street is a beautiful park, perfect for exercising, taking peaceful walks, or simply sitting and observing daily local life. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and charming, giving you a real sense of peace and security. Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby, and in the evenings, the streets come alive with small food stalls offering authentic Chinese flavors — a delightful way to experience local culture.
Overall, Vienna Hotel in Zhaoqing exceeded my expectations. With its cleanliness, excellent service, welcoming staff, and ideal location, it offers both comfort and a genuine sense of connection to the community. I would absolutely love to return and stay here again.

The decor and ambient is really nice.
Room very spacious, very well decorated. We stayed in the lake view room with bathtub, great balcon facing the lake and street with falling blossom flowers.
Free daily fruits in bedroom.
Staff very welcoming and helpful.
We had breakfast from the hotel, limited to Chinese food, noodles, vegetables, eggs. Enough but lack of other options.
Nice rooftop terrace to relax or enjoy breakfast.
Hotel is in a quit street, next to some bistro restaurants and convenience store. Walking distance from downtown with malls and a lot of restaurants, about 15 minutes. Good to ride bicicles, take long walks.
Extra tip, we found a wine celler nearby, great atmosphere for a glass of wine, called 'moon lounge'. 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
We were not expecting new year's eve celebration but had the surprise of a lot to explore outside along the lake, with street food, vendors, games and performance. Also fireworks that we could watch from the hotel balcony. Really nice reflections on the lake.
To come back again.

CclohWe stayed in a family room made up of two connected rooms, which was spacious enough for our needs, though it only had one toilet. The hotel is centrally located with plenty of eateries nearby, making it very convenient for meals. However, on the third day of our stay, the toilet bowl became badly clogged and could not be flushed after use. The hotel did send staff up to clear the blockage, but it was still quite inconvenient, especially for a family room with only one bathroom.

GGuest UserGreeted by the best view in ZQ, our stay only got better as we explored all the things offered in this wonderful city. This spacious and well equipped flat will leave you wanting for nothing. Restaurants (Opus was our favorite) a host of live music bars on walking street, and a quick trip to the cool river waters in Ziyungu, were just a few of the things we enjoyed during our stay. The Qixingyan national park, just steps from the hotel, offered nothing but beautiful sights and extremely clean natural surroundings. We can't wait to return. Our host made us feel like family. 5 Stars!

GGuest UserThis hotel was truly a delight! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. They helped with our luggage and checked us in, and were incredibly helpful. The room was spotless, the sheets and duvet cover were odorless, and the air conditioning was fast and quiet. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and all the toiletries were complete. The food nearby was delicious and tasty. This hotel also offers a late check-out option at 3 p.m., and if you left anything behind, you can contact the hotel and they'll ship it back immediately. The service was excellent, and the value for money was fantastic. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserAlthough Zhaoqing is a lovely place the transport to reach there from Kaiping was practically nonexistent. We almost scraped the idea of visiting until we found that we could transit and change to a bus from Jiangmen. Unfortunately we also hit another hitch at the Zhaoqing bus station because there was no public transport to the 7 Star Crags area where the hotel is located. However the pretty lady owner came to the rescue and picked us up. How cool is that? The lady boss is second to none. She was extremely helpful - suggesting places for food and attractions & even the order of doing them. Definitely the best part of staying here is her.
But her Homestay is great too. It’s very well located in front of the beautiful famous lake so we’re able to capture sunset and sunrise scenes easily.
In retrospect we should have stayed at least another night. Maybe we will meet again?
