We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

Facilities: Great, perfect for escaping the daily grind. Hygiene: Clean and hygienic. The unique tea fragrance is incredibly refreshing. Environment: Just look at the pictures – everyone who comes here instantly falls in love. Service: The whole family is wonderful. The dad is very trendy, the mom is incredibly wise, and the son is very enthusiastic. I drank various teas personally brewed by the owner and ate genuine tea eggs. When I couldn't join the group activities due to personal reasons and was left alone, the owner's family warmly invited me to have lunch with them. Highly recommended, I'll definitely come again.

The hotel is very close to the scenic area. They offer complimentary tea-flavored quail eggs, biscuits, and candies, plus a free fan and a multi-purpose cup holder. We were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade to one with a small courtyard, perfect for drying clothes. The room was stocked with lots of snacks, mosquito repellent, insect bite relief, iodine cotton swabs, band-aids, hair ties, hand cream, and other useful small items. The guesthouse has a private chef, and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced! There are also cats and parrots in the lobby.

Whether you're already passionate about tea or just starting your journey, Buzhichun is the perfect place to stay in Wuyishan — a city deeply rooted in tea culture. The room is spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed with minimalist touches. The natural colors and materials create a calming atmosphere that feels like home — perfect for slow living. The bathroom is large, spotless, and well-equipped with amenities. I especially loved the beautiful natural light in the room. On the ground floor, there’s a vibrant tea shop where young locals drop by, creating a lively atmosphere. You'll find historical exhibitions and curated objects that offer insight into both Wuyishan and the rich heritage of Chinese tea. And don’t miss meeting Xiaobai, the friendly resident dog who’s always happy to greet guests. The 6th floor features a cozy tatami-style common room, complete with a go board and a tea table overlooking stunning panoramic mountain views — an ideal place to unwind. What truly sets this place apart is the host and the staff. They’re warm, welcoming, and always ready to share tea with you — each time you return from a walk or come downstairs. I stayed two nights and tried at least 6–7 different kinds of Wuyishan tea. Even as a solo traveler and a foreigner, I felt included in conversations and easily connected with other guests. Pro tip: If you know a bit of Chinese, it’ll help you dive deeper into the stories behind the place. But even if you don’t, the language of tea will still make you feel at home. We received a warm welcome from the staff. Check in was straightforward and prompt. The lobby area was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The staff gave us a room upgrade and we had a spacious and well appointed room that made us feel very at home. When we arrived, it was close to lunch time and the staff checked in on us on meal requests, we took the lunch and it was a good spread of local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and gave us a good impression of how a well prepared local breakfast would be like, also the meal was well balanced with dairy, vegetables etc. The room package also included a afternoon tea in the garden with a water feature, a tea bath and a evening Chinese tea appreciation session where we chatted with the staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Tucked away in the mountains, this hotel offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, with its overall design exuding an elegant oriental charm. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest rooms provide breathtaking mountain views, and the bathtub by the window is perfect for a relaxing soak. The entire room is spotless, and the King Koil mattress is incredibly comfortable, ensuring a dreamless night's sleep. The butler service is attentive and polite, responding quickly to any requests. Guests can enjoy complimentary local rock tea. The hotel's amenities are excellent, and it's conveniently located, making it an ideal retreat from city life. Definitely worth recommending!

Our family stay with the kids was fantastic! They even upgraded us for free, which was a nice surprise. The room was really spacious, and the bed was huge. Plus, the hotel thoughtfully provided children's amenities. There are supermarkets and snack stalls nearby, making it super convenient for getting around with little ones. The staff were also very friendly towards the kids. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and definitely our top choice for family travel!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was big and sunny, very silent, the bed comfortable, the heating worked really well and the shower gets nice and hot if you wait for a while. It’s off season right now, but we were still surprised to see that the hotel was practically empty, it deserves more clients. It’s one of the few hotels inside the park which is very convenient, and much nicer than the ones outside of the park that look really sad and ugl. We much preferred waking up with a view on the tea plantations. The staff doesn’t speak English at all but they’re very kind and will try their best to understand all your needs through translation apps. We ended up staying a day less and they were kind enough to give us the breakfast for free. They will also offer you to taste their local tea in the hall, which is delicious and served in the traditional way which is fascinating to watch. The furniture and overall look of the hotel might be a little dated, but we actually liked it, it gives character compared to all the ultra modern, aseptic hotels. The breakfast was really abundant and delicious, typical of the area which we loved. The only real inconvenience is that didi won’t be able to leave you at the hotel entrance, it will be stopped at the park entrance which is a 10 minutes walk on a road busy with all the park’s buses. The solution is either booking the car directly through the hotel, or ask the hotel to register your didi’s plate so it can enter the park. We did this when we visited the nearby Xiamei village and it worked.

Environment: The hotel is located right next to Wuyi Palace scenic area, at the foot of Dawang Peak. The gardens are beautiful, and the scenery is stunning. Its proximity to the scenic area is very convenient; you can simply walk over. If you want to stay close to the attractions, this is a good choice. Facilities: As an older hotel, some of the facilities are a bit dated. We upgraded our room, and for the price, it was quite good value for money. Service: We received a complimentary fruit welcome gift in our room. There's also a laundry room and a Chinese restaurant.

This hotel deserves a five-star review! My trip to Wuyishan was made so comfortable and hassle-free by Jinjiang Metropolo, it completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel has a free tea room on the ground floor, so you can sit down and enjoy tea anytime after checking in. The authentic Wuyi rock tea has a rich aroma. Brewing a pot during leisure time helps shed the fatigue of travel and allows for an immersive experience of the local tea culture – it was truly delightful. The staff provided incredibly attentive service. They proactively helped plan my travel itinerary, clearly outlining the order of attractions and transportation methods. They also accurately recommended authentic local restaurants frequented by locals, helping me avoid tourist traps and enjoy delicious, affordable meals, completely solving any dining dilemmas during my trip. The Da Hong Pao tea sold at the hotel is of superior quality. After trying it, I immediately bought some. It's perfect for personal consumption or as a gift, with guaranteed authenticity, so there's no need to bother searching for specialty stores. The room was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The hotel's location is close to both the scenic area and the old street, making getting around very convenient. The entire experience was excellent, with thoughtful service and a rich tea culture atmosphere. This is definitely my top choice for a trip to Wuyishan, and I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it to all tea lovers and travelers!
