The whole estate felt like the proprietress was hosting everyone herself. She was constantly in the lobby and dining area, greeting guests during check-in and at breakfast the next day. There are also several adorable dogs here that immediately come over for pets!
The amenities and breakfast at the hotel are excellent. The lobby offers a variety of snacks, all from Sam's Club, which you can just grab and eat. There's also a massage chair, a fireplace, and more. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms offer direct views of the autumn leaves. In the evening, the large pool in the garden is filled with hot spring water, and soaking in it during cold weather is incredibly comfortable. It's a genuine hot spring, and Guzhou itself is famous for its hot springs. Some room types even have private hot tubs. It's truly relaxing and helps soothe away the fatigue of a long journey.

Guest UserThe location is super convenient, right near the scenic spot's ticket office. We were able to park our car at the owner's place and take a shortcut. The owner and the auntie were incredibly kind. We were traveling with elderly parents and young children and hadn't packed everything we needed. One of our parents suffered from altitude sickness, and it was difficult to go out and buy medicine. The owner generously shared some of their own supplies with us, which really helped alleviate their discomfort. The hotel environment is also fantastic! Our room's window faced the snow-capped mountains directly. Waking up, opening the curtains, and admiring the view from bed was absolutely stunning. This is a truly wonderful place, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Guest UserThe environment is excellent, with an authentic ******* vibe. The infinity hot spring offers a first-class experience, and the water quality is wonderfully comfortable. The room is clean with no strange odors, and the facilities are complete. There's also a laundry room, and the underground parking is very convenient, complete with charging stations. The butler service is warm and attentive, and the food and accommodation quality are top-notch. It’s an absolutely fantastic place for a summer getaway and relaxation, highly recommended! The food is also great, especially the cold dishes—a must-try!

Guest UserWe chose the family room for our trip to Bipenggou with our child, and the overall stay was very comfortable. The layout with one large and one small bed was practical, and the children's bed had cute, playful bedding that my little one absolutely loved. The room also had a private balcony with direct views of the continuous mountains; it was incredibly relaxing to just sit out there, feel the breeze, and admire the scenery.
The entire room was elegantly decorated and spotless, with wooden lattice partitions creating distinct areas. The cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The hotel lobby had a wonderful ambiance, featuring oil paintings of the snowy mountains of Western Sichuan. The public courtyard was lush with greenery and even had hot spring pools. Parking was convenient for those driving, and it wasn't far from the scenic area. The service was attentive, making it perfect for a mountain getaway with kids.

It's very close to Bipenggou, conveniently located right on the road to Lixiao. The rooms are spacious. Although there isn't a private balcony, there's a wide corridor which is quite convenient for smokers. The restaurant is also a major highlight; the food is delicious, though a bit on the expensive side. It's a perfectly good option for guests who prefer not to eat out.

PeteAMGreat location, new and clean facilities, and a super comfy bed with a heated blanket under the bed sheet so no more dry air from a heater. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight was definitely the toilet — the best I’ve seen in China, with a warm seat! Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. 👍

ManguoqihaidefengThe facilities are quite complete. The wooden cabins are surrounded by a riot of wildflowers and lush greenery in summer, so the natural setting is absolutely stunning. However, very few of the outdoor hot spring pools were open, and aside from the rooftop infinity pool, only a handful of indoor pools were available. So, the hot spring experience in summer was just so-so.
We stayed in a 'Flower Field Cabin,' which felt a bit damp, and a quick glance at the bathroom showed some mold... If you're a clean freak, it's best not to look too closely. But considering we're in the mountains, you can't really complain about these conditions.
The breakfast was quite rich, and we also had dinner at the hotel, which was pretty good.

Anonymous UserWe arrived early around 11.30am and the staff kindly allowed us to check in. Since the room wasn’t ready yet, we left our luggage and walked to Bipenggou Park, which is only about 10 minutes away. The room has floor heating, making it very cozy and warm despite the cold weather. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone planning to overnight in Bipenggou.

Posted on Jul 26, 2026|Wilderness Starry Sky Campsite [Starry Twin Room]
Guest User
Overall, I was satisfied with this stay, but there are a few points I'd like to share:
1. Some information about the hotel is lacking. For instance, details like the hotel's elevation, the layout of different room types, and transportation (especially since the Wilderness Camp is not within walking distance of the lobby) should be made public on the hotel's main information page or official WeChat account.
2. We stayed in a Star-gazing Cabin at the Wilderness Camp. The hotel offered us an upgrade, but our child wanted to experience it, so we didn't upgrade. However, after trying it, I found it's not actually suitable for stargazing. Firstly, the plastic exterior isn't clean enough. More importantly, it gets cold at night, even in summer you need to turn on the heater, leading to a significant temperature difference between inside and outside. High humidity at night causes condensation on the plastic shell, blurring the view. To truly stargaze, you have to go outside the cabin, but the Wilderness Camp area has many mosquitoes at night.
3. Even in summer, it's only about 13-14 degrees Celsius at night. With the heater on, it's barely tolerable for sleeping. I can't imagine how one would stay there in winter.
4. The Wilderness Camp is about 2.5km from the hotel lobby. If you don't have your own car, you need to arrange a shuttle with the hotel. They usually manage to get a car for you within 10-15 minutes, which is quite efficient.
5. The food and service were decent, nothing exceptional. You can't expect too much from a hotel inside a scenic area, and for one, it's pretty good.
6. The biggest advantage of being a hotel within a scenic area is quick access to the attractions. If you stay at the Wilderness Camp, Dragon King Lake is right next door, and Wilderness Camp guests get exclusive half-day access daily.
7. The hot spring is good. It's not luxurious, but it's very therapeutic. I heard it's the only natural hot spring in that vicinity.
