GGuest UserWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

GGuest UserAs a mom travelling with my two boys, (16 and 13) we had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our incredible host Xianti (XT), his lovely mother, and the entire family. They were exceptionally kind, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our entire visit. We stayed in the Triple Family Courtyard Room, which was not only beautifully decorated but also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Despite our late arrival, we were still able to order a meal from the aunties and wow, the food was outstanding! In fact, we ended up having lunch and dinner there every single day because it was just that delicious. Every meal felt like a lovingly prepared, home-cooked feast. We also had the pleasure of taking part in a tea ceremony, which was a serene and special experience. The tea was exquisite, and it was a lovely way to connect with the culture and surroundings. Another highlight was the recommendation to see Impression Da Hong Pao a next-level show that left us absolutely amazed. What made it even better was that our host arranged the tickets for us and had them delivered to the villa, so thoughtful and convenient! If you’re still hesitating, don’t! We can wholeheartedly recommend this villa. It truly felt like a home away from home in China 💖 and was the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Wuyishan mountains. GGuest User👍👍👍 I had a wonderful stay at Tongmu Youmingju Homestay and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tongmu area. The homestay is located in a beautiful and peaceful natural setting, surrounded by mountains and forest. One of my favorite experiences was enjoying excellent local tea while sitting right next to the river, breathing the fresh mountain air and listening to the sound of the water. It is the perfect place to relax and experience the authentic atmosphere of Tongmu. The hosts are exceptionally kind, welcoming and always ready to help with anything. They made me feel like a guest in their home rather than just a customer. The homemade food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious. It was some of the best local food I had during my trip. As a tea enthusiast, I especially appreciated staying with a family that truly understands the local tea culture. Their knowledge and hospitality made my visit even more memorable. I genuinely enjoyed every day of my stay and was sad to leave. I will definitely come back, and from now on this will be my permanent place to stay whenever I visit the Wuyishan and Tongmu area. Thank you for your warm hospitality. I look forward to seeing you again. 🙏❤️👍

The public area, the tea rooms and the garden are decorated in a traditional Chinese style. Large modern and comfortable rooms, a big breakfast buffet and an outstanding service completed our perfect experience. Great place!

AAnonymous UserWe received a warm welcome from the staff. Check in was straightforward and prompt. The lobby area was spacious and pleasantly furnished. The staff gave us a room upgrade and we had a spacious and well appointed room that made us feel very at home. When we arrived, it was close to lunch time and the staff checked in on us on meal requests, we took the lunch and it was a good spread of local specialties. Breakfast was freshly made and gave us a good impression of how a well prepared local breakfast would be like, also the meal was well balanced with dairy, vegetables etc. The room package also included a afternoon tea in the garden with a water feature, a tea bath and a evening Chinese tea appreciation session where we chatted with the staff. We really enjoyed our stay there.

GGuest UserThis elegant B&B is conveniently located by Chongyang Creek. I recommend choosing a room with a mountain view; waking up in the morning to see the Dawang Peak is truly worth it! The tea room on the first floor is open to the public, while the tea room on the sixth floor is for guests only. The owner has excellent aesthetic taste, and the staff are charming and friendly. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Wuyi Mountain.

GGuest UserMy 2-night stay at the Wuyishan Berna Hotel was pretty good, so here's my review: The location is excellent, right on the main street of Dawangfeng Road, making it super convenient for getting around. They also have a private parking lot in the back. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive, even helping us plan our itinerary. We got a free room upgrade, and the room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and comprehensive facilities. For instance, the bathroom had plenty of hooks, which many 5-star hotels often lack – a big plus! However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks: 1. The breakfast offered a good variety, but it wasn't very refined. The coffee was instant, not freshly brewed, and items like noodles and eggs were served from large trays rather than being cooked to order. 2. The soundproofing in the room wasn't great. There was significant noise from planes taking off and landing, especially in the early hours of the morning. Light sleepers might want to consider this.

One machine every so often would come up with E1, while the other machine after the cycle has ended, you'll have to wait up to 10mins to be able to open the door. Told reception and they said it is normal for the machines.
